Scooters Coffee has won my coffee loving soul! The caramel latte is delicious! Who would have thought you can get an extra large? After you order you receive your total and a "just scoot on around to the window!" Sometimes it's just the little things can make someone smile. I'm highly recommending a visit.

Chelsea's newest coffee offering! Salted caramelicious with cold foam... Very tasty!

Tried Chelsea's newest coffee shop the other day, and was not disappointed! I ordered the salted caramelicious with cold foam and an egg and bacon burrito. The coffee was delicious-smooth and well flavored. The egg burrito was ok, but texturally kind of odd. The bacon was finely chopped, as were the eggs, and I kept thinking it was as if someone else had already chewed up the filling and put it back in the burrito shell, which was a lot crispier than I like. That said, it didn't taste bad, it was just weird haha. The lady working the window was super nice and chatted with me while I waited for my order to be prepared, which was a welcome change from most window service these days! I'll definitely be back!

Who doesn't love a giveaway?…read more 7 Brew is giving away a free hat with the purchase of a large drink TODAY ONLY! I picked up two drinks because a friend wanted a hat but couldn't make it to this location. My favorites are the Strawberry Lemonade drink and the Orange Sherbet Shake. If you're a fan of an Orange Creamsicle, you'll definitely want to try the Orange Sherbet Shake! The service was fast and friendly, and the upbeat, welcoming atmosphere made the visit even better. Great drinks, great service, a fun vibe, and a free hat? Sounds like a win to me!

A couple of my absolute favorites are the lavender lemonade and the cereal milk matcha latte! I have also ordered a dupe of the Starbucks Dubai matcha latte (pictured) and it was great! It wasn't on the menu but this is what I ordered - matcha latte, whole milk, chocolate macadamia nut syrup, Irish cream syrup, chocolate drizzle, and cold foam! The service is always outstanding. The staff are friendly and quick to get your order out. I will say I usually have to get them to do half sweet on my drink because they do make them pretty sweet. I'm definitely a sweet coffee drinker but it's been a little intense for me at full strength haha but half sweet is generally a perfect balance! Definitely give them a try, they have some really great drink options!

When you get to the light at the corner of 31 and Pelham Park Blvd, just look to the right and you'll see a quaint little white building. Behind it is the Pelham Public Library which looms over Bullet and to the other side of Bullet is Edgars Bakery. As mentioned BC has been there about a year now. The other BC is on 280 and there's one more in Fairhope. All are owned by the same individual who also owns their sister store the Red Mountain Expresso. BC is not technically another "pop up" coffee place because this is actually a brick and concrete building albeit it's just big enough to be a full service drive thru, but it doesn't have any seating inside or out. Just a drive thru. The drive-thru is planned nicely so it's easy to get to the order window then around to the pickup/pay window. Their menu options long and diverse but also typical of any coffee place. They also serve fresh daily sausage biscuits and pimento cheese biscuits. They have specialties like the Turtle latte, Classics like cold brew, blended drinks like frappes and non coffee drinks like iced teas and chai. I was lucky today because they are in middle of running a special called Frappy Hour good for another week. From 3-6pm all medium frappes are $2! I tried the Java Chip and Cookie & Cream. She asked me if I wanted the "coffee" or "milk" based. The coffee is the traditional way but the milk would be more like a milkshake. I chose coffee. I didn't get whipped cream which was offered. I only had to wait a couple minutes after paying. She even gave me a frequent visitor card. Get 10 drinks, get the 11th free! The cookies and cream was good, but the java chip was even better. Nicely blended, cool and refreshing on this warm afternoon. Yom Yom Yom Yom. It hit the spot! Welcome to Pelham BC!

When I arrived, there was at least seven cars in front of me, which was a good sign. The drive-through is a little narrow. You order through one window and then you pick up on the other side of the window. I ordered an iced rush-hour coffee and after lighthouse which I got. The consistency was creamier than I would've liked other iced coffees. I've had are more liquidy. It was good. It wasn't the best. I probably will be back to try the other different flavors. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Besides the drive-through you can also walk up and get coffee. This is right in front of the Pelham library which is nice because before or after you go the library can get you a little treat.

Seating: Both inside and outside seating. Great for groups and patio seating outside to keep you dry. Vibes: It's in a plaza, maybe 10 minutes away from Downtown Birmingham. The plaza consists of restaurants, a gym, and a grocery store. The spot itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming. A great place to hang out with friends or be friends. FOOD: Peppermint Boba (Recommend) A seasonal drink that was a pleasant delight. The peppermint wasn't too strong, it was well balanced with milk and the boba was chewy. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! The store opened and there was a rush of 3 customers. The kid in front took care of it well. TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Great! This is a solid enough representation of boba so it's glad to be shared here in the Dirty South! The prices are reasonable, food is delicious, and I appreciated the range/variety they provided. For those craving a boba fix, be sure to check this place out! Shoutouts to Ashley and Tam Duong for bringing this delight to Alabama and best wishes to new owner, Hugo Anguiano, and his team on this business. On my last two visits, I added the peach-infused cold foam, and it takes the drink to another level. The flavors pair perfectly, and it's quickly become one of my favorite coffee drinks. The café itself is a great place to relax or get some work done. It's bright without feeling harsh, and there's plenty of seating, including both comfortable lounge-style chairs and standard tables and chairs. I've never had trouble finding a spot. The staff has been friendly on every visit, and my drinks have always come out quickly. I haven't had the chance to try the food yet, but based on my experience so far, I definitely plan to. If the drinks are any indication, I'm looking forward to seeing how the food measures up!

I was torn between the seasonal banana bread latte, Arabian sands latte or the fan fav orange apeel latte. Staff suggested Arabian or Orange so I chose to go with a hot middle eastern spiced treat. You're given a number once you order, grab a seat at an open table/couch/side bar and it will be brought out to you once ready. There's a water, napkin, utensil, etc area readily available. The Arabian Sands has a light presence of cardamom and a hint of brown sugar sweetness. I would order this again, however, I'm looking forward to trying the Orange Apeel next. For a quick snack, I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Nice portion size. Came out warm. Left nothing to be desired from a classic combination. Be sure to place your dishes in the "dirty dishes" bin before leaving. The shop was clean and they had several patrons who appeared to be regulars. Wi-Fi worked great (no lag). Perfect space for a meeting, get together, study place, reading a book, etc. They even have a Popbar connected that serves a variety of popsicles/frozen treats. Fun frozen desserts and gelato on a stick. You can order these treats in a variety of ways plus add toppings. I'll be sure to try when I want something sweet. Highly recommend stopping by Baba Java/Popbar if in the area or near another location.

What makes it even sadder in the case of Santos, is they tried to make the exterior a little more enjoyable by putting some nice tables and even a swing outside. Sadly, without any plants separating the area from the parking lot, the entire vibe of this coffee shop, both looking out from inside and sitting outside is not that great. But, vibe aside, let's talk about how it got here. Santos is a family owned small chain. The main owner, Wendy Madden, opened the first coffee shop in 1993 in Tuscaloosa and since expanded into Santos Coffee we know today. The establishment pays homage to Guatemalan saints and ancestral lands where coffee is sourced from, from family's original plantations. The beans are roasted in Birmingham after being imported from Guatemala. The coffee is absolutely excellent here. Seriously, a very tasty latte. Oddly, they do not have an option to get it in a mug, so there is no way to avoid the plastic coating and the flimsy paper cups. Also there wasn't even a design on top of the latte...but ok, maybe that's slightly picky to highlight. Thus, Santos as a whole is a good coffee shop for to go orders. With excellent coffee quality, this is where they really shine. With that said, the vibe and serving methods need work.
