I was in Atlantic City visiting some visiting family who were staying at the nearby Resorts Casino…read moreand Hotel and since the gallery is located inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino I had to pay a visit to the place as well. My goal was to find items related to bands that I follow for my PiercingMetal adventures and lucky for me, Paul Stanley of KISS had recently done a showcase of his work and many of the paintings were on display. The courteous staff allowed me to photograph them and I will be adding them to the website posts. I also was able to see the works by Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart and Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen and everything was awesome to behold in person. Of course, fine art by such notables is way out of my price range but I do appreciate it and it was wonderful to see. The gallery itself is not a huge space as its located in part of the hotel but believe me they fit plenty of work in there for you to enjoy if you are just a looker or someone who is entertaining a purchase. Hopefully I will get to return at some time in the future and see some different stuff. Be sure to visit if you should be in the region. Its time well spent. Then go gamble a little bit at the Hard Rock.

Fantastic gallery! We have purchased several pieces from this location and have worked with Ally…read more She is so knowledgeable and ready to help us/ answer any questions we have. She's such a sweetheart and happy to help you whether you are just looking or making a purchase. We've attended a couple of artist shows here (Godard and Fazzino) and they were very well run! (Discounts/ specials on the artists work, meet and greet etc.) Nicely done! They have a great assortment of art on hand and are able to easily order you any not currently in the gallery. I especially love the back display room where you can have specific pieces pulled so you can make your selections without distraction. It's a great gallery with lots of fun pop art. Hard Rock is the perfect location for it! I would definitely suggest stopping in and looking at what they have. They also have an email list and Facebook page to keep track of upcoming events and offers. Enjoy! :D

This shop has always looked interesting to me as we drove past it several times in the last few…read moredays, but despite staying on the island for the summer for several years, I don't remember ever going inside. It's been around for a while so I decided it was finally time that I stopped in to see what was in there. We walked in and no one else was in the store. A much older woman at the front counter seemed to be the only employee. She didn't say hello or even look up from what she was doing when we came in. As I got closer to her, I said hello and then she said hi. To me, it's rude for employees to not even say a quick, "Hi." when a customer walks into their business. It doesn't take much effort. They had a varied selection of assorted decor, clocks, framed prints by local artists, outdoor furniture, lamps, LBI related decor, rugs, and plentiful tchotchkes which were fun to look at, albeit overpriced. Some of the things were unique and looked handmade, plus a lot of made in China items too. It was pleasant to browse there. We were never asked if we needed help with anything or if we had any questions. The woman employee was too busy complaining about her long drive due to construction which backed up traffic on route 72 and the bridge. I didn't buy anything, although I was tempted by a few items. The high prices plus the indifference of the lone employee, made it easy for me to walk out empty-handed. I doubt I'll be back.
