I thought a store that was for pets and gardens wouldn't have mo dog's favorite treats, but I was amazed to be wrong! I found so many treats, much more than those dirty Petco stores! And it was extremely clean! My dog loves pet stores (she's a social butterfly) and met a ton of friends. The garden side had gorgeous plant, but ended up getting some basil to grow in the window. I wish I had a backyard as they had beautiful furniture at great prices. Can't wait to go back!

Some of their products are high in price and some are priced wicked good! The value and high quality of their products and plants are terrific and I've never had any plants die on me, ever! They have a great return policy and as an added bonus, they have a rewards policy. If you sign up for texts and emails, you'll receive coupons. They also carry beautiful perennials, annuals and trees So many beautiful decorative items for your home and garden! I love to poke around at Smithland. I always find something that I love!

This past Summer we bought perennials that were in great shape and decently priced. We have now come to he chicken keepers and have had a number of questions which the staff has been helpful with, most especially Steve. He's been a life saver, literally, a time or two. This past week a staff member, I wish I'd gotten her name, helped with feed info and now I'll be switching to their brand and buying that more locally also which is an important thing for me to encourage local workers, farms, companies. Soaps are divine! Cheeses are yummy! And some nifty wild bird accessories I haven't seen elsewhere that I've purchased and the birds have thanked me by eating from them :)

If u look at my my history, you will see that is true. I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience at this establishment. We brought our labradoodle to a location in CT after months of no grooming due to covid -19. If you know labradoodles, u know they have very long hair which easily Gets matted, deep under the furry exterior. That location wound up having to shave very low to the base of the fur, but our dog still came out handsome as can be; fluffy tail and face, but low shave on the body. (As shown in the image provided) After waiting a few months for dog works to open, because it is much closer...our dog once again needed a groom desperately. We brush him daily - but we're advised by dog works that, that is not enough. (Due to the information they provided and friendliness, I gave them two stars) however our dog once again needed to be cut short. The problem is, when we saw our dog after already paying and generously tipping, he didn't even look like himself. My family owns a alpaca farm, I would much relate the shaving job to that of how we shave our alpacas once a year; uneven and rushed. All that is left fluffy on our dog is a portion of his tail. Our dog is still the most handsome boy but they took away his character. Will not be returning.

I was excited since I needed a groomer for my two Furr-babies. They are brothers but one takes after their dad who happens to be a Maine Coon, so needing a local place to cut their claws and shave Louie, the Maine coon of the two, was essential. I called and spoke to the owner, Nicole, who was such a pleasure and made sure to ask me the right questions as to what I needed and wanted for Louie so she could book enough time for the appointment. I also learned that she only has one animal at a time in the grooming room so as to not stress the animals out anymore than necessary, which I LOVED! When my appointment day came, they were very sensitive to the fact that my boys DO NOT like going into their carriers so they ride free in the car. I bring the carriers in with me because they are extremely willing to go into the carriers knowing they will be going home in them. Nicole was very understanding and since all Huey Hefner needed done was his claws, he was brought in first. By the time I went back out to the car to get Louie Dewey, Huey was all set and in his carrier! So she immediately got down to business with Louie and made quick work of him. I was so impressed with how fast she was because she came out to help other customers along with telling me how well he was doing. I will recommend Nicole, and of course her mom, (which I'm soooo embarrassed to admit I don't remember her name....and SHE even gave Louie a smiley face sticker because of how well he did!), to anyone and everyone! Nicole's pricing is UNBEATABLE also! Tipping her 20% on top of the cost was STILL under what I was paying elsewhere. THANK YOU Nicole for taking care of my boys!

I love that she only does one dog at a time, so no dog is in a kennel after a bath and waiting for their turn to get their haircut. Leah was so relaxed when I picked her up and instead of rushing to the door to get out, she was strolling around, so comfortable and stress-free. And her price is very reasonable! I'm very happy with K-9 & Felines, knowing Leah will always be in good hands and home quickly!
