I had them originally machine my engine block and do the balance on it, the…read moreidiot in the back sand blasted the front timing cover and didn't clean it out with the sand in the pressure valve for the oil pump and they assembled it like that and it wiped out a lot of high dollar parts and they at first said they would take care of it after I proved what they did and of course they got offended and threw some attitude so it provoked me to contact and file a case with the bar, then they wanted me to bring said engine back to them and I agreed on the condition I watched the disassembly of it personally and we discuss the damage to it because of the sand , the failed to wait for me to come watch and when I did come by he had a couple things for my inspection which the strategy of what he had out was not bad but he put it back together when I was not present and left lots of debris in the lifter guides and didn't use any assembly lube so now I'm having to pull it back out and call the BAR again and sue them, by the way I am an ASE certified mechanic. This is what I get for having somebody else assumed a motor for me.

I came in to work within my local community to have a table base created…read more The shop had come highly recommended from the hardware store in Placerville. I came in and worked through design ideas with Dan and was told that I would be able to receive my table within 2 weeks. Well two weeks came and went no phone call concerning anything and no updates to keep me informed as to what you were experiencing at the shop. I showed up two days after the two week time frame had come and gone, only to be told, "oh I didn't have a big enough order to get your order in on the steel truck." This was not my issue nor my concern when I had agreed in good faith to have something made for me, nor did I ask for the table to be completed within the specified time frame. I was given the time frame by Dan for completion when I inquired when it would be completed The attitude I experienced was very unapologetic instead of, "I'm terribly sorry let me see what I can do to assist you." The ladies in the office were amazing and always right there to be part of customer service. Dan you are very lucky to have them up front as I'm sure they assist with your business levels. I realize that mine was a very small project in the scope of what you do but I still felt very unappreciated within my community. And moving forward I will make sure to let people know the type of experience that I had with your shop and not recommend any of your work. I do work within the community and speak with a lot of people on a daily basis .  I tried to send this to their website to help them improve on their customer service and it was kicked back no longer available

They treat their employees with discontent, machines are run to the ground with little to no maintenance, documents are fudged to receive approval from the customers, and management has their collective heads soo far up each others ass it's a wonderful how they even get products out the door in a timely manor and to customers specifications. Oh yeah they don't ... More of their parts come back because they are wrong that orders coming in. Take my advice ... There are better and honest shops that will gladly to the work required to exacting detail for a better price and better service. This place should be called blowline cause I think a majority of the management is snorting lines than anything else. ... Oh and if there was such a thing as negative reviews theyd get tat in spades .... Fucking losers
