Seeing as I was the only one in the drive thru, I figured it would be a quick order. The screen displayed my order and he even read it off to me. I pull up to the window and pay for my order. I am handed a bag with 2 doughnuts and napkins that look like they had been scrunched up. I continue to wait outside the window, expecting my drink to soon follow. After 5 minutes, the guy returns to the window, "Sir are you waiting for something?" He asks. I remind hjm that I ordered a drink and he frantically runs off. When he returns he asks me to pull around to the parking lot and they would give it to me within 3 minutes. At this time, about 3 or 4 cars are now behind me. I wait for about 10 minutes before I finally run inside to check on my order. After standing by the register, almost begging to be served, I finally say "excuse me, I have been waiting outside for this peach sunshine drink". He looks at me very confused and then finds the order. HE HAD NOT EVEN STARTED THE ORDER. I grab my drink and walk outside to see that 5 more cars had lined up along the side of the building. One of which had their window down. I ask her, "hey, did they tell you to pull around? You're better off going inside". She gets out of her car to go inside, just as another car pulls around to wait in a parking spot. I am not sure if they're playing the waiting game with customers, and hopes that they will get impatient and drive off or what. Whatever the case may be, this place is not worth your time. Continue driving down to scooters coffee, Panera, or heck even Starbucks.

The current staff working there are all incredible and so much better than past crews. That's just being honest. I've been getting consistently good coffees here, along with other food options.

A bowl of smiles and sunshine! Lydia was such a great help, letting me know what her favorites were. This helped me decide what to order being that this was our first time. The restaurant is pretty large and spacious, but felt a little dated, and had that stale smell in the air. We were seated right away, and everyone was nice and pleasant. I ordered the Mezze, which came with baba ghanouj, hummus, 2 pieces of falafel, and Arabic salad (which is essentially just tomatoes and cucumbers, neither of which I eat) for $11.99 The baba ghanouj was very good. The falafel was good as well. The hummus was just ok. Not the best in the Metropolitan area, but certainly not the worst either. It also comes with pita bread, which I declined. (I'm avoiding gluten due to a gluten sensitivity issue) I ordered a side of rice ($2.99) instead (I mix everything together with the rice). The rice was good; I think they add turmeric in it. I also requested grilled onion, which I just realized they charged me for, along with the tahini and hot sauce (which they call shatta). Not a big deal at $1 each, but it's always noteworthy to me when places nickel and dime you. I also ordered the grape leaves. 5 dolmas for $5.99. The dolmas were served cold, which I'm not used to. I like when they're served with warm rice and leaves. (I warmed up the leftovers in a pan, and they tasted so much better). My guy ordered the Lamb Maklubeh, a traditional Palestinian dish. He said it was good. All in all, it was a nice place and the food ranged from good to decent. And the prices were decent as well. I do wish they were more knowledgeable and accommodating to vegans though. When I inquired whether certain dishes and sauces were vegan, the waitress said she couldn't guarantee it. I didn't like that. Aside from that, it's a cool place and worth a try, especially if you want to try some traditional Palestinian cuisine.
