This is by far the best stl grocer. From florals to pharmacy, this grocery store has it for good prices. They do partner with other local brands like city wide, clementines, ted drewes, and old vienna to name a few favorites. The deli is great but they close too early for my liking. If you make it early try the different sides if you pick up a rotisserie chicken. They do have butchers there to help you with fresh portions but be sure to ask if there is frozen variety just in case fresh won't work for your shopping trip. They have a wonderful gluten free section with pantry items like pancake mix to pasta but they also have a freezer section with desserts, entrees, and pizzas. The staff is always so friendly and they are disability friendly when hiring so that always makes me feel seen. The staff is always so friendly and helps me find what I need and help score deals on the mobile app. They can help you get a rug doctor too in case you need a deep clean at home. Besides finding local gems, the produce is always fresh and lasts a week or so in the fridge which is great in case you forget the lettuce in the bag behind your milk! The prices are great too and often run 2 for $5 deals and reduced prices for their branded products that stand up to the main brands. This place is very accessible so always a plus. Getting used to my new schnucks location... I love that every time I buy eggs, they always double check to make sure none of them are broken before I leave. No other schnucks has done that for me and I really appreciate that. I'm taking out one star because I had come here on a mission to get their chicken wings from the bar a few weeks ago, but everything was cleared out and it was still pretty early in the day. I was really disappointed because it was all I was craving that day. Other than that they always have whatever I need. I will say that when they changed the price for a 10lb bag of potatoes to $10.99 they were psycho, but when I went back today, it was nice to see they brought it back down to $6.99. You would see her walking all around the store helping different customers while I was grocery shopping. It was so refreshing and so kind to see Manager helping out her staff so much. They have wine tastings and different things. I know my neighborhood quarterly meetings are held there. They also have a pharmacy. This Scnhucks is so lovely, it has an old-new feel. Not super chic like Culinaria downtown but some of the same amenities; balcony seating for you to grab a bite and eat on site. They'll cook your purchased fresh fish for you while you wait. They serve Kaldi's coffee as well. read more

This is one of my favorite Schnucks so I am there at least once a week. I went in about a week and a half ago on a Saturday and spoke to the florist manager named Brittany and I told her I needed to order some Mother's Day flowers and have them delivered and she said no problem come back on Wednesday, May 5 before 4:00. I got there at 3:45 and another employee told me that she was already gone for the day and I should come back at 6 AM the next day. So at this point it is too late to order Mother's Day flowers and they had no other employees in the florist department before a holiday. They have lost my business! read more

Normally I wouldn't post a review I'm a very kind, patient person however every time I go into this store on Kehrs, the staff is rude. Heaven for bid if you come into a state where are you recycle bags and you try to use your own bags, they talk to you like you're a child and you need to be sitting in a time out. Stopped here tonight to pick up some items for dinner tomorrow night. There was a really funky smell in the meat department that really turned my stomach. I don't know what it was but I could not linger anywhere near that half of the store. Overall, this is a pleasant grocery store to shop. I was happy to hear that the newest Schnucks would be down the street. The produce is well laid out and supplied. The meat counter is also well stocked and like the rest of the staff, friendly and knowledgeable. The rest of the grocery store is like a grocery store. I am getting use to the store layout, and find the island of pre-sliced deli meats refrigerator cases a bit of an oddity that is becoming common in the area. The pharmacy is rather fast and friendly, requiring 10 minutes to fill a new Rx, giving me time to walk around to the cafe area. The cafe area has an extra entrance - not sure why. There is second story seating (which I have yet to check out) like the Mezz in the Deirberg's store in Des Peres off Manchester (http://www.yelp.com/biz/dierbergs-des-peres). I was able to resist getting something from the cafe but their prices seemed reasonable, with a large selection of the standard fares. I could foresee using their cafe foods for when I do not feel like making dinner but I do not anticipating going to Schnucks to just grab a quick bite unless I am hungry while grocery shopping and want to stop the hunger-impulse purchases. This new, clean, and friendly Schnucks has become my go-to for the standard grocery stores and local pharmacy (when I am not going to TJ's or Aldi's). read more

I Just go here for the basics. It is convenient and quick. The salad kits and milk usually have an expiration date in the near future. It's a small store so I don't tend to linger too long, and it's not crowded. It is not the place to go if you are looking for specialty items or expecting lots of choices. read more

My family goes to this store at least a couple of times a week. It took them a little while to find their groove, but we love this place now. The staff works very hard to make sure you find everything you need and are always helpful. It also seems like it is the same 8-10 people working here, but that is probably because of the times I go in. They don't do the live music any longer, which doesn't affect me one way or another, but some people mentioned it in other posts so I thought I would point this out. Overall I am very thankful this store is here. I really like the staff, the selection is wide (but honestly not very deep, but it is a small store) and the convenience can't be beat! Good niche' store, but parking comes at a premium. I'm what is an already small parking lot, we witnessed at least a half dozen groups of students walk over from the high school across the street to get in their cars. I am from out of town and we do not have this chain in my area. I wish we did. They have a great selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices. They have excelent produce but I found their meat section to be lacking. If you are familiar with Publix this store is a step up from that. I work at a competitor so I don't frequent other grocery stores often just because its easier to shop at my own. However, this place is close and has some cool this location only deals. They don't always have a huge selection of everything but the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Their produce is always nice and they have the basics. We really like this Schnuck's. It has everything, including a decent sized bakery and selection of prepared foods, and their produce is great. But they're not huge like some other new stores, so it doesn't feel overwhelming. Purchased ground beef at this store on Saturday June 30th. Put it in the fridge. When I went to cook it the next day, July 1st, and went to the fridge, the meat was gray colored.
