Wouldn't ever use or recommend these guys EVER again. Had them powder coat my custom fabricated bumpers for my truck. After about 2 years the powder coat started to peel off. Started to get really bad after about 4 years, talked to Les the owner and asked him if they warranted this even tho it's been some time. He told me to stop by he wanted to see it, I stopped by a few days later and he said he would re paint them at no charge and that they shouldn't have started to peel and it may have not be sand blasted good on the edges of the bumper. Which makes perfect sense... I get a call from Les the day after and now he's saying it's been 4 years and he's blaming the salty roads through the pass cause I drive from Sacramento to Reno often. That's a great excuse but how does salt get under the powder paint on ALL the edges? Sounds like a poor excuse for them not being able to execute the prep work. What a Horrible businessman that don't stand behind his work or his WORD. I definitely wouldn't trust them with leaving anything at their shop or having my valuable items being painted at this shop. read more

This is an extremely overdue review. I brought a set of raw steel fender flares in for a power coating quote. I had stopped by quite a few other shops and didn't get the warm and fuzzy. I called Performance first and found them to be very outgoing, friendly, personable. They suggested I come on in so I can see exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a light texture but nothing close to truck bed liner. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted despite everyone working. They made me, the customer, the priority. The job was estimated to take 2 to 3 days and they were able to knock it out in 24 hours! Underpromise, overdeliver - a lost art that these guys have mastered. Upon picking up my flares I was once again installed greeted upon arrival and they had my flares laid out for inspection. The price was the lowest out of everyone I called and I am confident in saying it is the best service and quality. I have attached pictures of what the flares looked like when I brought them in, after they were done, once they were installed on my Jeep, and a picture of my Jeep today. For the record, these were powder-coated in December of 2017. As of today they are good as new. This is with over 40k miles, the California sun beating down on them (no garage), multiple camping trips, and have been through the Rubicon and Fourdyce. I slid into a tree and all that happened to the fender was some sap got on it. The tree on the other hand, huge gouge. I will 100% be coming back for my next powder coating need. read more

They will not let a part go unless they are satisfied with the outcome. The help up front is professional and respectful and they treat you right! I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to rebuild an old bmx frame that I've had since the early 90's. I wanted to repaint it to the factory color. They powdercoated my gate. Best deal I could find that does quality work and has great personable customer service. They actually sandblast your project before powdercoating. Other places just do a cheap wipe down and charge extra for sandblasting. I'd come back for future needs. My only regret is choosing semi-gloss. Should have gone witg full gloss sheen. read more
