We were drawn to this company because they offered faster dry time and ability to stay in the basement while they worked. We should have done much more research. It has only been 2 1/2 years and the floors have non-removable stains, and plenty of scratches/dings. While the finish on our old floor stood up for a much longer period of time, I was totally disappointed with the continued poor performance of this floor work. And, please keep this in mind, upon leaving, SVB gave us an entire BONA kit for care of wood floors. About 8 months ago I called SVB and requested that they come out and give me some reason for the floor performance being so poor. They prodded around and said that the stains were not able to be lifted. AND THEY ARE VERY NOTICABLE. The representative asked what I used to clean the wood floors. I told him I was using the BONA products that had been left when the floor was completed. The representative said, that this product use would void my guarantee or any warranty. So now, 2 1/2 years down the road I have an expensive refinished floor that looks just about as bad as the old one. I do not recommend this dealer for floor finishing. They may have groovy equipment, but their process and support are sorely lacking.

We were very impressed with their dust control system, as there was almost zero dust left for us to clean afterwards. There was a very minor hiccup that resulted in them coming back out to spot-fix a few areas, but they responded quickly, and the floors look beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone interested in refinishing your wood floors.

He was transparent and honest about the work and pricing. They aren't the cheapest but I wouldn't feel comfortable with cheap foundation work after seeing shoddy DIY jobs while we were house hunting. Work was fantastic, not a single problem. Rodolfo the tile setter is more of an artisan than just a tile guy. His work is precise, meticulous and at the end of the day absolutely beautiful and this little project turned out the same as 5 years earlier. When I called to tell his supervisor of my satisfaction and how good I thought Rodolfo was, even the supervisor remembered me from 5 years earlier. When a company has people that remember you down to the level that he was able to tell me it was a black and white kitchen and a downstairs bathroom, I got to give them a big thumbs up. That is a company that, in my opinion, is worth doing business with. I wish I had more tile work to be done; I would and have highly recommend SBJ Installers to anyone based on Rodolfo. Cannot say enough good things about him.

They were the contractor for The Home Depot liberty MO for hardwood floor installation. The first…read moredate they gave me installation couldn't be done because of the moisture in the hardwood. For the next two week I tried to get a new date for installation, but despite leaving several messages they never called me back. They were deliberately ignoring me as they had my number, messages, but refused to give me a call to reschedule a new date for installation. In the end, I had to get a refund from The Home Depot and find a new installer on my own. Avoid them at any cost.

Cabinets are still unstained and the drawer glides on the drawer underneath gas top broke about a month after installation. The 2 doors that open against the oven and fridge enclosures bang because of poor design and I had to pay another electrician to wire all the outlets because it was not done even though I paid Chris Reyes(the owner) up front for it. He never showed my his Insurance I asked for it several times and another contractor came in to replace all the moulding which was a different wood than I had ordered and because of all the knots in the wood(different grade than I paid for) I cannot stain it it has to be painted because of the imperfections in the lower quality wood. Poor workmanship and the bar cabinets had to taken down and shimmed because of the huge gap left by Chris's team it wasn't uneven as they claimed. A mess simply a huge mess and I after $20,000+ I don't have the kitchen completed even now no warranty on the granite as he guaranteed they did not finish because of incompetence and did not complete on time it was a month later. Very sad business.
