    16" Mushroom Pizza

Only one word to describe this mushroom pizza... AWESOME! Operating out of a ghost kitchen in the diner on Lee Rd., an easy call to place an order and it was ready when promised. First time trying. Great pizza! Will be back!

Finally made it here. 15 minutes from Beachwood definitely worth the little drive…read more First off I love I place with rules and regulation. Since it was our first time the cashier took her time to explain the ropes to us. Greatly appreciated. You call in your order then come pick it up, duly noted. SO THE NAME SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. You BUY a pizza GET the second free. Mind you I am from Buffalo NY and I'm going to say this is on my list of good pizzas. Good sauce not to sweet not to tart. Good crust light and airy sturdy enough to hold all its toppings. NO PORK!!! But flavorful alternatives. I was highly impressed. Also look out Taco Tuesday PizzaBogo has a 11.00 lg pizza unlimited topping. I will be exploring this place often.

The appeal of different sauce choices and unlimited toppings was too good to pass up. Oh, and we definitely overloaded those pies! The pro was how easy online ordering made it to scroll through the massive list of options and build exactly what we wanted. The woe was that the order didn't come through clearly on their end, so they had to call to double-check the details (which must be frustrating for them). The pies were balanced beautifully, with toppings spread evenly so no one flavor dominated. Everything was bold, fresh, and delicious. I even tried the gluten-free crust, and they nailed it, light, fluffy, with just the right crunch. If we lived nearby, this would absolutely be a go-to pizza spot. Five stars!

Buzzed and starving, you stumble across a NYC-style slice shop directly along your critical path. In the moment, it feels like Moses parting the Red Sea before your very eyes. You watch happy patrons pile out with slices as large as your head, you smell the delicious grease; you can practically taste your pie already. Stepping inside, this religious experience continues when, right as you ready yourself to order, you watch the pizza barista pull a hot, fresh pie directly from the oven. You can see instantly deduce the pizza is perfectly cooked--the cheese is melted evenly, the smell of the tomato sauce lingers in the air, the crust has just the right bend--you look the cashier in the eye and declare that a slice of that fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza pie is exactly what you want. Now imagine the horror as the cashier takes that fresh slice of pizza, perfect as Michelangelo's David, and PUTS IT BACK IN THE OVEN. Horrified, you can do nothing but watch as your already amazing slice of pizza is burnt to a crisp. Served to you five minutes later, your wonderfully floppy New York slice now has the consistency of a saltine cracker. It has been charred to the point of burying the cheese and sauce--replaced by the flavor of charcoal. You might think this is an indulgent (and even pretentious) way to simply say "the pizza was overcooked," but I believe understanding the promise of this product is essential to understanding the pain of its disappointment. Lil Ronnie's is the type of place that has all of the potential to become a legitimate contender for the best pizza in town--it does so much right with its atmosphere and location, and my nose and sight told me the potential exists within that original version of the slice! Just please. We only need to cook the pizza once.
