Here's the list: Sunrise, Jolly green, Power BLT, Baked Oatmeal, Croissant French Toast, Salsa Verde Pork &Eggs, Homemade Blueberry Tart and Carrot Cake Pancakes. Something tells me you just can't wait to hear.. the Fresh squeezed Sunrise & Jolly Green juice were so fresh and refreshing my goodness they were like little liquid vitamins drinks. The green went down so smooth with a hint of sweetness. The sunrise was just right for first thing in the morning carrot juice mixture I don't think we get enough of carrot juice but I felt so alive after drinking enough too go in on that Savory Satisfying Salsa Verde and it with the over easy egg on top to bring it home. When delivered it was still hot, the pork was so moist and seasoned darn well the salsa brought the entire thing together with that warm egg yolk I almost hurt myself it is a must try. Then comes the Large Power BLT with added grilled chicken. Listen to me you have to add the grilled chicken it takes it to a whole'nother level with the hickory smoky bacon cooked perfectly the kale and the brussel sprouts bean sprouts grape tomatoes it's just loaded goodness and the dressing being oil based seasons the green because they are raw so keep that in mind. You can literally feed 2-3 people with this salad. It's gonna be a summer staple for me no doubt!!!! Now comes the Baked Oatmeal - I've never had baked oatmeal but I believe they may have changed my mind with the berries I can't explain the warm goodness I think it was cinnamon but the oatmeal is so incredibly inviting so moist and chewy almost like an oatmeal cookie added berries for sweetness I added cream too it and let all my cares extinguish themselves. The Croissant French Toast- is RICH absolutely Rich, buttery toasted 3 pieces of goodness with a great helping of syrup. I say have some eggs and bacon some kind of fat or acidic beverage to cut through the richness, it put me to sleep when I finished it. We have the Homemade Blueberry Tart- ok let's talk.. flaky, buttery, when you break off a piece you layers of dough like someone loves their job. The filling on the inside compared to dough was perfect and very blueberry light sweetness, it's a cross between pop tart and toaster strudel but better. The icing kinda rubbed off in the bag but it was just enough and sprinkles to enjoy. I really liked that!! Yep, I saved the best for last those super moist Carrot Cake Pancakes, where have they been all my life huh where have they been? Just a simple sweet carrot cake with syrup you might as well say, like sponges just absorb the syrup to put you in a food coma and gone add a pad of butter as if, well as if it needed to be rich too flavor explosion just all over the place. I've never had that flavor pancake before but I will again. I wish I knew about this place before now, but it is one great find for any day or any occasion. Every item purchased was made, prepared and packaged with care. HomeGrown clearly loves their job because great things are coming out of that kitchen. I was very impressed my favorites are the Power BLT added grilled chicken and those Carrot Cake Pancakes. I've found another way to get my veggies . If you have not tried this place you got to and apparently they have some several locations. Picture time! I also posted my order and price shall you wanna take a walk on the tasty side of life. Enjoy! It's definitely a Yelp 5*****star. The serving sizes were nice. The price for what I got was perfect for me. The flavors paired well in each item. The excellent care in packing made me really happy. HomeGrown is well worth the investment.

Yet if you are not excited about any of what is on... it is not in your face and you can easily sit comfortably and have a conversation with your table. I hope to eat on their patio someday soon and will review again for that occasion. The bar is central to this place (who knew that a place called 30Hop would have that.) Also this place has 32 taps which is more than the original 30. But, I think the name will remain the same. 4 stars The Staff - I have rarely been greeted as well or as friendly as when I showed up here. Not only was the hostess nice and sweet, asking where we wanted to set and then guiding us to an area that had staff waiting on it but, also stood to chat briefly till our waitress got there to get us started with waters. Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. She was friendly and able to read the table which I am sure takes quite a bit of talent. It was an impromptu date night so we were only waited on when one of us looked up and around. The Manager was also around to say hi and chat with us a bit before continuing on to other tables and see how they were doing. 5 Stars The Food - I picked up a chicken sandwich with fries. It was exactly what I was looking for on this day. My date, however, picked up a salmon salad that was amazing! Not only was the salmon cooked perfectly with a sear on all sides to give it that crispiness that is so desired but this was plated like a Michelin star was in the kitchen! Everything tasted so good. And I cannot wait to get back and have more things off the menu. My date even assured me that she will be right there with me! :D Overall - This is a fantastic addition to the Merriam area there and a good revitalization of the location. My only comment is that parking is limited. In our discussions of this I have come to some conclusions. I believe that ideas/architectural concepts are often adopted in for use in the KC Metro from successes in other cities around the globe. As much as this seems like a great idea, it seems like few of these builders take into account that this is a city of car travel. We have very low public transportation or infrastructure to support alternative modes of travel. Our city is on a sprawl and though our traffic is low you are traveling a greater distance to get to other city centers in the metro. I think the biggest reflection of this is that parking is often and afterthought and that there is rarely the right amount with any of the new constructions around town. This of course has NO refection in stars for 30 Hop. Just an observation. 5 stars!

Everything flows. It's organized chaos done right. The seasonal drinks are consistently creative and actually good. Not just pretty for Instagram. Balanced, thoughtful, and well executed. And the bakery? Dangerous. The display case is pure temptation. Cinnamon rolls, pecan twists, danishes, cookies, scones. Everything looks like the right choice, which makes choosing impossible. They also have solid brunch plates and sandwiches if you're trying to pretend you're here for something other than sugar and caffeine. Now for the one miss. I ordered the pepper jack breakfast burrito, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to the rest of the experience. Flat flavors, mushy texture, no real identity. The hot sauce was doing most of the work. It felt out of place in a spot that clearly cares about quality. Thankfully, the bakery and coffee saved the day. The pecan twist was flaky, buttery, and just sweet enough. The seasonal latte with cold foam was smooth, balanced, and dialed in. Overall, McLain's is a Kansas City staple for a reason. Efficient, welcoming, and consistently good at what they do. One menu tweak away from being near-perfect. Solid 4-star spot. Would happily come back.

It's a lovely restaurant. It seems a bit out of the way with mostly corporate buildings around. The restaurant has a nice modern aesthetic. I like the purple hyacinths hanging from the ceiling in one area. It was very steady for an off time in the afternoon. First, our server Olivia was amazing! Very attentive and we were extra needy this day so I really appreciate her patience. We even dropped food on the floor. Oops! She was so nice about it and cleaned it up immediately. We had customizations and extra requests. No problem for her! She went above and beyond. I hope she sees this because she was such a joy! The food was also very good. We started with the biscuits and one peach compote and one blueberry. Both were yummy. They were traditional drop biscuits and I love a good biscuit! We also had an order of fried green tomatoes on goat cheese grits. You get 4 very large slices. I could only eat one. The grits were yummy but there were not enough of them in relation to the friend green tomatoes. They were also encased by a sauce. I'm guessing a remoulade. I don't really care for remoulade sauce so I'd have removed it had I known it came with the dish. It really overpowered the goat cheese taste in the grits. The tomatoes were very al dente and I would have preferred them cooked a bit more. The dish was still good but my least favorite and I would normally love anything with those ingredients and fried green tomatoes are a favorite so the remoulade (or whatever it was) sauce was a real problem for me. I would definitely get them again without the sauce because they are great otherwise. But that sauce just overpowers every other flavor! I got the chicken tender dinner and others in my party got the bone in fried chicken. Everyone liked their chicken. The tenders were a big size. 4 of them but I hit 2 meals out of them. Everyone liked the Parmesan rosemary potatoes. I really liked the bacon green beans. The only side we weren't impressed with was the Mac and cheese unfortunately. The cheese was not good. We got coffees and a chai. All of them were very good. A bit pricey for the amount you get though. Even with the smaller complaints, I'd still give th a 5 because of the outstanding service and the dishes were overall very good and large portions. We will definitely return and I hope to try out a breakfast item next visit!

The menu is large but easy to navigate, and the prices felt pretty average for the area. I ordered the avocado toast ($12.99), and it was bigger than expected--in a good way. The bread was perfectly toasted and piled high with avocado, thick slices of mozzarella, tomatoes, and a nice drizzle of balsamic. It also came with two eggs and a choice of side; I went with the fresh fruit, which was a great complement. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The only drawback was the limited staff. Our waiter was fantastic, but he was clearly stretched thin--handling seating, bar duties, takeout orders, and multiple tables all at once. It was a bit much for one person and did lead to longer wait times across the board. Hopefully, this was just a one-off situation, because the food and service quality were definitely there. I'd absolutely come back again.

The dish came with two over-medium eggs on a tostada shell, topped with birria beef and onion, plus a side of refried beans and two warm tortillas. The beans were actually seasoned and flavorful (a nice surprise since refried beans are often bland elsewhere). Red and green salsa cups were available at the condiment station, and both paired nicely with the meal. It was a fairly light breakfast overall, though next time I may add a pancake for balance. My mom ordered the standard two scrambled eggs with hash browns and toast. Simple and done well. We both had coffee -- she liked hers, but I found mine a bit weak (probably should've gone lighter on the cream). The space has limited seating, but the décor adds real character -- lush hanging plants and colorful Mexican-inspired artwork give it a bright cultural touch. It creates a cozy, homey atmosphere that feels both casual and welcoming. The cashier was friendly and helpful with recommendations. Prices are definitely on the higher side, which is what kept this at 3 stars instead of 4. They also offer a senior discount and another posted discount that I noticed, but I missed the details. If I were rating just my huevos rancheros, this would've been a solid 4 stars -- flavorful, well-seasoned, and a great recommendation. But my mom's order was pretty basic (though that's what she wanted), and I don't think her senior discount was applied. Combined with higher prices, this felt like a 3.5 overall, which I rounded down to 3. Overall, a solid spot for both classic American breakfasts and Mexican favorites. I'll definitely return to try the chilaquiles or Texas Benny.
