Hands down the best CVS in the area. The pharmacy hours do not often change so you are guaranteed to be able to get your meds most hours of the day. They also have a large team so it goes by fast unless you hit the lunch or after work rush lines. The store is great and often participates in the cvs item sales so buy the extra and get it free or 50 percent off. They have everything from sunscreen to liquor! Join the care rewards program and get an extra $10 off each month which comes in handy if you buy skin care products, baby essentials, or stocking up on allergy and wound care items. The staff is great and always helpful. This location is 100% disability friendly and easily accessible. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Ellisville, Missouri

The pharmacy staff is always friendly and helpful. Filling a prescription is easy and quick.

And now I have some pocket money. I had spent my last cash at the airport and wanted to have a few bucks in case I need them. And while I'm here, I picked up a small bottle of contact lens fluid. Yes, this is a full service pharmacy and it's in good condition. CVS does a great job of keeping their stores very uniform - once you're inside it could be Fort Myers or Fort Bragg but no, this is Ellisville. I have chronic pain and I take pain pills every day so I can get through the day with the pain, my doctor put in a prescription to CVS for my pain medication 90 tablets for the month CVS turned around and only dispense 60 of them saying that their policy is to only dispense 60 pain pills now and not the 90 that the doctor prescribed that I've been taking this medicine for years and just to top it off when I talk to the pharmacist she was as rude as crap and didn't explain that it was a new CVS's policy just said I couldn't do it, it wasn't explained to me until I actually visited CVS and confronted them about the issue. so I would stay away from CVS. They're probably the worst pharmacy around and who gives them the right to change my doctors prescription My recommendations DO NOT USE CVS read more

Your pharmacy landed my sister in the hospital because you could not be bothered to make sure her dosage was correct. ON MOOD STABILIZERS. UNACCEPTABLE!!! This pharmacy will be reported and should be shut down. Check your prescriptions and take them elsewhere! read more

Maddison, the manager in the pharmacy department is incredibly rude. I was in line for 20 minutes with a screaming baby while she helped the car two in front of me for at least 15 minutes. My amoxicillin was not ready when I got up to the window, but it takes about 30 seconds to make/mix. After that long, wait there were eight cars behind me, and she told me I had to either bring in my crying baby or go get the starter line again rather than let me just wait there for a minute or two. We literally got a text about 15 seconds after I pulled away that my prescription was ready. Everyone else there was very nice, but Madison is a reason I will not be using this business ever again. read more

Apparently the pharmacy staffs lunch is more important than customers prescriptions. What if it's an urgent medication? Let's think about that. Could we stagger staff lunches? Maybe hire a few more folks to cover lunch? Lots of folks looking for good jobs. Maybe even allow lunch for 1/2 hour like so many other companies. Just all ideas for CVS. Remember if you need a drug between 1-2pm, you'll be waiting until after they eat. Not the fault of the current staff. They're good people. It's the fault of CVS. We can do better. Walgreens allows folks lunch, even the single pharmacist for 1/2 hour, but you can still at least get your prescription during lunch hours. What critical companies close for an hour lunch? Not many that I can think of. read more

I rarely have an opportunity to shop at a CVS. Simply because, there isn't one near my home or work. So, I have become a Walgreen's man. I even have stock in Walgreen's. However, I am here to say, this CVS impressed me. I enjoyed the lay-out of the store. Not all the aisles were going the same vertical or horizontal direction, some were off to an angle. It actually made browsing an adventure. The staff working the floor were helpful. One gentleman greeted me and asked if I needed assistance and I told him I was good. As, I browsed more, I probably had that lost look on my face and he asked again if I needed assistance. I told him, like I tell so many other retail associates, I can do more damage shopping alone. He assured me if I needed help, to let him know. I had browsed enough and couldn't find the last item I needed. So I broke down and asked him for assistance. Instead of telling which aisle it was in, he took the time to walk me over to the area I needed. I told him, he could of just told me the aisle. He responded, that's not how we do things here. Wow! Now that is some good customer service. Checking out, I had a very personable "older lady". (I only called her out as "older", due to a previous reviewer saying she was rude) She knew the lady ahead of me as a regular and asked how she was doing after a illness. Nice touch in customer service. As she rang me out, she made small talk and had me on my way. Chances of returning? - When I'm in the area, yes. When: February 13, 2019 Why: Stop before dentist appointment read more

Disappointed with this minute clinic. I was 10 minutes late for my appointment, so the nurse instructed me that I needed to reschedule, because she was going to lunch. Not a great way to treat your customers. read more

I would not go to this pharmacy unless you absolutely had to!! Rude staff and they make it very hard to get simple prescriptions picked up. My doctor had to call them 3 times to call it in because they were confused. read more

Tammy at the pharmacy interrupts people when they are talking and has no customer service. No hello how can I help. When I gave her dollars she put change in the drawer, pushed it out. Didn't ask if I had any questions about the medicine, didn't say goodbye, was just on her phone. Terrible customer service. read more

I stopped at CVS because I had heard they have a section of K-Beauty products now. If you don't know K-Beauty = Korean. So they do have it but it's a pretty slim selection. I ended up with a lip gloss in a cupcake container from that section and then picked up a few other little things I needed around the store. I wouldn't rush back for the brands and selection they carry on K-Beauty but I always like a trip to CVS. read more

This is not my local CVS, but they had an appointment available, so I drove out there. Crystal, the nurse practitioner, was amazing! She was knowledgeable, concerned and very polite. The young woman in the pharmacy was also a pleasure to deal with. I felt that they really cared. Thanks! read more

To use this pharmacy only use the app. They do not pick up the phone to reach anyone at the pharmacy at all. In the store, they are very accommodating, drive through full at all times. Still with the extra pass, scrips go to store pick up instead delivery. read more

I utilized the CVS Minute Clinic for the first time. My doctor could not accommodate me for weeks so I took this as the quickest option. Check in was easy, my wait time was less than five minutes. The nurse practitioner was very professional and thorough. She diagnosed me, gave me the option of utilizing any pharmacy of my choice. I choose to use CVS since I was there. By the time I walked over to the pharmacy counter my prescriptions were ready. I was very impressed. By utilizing the Minute Clinic I saved time and effort. Being sick I didn't want a long wait and just wanted to sleep. This process allowed me to get an entire dose of meds in for my ear & sinus infection before traveling again and feeling better sooner. I would definitely utilize this process again. read more

All CVS locations I have been to always *feel* clean. I think it's the fact it doesn't look sterile with its' carpet, but I always feel comfortable going into the store. I always get greeted at the door and everyone is very nice. The store never is very busy when I am there, but they always open up another register even if I am waiting for less than a minute. If only there were more locations opening closer to my house, I would do my prescriptions here... The only store that sells those fun Peas cold compresses. Need I say more read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS PHARMACY WITH YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS... They did not have stock of my last prescription and refused to fill it for 7 days past its due date. They were very indignant, stating that they simply did not have the inventory and would not be able to fill it. I never had this problem with Schnucks Pharmacy. Sorry CVS, but you suck... Your patients need their meds. We can't just go without because you run out... read more

Recently, because of a bad Walgreens experience, I had my doctor route my prescription to the CVX Ellisville MO location. This was on Thursday, 11/4 and it it now Sunday, 11/7 and I am still trying to obtain my prescription. We call and are placed on an interminable hold while being informed of how efficient they are with their Covid19 vaccinations yet after ringing and ringing absolutely no one picks up the phone to assist the patient. My wife has made two trips to the pharmacy to no avail and has had her phone number taken by a staff member to be contacted when the prescription is ready and, as the song goes, it's like spittin' in the wind! I thought Walgreens customer service was bad until I encountered this outfit, my God I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THEM FOR ANYTHING, THEY ARE TERRIBLE!! read more

This has got to be the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. I will never go back to another CVS regarding pharmaceuticals; it's Target or Walgreens from here on out. Not only did the multiple pharmacists make fun of my last name (loud enough for me and other customers to hear), they also constantly made un-tasteful jokes about how I thought they were crazy even though I had not spoken a word. Unbelievably disrespectful! I'm not even going to bother calling the store manager because I can guarantee nothing will be done about the matter. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. read more

Terrible service. Staff is very lazy and they never answer the phone. Inconsiderate and lackadaisical. Not worth any of your business. Go to one of the Walgreens nearby instead. read more

Dropped off prescription and they said they would call and that it should be an hour. They forgot about it and never called. When I tried to call them 4 hours later, I waited at least 15min to talk with someone and they were confused bc script wasn't in system yet. Eventually they found the paper script and filled it. This place is just not worth the trouble, there r too many other pharmacies who want business to continue to patronize them. I will not be going back again read more

The manager of this pharmacy is flat out rude. So rude that I refuse to go to CVS for any of my prescriptions while I'm in town. I'm a CVS Caremark holder and he failed to tell me that my prescription would cost $98 before filling it. Although he apologized that didn't change the fact that it was $98! Next time enter a coupon for me to make up for such a big mistake. Luckily I was able to afford the prescription, but I recently found out that it would've been $27 with a CVS coupon!!! Also- I asked him a simple question about my prescription being cheaper elsewhere and he gave me no reaction. Just tried shooing me away. I didn't get his name but he seemed to be the one in charge based on his rude attitude and attire. Go to the Walgreens in Diergerbs Center right down the street. You'll be greeted with a much nicer attitude. read more

I always have issues with the Pharmacy here. Rude customer service, not getting my prescriptions ready in time, and bad info. I called yesterday to ask the pharmacist what type of allergy medication I could take while breastfeeding. One of the techs answered and when I asked her she just told me Zyrtec. FYI- you cannot take Zyrtec while breastfeeding. When I asked if she was sure rather than asking the pharmacist she just replied "yeah". I called a local Walgreens and luckily was helped by the pharmacist there. But this cvs supplying bad info on medications could have detrimental effects. read more

Do not use this pharmacy! Their employees are so shocking rude. There is always a very long wait which I could understand but the rudeness and absolute disrespect for customers cannot be tolerated. I had to call several times today to see if my prescription was ready because I need it for a medical procedure tomorrow and the man that answered the phone cut me off again and again. When I asked that he please be patient and let me speak without cutting me off he said well there are 5 other calls he needed to answer and he doesn't work in the pharmacy anyway so he had to cut me off so the call would be quicker. Are you kidding me? He was a grown man with no manners! And they didn't even have my prescription! I had to call my dr and ask that she move it elsewhere. I will never use this location. Changes need to be made with the staff. read more

CVS is typically good with prescriptions. I worked in a CVS Pharmacy while I was a student in college, so I understand what they deal with and how the process works. We had a situation where we needed a prescription filled somewhat urgently and it was 'on hold' at a store in Georgia (Which is Eastern Standard Time). It was around 7:15 (Central). The pharmacist was going to call the Georgia CVS that closed at 8PM Central and have the filed prescription transferred to the store here to be filled. Well, they didn't try calling until well after the store in Georgia had closed. We were then assured that they'd do it first thing in morning. We called them around noon the following day and the pharmacist said to give her about a half an hour, which means they still hadn't called to get the prescription transferred. It was finally transferred and filled later that day. I know they're sometimes busy, but the customer service was lousy. There was no offer to advance some of the medication or even an apology for the lack of urgency or thought when dealing with our rather simple request. read more

Retail store is great, pharmacy is beyond disappointing. They continue to fail to have prescriptions ready on time even after giving them a 3 hour time frame. After 3 or 4 times of failing to have our scripts ready when promised we are going back to Walgreens. CVS is more conveniently located but is totally unreliable in the pharmacy area. I would never suggest for anyone to use this location for scripts. read more

I picked up my prescription yesterday and when I got home I was checking it out and noticed that the medication was expired!!! Really??? No excuse. Luckily I had checked. This was not an inexpensive medication. No problem replacing, but I had to make a second trip. It's back to Walgreen's for me! read more

Sometimes when I'm lazy on a midnight run I go here instead of the Highlands Walmart. However I wish you had more options and were more competitive with the Walgreens nearby. And I wish you brought back the Dove truffles and the cherry Burt's Bees chapstick, which is my favorite and I bought it here first. read more

The older woman at the front check out was INCREDIBLY rude and not pleasant! Managers need to figure that out!

This cvs location has terrible service. Several times I have been there and when I went to check out, absolutely nobody was around. Every time I would wait at least five minutes before just giving up and going somewhere else. I even yelled "hello" and no one answered. What kind of business allows this behavior. If I could give 0 stars I would. You will receive MUCH better service at any of the surrounding Walgreens. read more

I recommend that you avoid this company - forever. They are overpriced, understaffed, and disorganized. As much as it pains me to say this - Wal-mart is a much better deal. Cheaper prices and a much wider selection. Not to mention that you don't have to play coupons games at Wal-mart and your receipt will be less than 11 feet long. Seriously, avoid CVS. read more
