I've enjoyed walking around these shops for 30 years or more. Yes we like going more off season because the crowds are gone but sometimes we they aren't bad on season this is not one of those times. CoVID is not keeping the kids away!! All the shops have the same tourist crap shirts and Knickknacks but I still like walking around. The shops are trying to do there best but just walking around shop to shop there is absolutely NO social distancing and barely anyone was wearing a mask. Big groups of kids are walking around all over the place only a few wearing masks. To be clear when I say kids they look to be ages 15 - 20. It's extremely hard to avoid them or walk around them, there where way to many to avoid. So we left and I would NOT go back until after this crap is over. If kids can hang out in (NOT wearing masks) big groups of 10 to 20 kids all summer long then why is there such concern with them going to school???? At least the schools will make them wear a mask while in class! A group is a group!

Nice collection of small shops and some eateries. Located right next to the amusements and water park on LBI.

Very unique store at Schooners Wharf

What a cute place along the seaside for a little shopping…read more It's across the parking lot from a entertainment waterpark. This little shopping village Had a variety of shops. A pet supply shop, freshly made fudge shop, a bookstore, a Christmas themed store, all sorts of beachy themed housewares and jewelry and comfortable hygge style clothing. Since New Jersey the kind of state where you really should make sure you keep a handy collapsible shopping bag in your prayers in case you shop. There were some lovely foldable shopping bags and I bought a bunch of them because not only do I wanna keep them in my prayers but I wanted to gift some of these as well. They were very adorable. They had cat themed and nature themed and I really like the nature themed ones. It was an enjoyable shopping village. Nice to get steps here. And then take a walk over to the beach for some photos. I would come back again

There are also some very unique places to grab a bite to eat or get a coffee. They layout of the place is very interesting and it's a lot of fun to walk around and take it all in. Stores like the LBI Book Swap, the surf shop, the olive oil shop, etc. are all great spots to grab a gift for someone in your life. This place is a stone's throw away from Ship Bottom Brewing and Fantasy Island, as well. Recommended!

If I could leave negative stars I would. Went in the store to browse with my family. Instead of…read morejust greeting us and letting us shop, the associates kept bothering us and making unwanted comments. My 13 year old chose not to wear a coat. They wouldn't stop talking about it. The older associate then commented loudly that my daughter had no meat on her bones. It is totally unacceptable to comment on another person's body, or what they are wearing. Nobody asked for her opinion. It was not at all appreciated, it was offensive. Extremely unprofessional. We were all so uncomfortable that we left immediately. Body shaming is never acceptable! Especially on international women's day. After more than 30 years shopping here I will never return.

I should have written this review long ago but this year I needed to go to Hands more then usual…read more The service is superb! I could not for the life of me figure out why I couldn't connect my power washer, any of it. I went to Hands out of frustration (even though I got it at Home Depot) the fellow working clearly knew what he was doing and spent probably 10 minutes and told me the connections were a little worped and rusted. Instead of trying to sell me a new one, he taught me that adding a little lubraderm to the joints would make them fit. And he assembled it for me. He wouldn't even take a tip, saying they are not that kind of store and asked me to add a little to the plate at church. Another time I needed some replacement screws and couldn't figure out how to match them exactly. A different person spent 5 minutes not just finding the right screw for me but showing me how to use the equipment they had at the store to do it myself. Another time I needed a replacement outside table. Yet another person spent a lot of time with me listening to what I wanted and my time frame (fast) to try to find me a table that had in stock. Yes, this would have been a pretty big sale for them, but he was really trying to understand my needs and alternatives to make me happy with whatever I purchased. Always friendly, epic service!
