This is a busy store on the weekends. There is plenty of parking that is spread out so it's easy to find a spot. The layout of the store is different than other stores I've shopped at. This location seems to have a really good selection of cheese. They have a lot of choices to make a nice charcuterie board. I was surprised how many plant-based options that they now stock. They are scattered throughout the store so you have to look for them. Prices are great and the produce looks nice. Bring a quarter for the grocery cart and bring your own bags so you don't have to buy them. read more

This is becoming one of my favorite Aldi locations. It's never crowded and the parking is ample. The employees are friendly and helpful. The inside and outside of the store is nicely maintained. The shelves and freezers are fully stocked and I love their "Aldi Finds" aisle. I have lately been on a Caesar salad kick. I've been grabbing bags of their Caesar salad kit in the orange bag for $2.79. They also have one in a green bag for $2.99. It comes with iceberg lettuce, parmesan cheese, croutons and of course dressing. It's pretty good and I get two servings. I also love their kale in a bag, cheeses and I found a new snack item for work. It's brown sugar sausage bites with cheese........so delicious!!! They have been having a nice variety of plants lately as well. This Aldi has a great variety of items!!! read more

I have shopped here many times. Today I tried using the self service. It did not work right. The cashier kept coming over and rudely insisted that it did. Then she double charged me for tomatos. I tried to ask her about it and she talked over me and would not listen to my question. The floor is always dirty with food on it. Another time a cashier ran over my foot with the cart. When I told her about it and said ow, she said nothing. Both cashiers old. The young ones are helpful and nice. read more

Aldi can do no wrong in my life...it's my go-to for all fresh produce and they usually have the cheapest eggs in town. Aldi is the brother of Trader Joe's; most people don't know this so keep it a secret lol. Therefore, you can find a lot of the same products (in different wrappings) here that you will find at TJ's. Anywho, the hummus is the best and cheapest also. Why go pay $5 at other larger grocers when you have an equal if not better selection for your hard earned dollars? (rhetorical) Specialty cheeses, sauces, baking goods, household products, patio furniture, fresh flowers, seasonings. You name it, Aldi likely has it. Now keep in mind Aldi is a small store so there will be some items the simply do not carry but if they do I guarantee you won't find it cheaper. I recently moved to Chesterfield and and started shopping at this Aldi's. It is super clean, neat and the shelves are well stocked. Everyone that works at this store has been super friendly and helpful. I had shopped at the Crestwood store, until about 2 years ago when the manager who kept the place in good condition left. I then went to the South Lindbergh store for a while and that was nice, but not the same. Then when I moved to Chesterfield, I started going to the Chesterfield store. I asked for the manager to tell him/her how impressed I was with the cleanliness and staff....and low and behold, it was Aubrey, the manager from the old Crestwood store that kept that store up so well! No wonder they moved her to the much larger and more impressive store. She is doing an amazing job and I am glad she is at Chesterfield. Kudos to the staff, too. They work hard and are very helpful!! read more

I'm really not an Aldi shopper. This was maybe the 4th time I've ever been in one but you know what? It's kind of a fun place. I think if you go in needing something specific you're not going to find it but if you go in with an open mind you might just end up with some interesting items. I got Freezer Pops for work, which was good. I also got a container of mini heirloom tomatoes. They look really good. A bag of shelled pistachios was $5 and some change. That's a pretty good deal. I'll be back and I'll have an open mind. I'll try and remember my 25₵ for the shopping cart! read more

I was amazed at the offerings and the prices. It was neat. It was clean. The aisles were unobstructed. The only brand names I recognized were Colgate and Oscar Meyer. But many, many products had familiar packaging . . . like cake and muffin mixes that looked like Duncan Hines. Just makes you think about what you're paying extra for . . . like, advertising. There's cookies, trail mix, beer, wine, canned and fresh vegetables, canned and fresh fruit, toothpaste and mouthwash, cereal, fresh baked goods, canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, frozen dinner mixes and all kinds of frozen things (like pizza), flour, sugar, ice cream and novelties, milk, fresh meat (I saw chicken and ground beef.), and electric fireplaces. Much, much more. I saw three kinds of ground beef: 80/20, 85/15 and 90/10. I could have stocked up for the week, but I just wanted to see what was in this place. It opened in early November 2011. Upon checkout (and I asked), the checkout guy said it's the "new model" of the Aldi store. I didn't buy enough to need a shopping cart, but I didn't see anybody depositing quarters anywhere. And you do have to bag your purchases . . . what the heck! I always have bags with me. And at Schnuck's and Dierberg's on self-checkout, I bag my own groceries anyway. I'm impressed. I got a quart of beautiful strawberries for $1.69, a pound of butter for $2.29 (unsalted was the same price), a bag of six bagels from the bakery (reminded me of the Thomas packaging) for $1.49 and a huge bundle of celery for $.99. Many employees were wearing their mask below their nose and let a woman walk around the store without a mask, despite masks being required in St. Louis County and the store itself. As a retail employee myself, I was absolutely horrified. The lack of care from employees was incredibly disappointing. I wish there was a way to flag this store for not enforcing covid restrictions. read more

Sorry. This market chain does not work for me. Nothing name brand. I have never shopped Aldi's before so I went in to check it out. Bought a bag of frito chips that were packaged much like Frito Lay. Price was exceptionally cheap. So was the product. Had a few and threw them away. Tasted horrible. I prefer a Dierbergs or Schnuks or Shop and Save. read more

The store was disgusting!! It appeared as if the floors haven't been mopped or cleaned in a very long time. Trash everywhere, including the cart collection area. Management was publicly shaming cashier in front of me, instructing her of what she was doing wrong. Came into town for a baseball tournament and was looking for a grocery store. Had never been into a place that had such a little selection and honestly nothing really worth buying. Went to Walmart instead which says a lot. Very grateful I have Kroger and Whole Foods back home to enjoy instead of this place. Will never visit and Aldi ever again. read more

Very clean, budget-friendly supermarket with consistently helpful staff members. I've done a few price comparisons between Aldi and Walmart. Aldi wins, hands-down, with frozen fruit, cereals, cracker variety packs and many more items. While I've hesitated to purchase fresh produce here, I know people that have and say that it is just fine. My weekly grocery trip consists of a stop at Aldi for few money-saving items. read more

Very impressed with the bathroom at Aldi's. It was very clean and had all modern solar powered facilities. I shop at this Aldi's as often as I can and they've always been very pleasant. One time I bought a wifi power outlet and j was a little hesitant to buy it from Aldi's but the cashier assured me they had a great return policy. I did return it about a month later and it was a piece of cake, just went to the cashier and she gave me a refund. Much easier than returning something to Walmart. Oh my gosh! Aldi! I'm sold! This place is amazing. Seriously, I've always been a Dierbergs shopper, but I've recently switched to buying the majority of.my groceries at Aldi and what a difference it has made! The first time I shopped here I had a cart about 3/4 full. I went up to the checkout dreading the bill and was shocked when the checker told me it would be $46. What?! The prices are so low. I'm a single mother, so my budget is very tight. Shopping here makes a big difference in the quality of food we can get. The checkers are SUPER fast and I've heard the company treats it's employees well, which is important to me. The only think I don't buy here is meat... I just think you shouldn't buy discounted meat. It seems a bit sketchy. But I do know people who regularly buy meat from them and I have heard it's fine. Anyway, this place is tops. read more
