Many of the local sandblasters I called wouldn't even give us a quote because the area wasn't big enough! Your job is too small they said! Zach from VSR came out on a Sunday to do the estimate and was back on Wednesday to do the work. The patio looks great! His water system does not etch the concrete but removed all the paint. The paint on the side of the house is untouched and the surrounding area is free of overspray and debris. They take their time to cover everything with tarps and mask off surrounding areas. Because they use water, there is no dust or flying sand. Their system is EPA approved and not hazardous to the environment. They clean-up when they're done too. Some guys just drive away and leave a mess but not VSR. They take the time to make sure everything is cleaned-up properly. I highly recommend Zach and VSR if you have any surface restoration needs.

I reached out to this place of business to have my truck club plaque powder coated here. Spoke with…read morethe son of the business ( N**k) about having a gold with a sparkling effect done. He presented a candy gold and mentioned to have some examples sprayed to view before starting the plaque. Instead he called later in the week and said it was ready for pick up, i arrived it wasn't what i expected! It was darker than i expected and a couldn't really see the sparkle i was wanting. He said when the sun hits it at a certain angle it'll be lighter and have a sparkle affect, he said try it out for a couple of days. I agreed, so the sun hit the plaque and revealed darker shades of color in multiple areas, there was also portions of metal revealed ( completely dis appointed)! Took it back and stressed my concerns, the father of the business was present and agreed that it needed to be stripped and re done to my expectations which i mentioned that color shade i could live with but could they make sure it was all one solid color. Dropped off monday and i followed up wednesday, they said it was done! ( I guess no call) I arrived and it was a completely different color, like a root beer shade. At this point i was pissed, respectfully grabbed my plaque and left, did they think i was color blind. C'mon If you value your hard work / project, this isn't the place to have work done.

Power washing and acid solutions failed to remove years of staining. I considered replacing the driveway but felt that sandblasting might do the job. I found Rich at Best Sandblasting on Yelp, and left a message. Rich called and thoroughly explained what he felt he could do after inspecting the job. My availability required several followup calls and rescheduling, but Rich reliably followed through and we found a day.
