Our contractor has used SCI for a small countertop project for us. We have had continual delays and reschedules. It's been ridiculous.

I felt a little guilty wandering in there with no intention to buy a new model kitchen for my home…read more(I'm sorry, but what 20 year old can do that in this lifetime?! Some I'm sure, but no one I want to know...) I live for model kitchen stores (like Kitchens by Kleweno is Westport) but my visits are no less sincere than a little girl playing dress up. I clearly can't afford a dazzling silver modern Manhattan kitchen - but in Kansas I can look at a few and dream can't I? I was greeted by an older man who showered me with thick kitchen design magazines (thanks for the coffee table reads) and then he told me I could take a look around. I appreciated how he gave me space to wander - not like those damn Hallmark women that would rather claw onto your shoulder and be carried with you through the store like a black-feathered crow. I couldn't steal a stove or anything, so there honestly was no need to 'keep an eye on the kid.' And for the next twenty minutes, in the lull of the elevator music, I drifted from kitchen set to kitchen set - each one invoking a different emotion in me, a different story told. The first kitchen was like the playboy's serious no-frills kitchen complete with hard stainless steel appliances, dark wooded cabinetry and even darker tiled walls - it was masterfully designed - but I'm not a playboy (I thought it was funny how they added little frills like the SKYY vodka and martini glasses filled with crystal - it was so me - kidding). Other kitchens were more Johnson County-approved, with softer woods and cabinetry, spring greens and fall oranges and colorful vases and plate-ware. Once I had looked through the eight or nine sets they had built (the owner I had talked to in the entry and his wife), I looked through a large collection of posters they had printed out describing the work they do and it sounded so interesting - all of the broadened design that they incorporate. Of course, I thought - in Kansas? How surprisingly forward of this place...they do kind of fool you with a title like "Classic Kitchens" because that's only the half of it. I looked through their work of contemporary and metropolitan kitchens as well as American and European traditional kitchens. Kitchens for beach homes with waterfront views and kitchens for a wine connoisseur and hundreds more I will not bore you to write about - but it was fascinating to look though. When I asked the man if he had a pamphlet about the different styles I might take home with me - he pulled out an actual book and told me it would cost $5. I thought it was a joke and laughed - but he was serious and felt bad about sticking me with a cost, so instead he gave me more free magazines to take home. Sweet, sweet man! So, I left with his wife's business card - and falsely made him believe I would discuss 'my homes kitchen redecoration' with my father - LIES (I'm awful) but otherwise just too poor to walk into a store like that. To be fair, CK offers two lines of design - one higher end and one less expensive option - and both still too much for me. Some day...sigh.

I attempted to fix the problem by adjusting the flow adustment in the valve, but to no avail. I began thinking that our hot water heater was going out. I called MK&B and talked to Al, the owner, and he came by that evening to check it out. ( I live close to him on his way home) and the next day he called to tell me he would have to order a new valve. ( be a few days to a week) Well about 2 days later on a Saturday morning he called to tell me he had the part and he could come by to install it if convienient time for me. I told it was but I kinda expected one of the people that works for him to come by and install the valve. I got to the house and Al was there to do the work, himself. Al proceeded to take things apart when all of a sudden, he said let me try this instead. Low and behold his sudden epithany, worked. Mind you he came by after bussiness hours, ordered and recieved part, and came by on a Saturday to do the work himself. All said and done I asked what do I owe you? He said " nothing , just write me a review on yelp, if would please". So I am with pleasure. Thank you Al and Mission Kitchen and Bath personnel for a job well done. They will stand behind you with their word. Highly recommended.

They cleaned up after themselves each day before leaving for the day. Travis and Cole were the project managers for our bathroom remodel and did a great job of keeping us informed about what was going to happen each day and who was going to be here on the job site. Great customer service. Anthony the owner of KC Bathroom Remodeling was always available if I had any questions or concerns. Anthony even came over on a Saturday morning to look at an issue I had with the tile. We worked with Amy the designer. She was great to work with. She helped us pick out tile, shower doors, fixtures, lights, and even paint colors. Amy had some great suggestions for us. The painting crew did an excellent job. KCBR even hired a cleaning lady to come clean my bathroom when the job was completed. I would strongly recommend KC Bathroom Remodeling. They were great to work with, very nice and clean. Great customer service.

Every piece they have is quite unique and fits your everyday needs. All the designs are simple, sleek, and in neutral shades, and that's something I truly adore!!! The staff is not very welcoming sometimes..at least that's how I felt but they are usually friendly and polite. Tip - If you're looking to buy a coffee machine, they do offer coffee samples for some machines like Jura or Nespresso. The ground floor has kitchen pots and pans, appliances, cutlery, and dinnerware, while the upstairs floor is more focused on furniture shopping. I have visited this store numerous times and gotten gifts for a lot of friends as well - each one of my friends said that they are of good quality and are long lasting. The kitchen pieces and furniture are all wonderful looking but customer service was one of the worst. They gave me plates and bowls that I took home and checked the quality after, which half were defective with nicks and bad finish to where you can see the base material. Their policy was that once the sticker is taken off, they can't do anything about it. But instead of being sorry or offering an alternative solution, they just laughed it off and left. Trash. Other than that, the only reason I saved it at 2 stars was the curbside pick up. The gentlemen was really kind and helpful, much better than the rude manager of the store. Price wise, the dinnerware are pretty affordable and decent.
