Went for Jeopardy night and the ladies group did well. Just like the show, it's all about wit and speed, with teams (or single players) registering and submitting answers from their phones. Beware that team of no more than six allowed, otherwise create multiple teams if your group is large. The game room is pretty spacious, so another bonus! I ordered the BLT and honestly it was not the greatest. Not much by way of bacon and the lettuce was pretty wilty. The tots were crispy and good though! Prolly best to come for drinks and fun or just to hand out, but pass on the dining.

I ordered the BHT burger which had your usual lettuce and tomatoes, roast beef, ham, and turkey breast with a side of fries. The whole meal cost around $11.50ish and that's pretty cheap considering I'm from Hawaii and something like this would've been between $16-$20. It tasted like a typical sandwich that you could make yourself. It was just convenient because it was in the area and we had a limited lunch break. There's ample parking in their parking lot shared with other establishments. The bartender/waitress was nice and quick. Our food came out within 7mins. This place is more of a bar than an actual restaurant. It was dark with pool tables and stuff. It looked like they had a stage too, but it's probably used for live entertainments for nights.

Skippy's has been my home bar ever since I moved to Denver nearly two years ago, and I honestly…read morecan't recommend it enough. Beyond the great food and drinks (and prices), what makes this place special is the people. As a woman who often comes in by herself, I've always felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable. The bartenders are attentive, friendly, and truly on top of their game. They remember their regulars and have created the kind of neighborhood bar where it's easy to feel like you belong. Shortly after moving to Denver, I experienced an unimaginable personal loss, and during that difficult time Skippy's became a place where I could get out of the house, watch a game, have a great meal, read a book and simply be around kind people. I'll always be grateful for that. I've also met some wonderful friends here--people I've gone to sporting events and concerts with--and that's something I never expected when I first walked through the door. The food is fantastic, especially the wings. If you haven't been on Thursdays for the $1 wing special, you're missing out! And with more than 30 TVs, it's the perfect place to catch a game. They never hesitate to switch one of the TVs so I can watch something that's not always popular in Colorado, like Nebraska football, Nebraska volleyball, or a WNBA game, which I really appreciate. Whenever family or friends visit me in Denver, Skippy's is always on the itinerary. It's more than just a sports bar--it's become one of my favorite places in the city and a place that truly helped me feel at home.

They have great drink deals all week and today (Sunday) Domestic beers were $3.50 for a pint. Pretty good deal for nowadays. Also on Sundays, they have Breakfast all day! We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but did start off with Irish nachos. It was really tasty! The chips are made in house. The white cheese sauce was very smooth and tasty, and they are very generous with quality corned beef. I ordered the chicken strip basket with fries. Holy cow, they serve chicken filets (3), with fries. The batter was a perfect crisp and the chicken was juicy. They also have great sauces to go with it. My husband had the fish and chips. He said the fish was fresh tasting, and it was battered nicely (not too thick). They have tons of events through the week; trivia, poker come to mind. The place was so inviting that we want to come back for trivia night. Noonan's deserves all the stars for good food, great servers with good convo (thanks Mike!), and fun atmosphere.

We really like everything but the fries were addictive. I would come back to try more of the menu and get some more fries!
