There's plenty of options for fruits and vegetables, including organic, and the placards even say where they were harvested. There's bakery options, refrigerated options, and even Halloween decor being sold. They have a Halloween event for kids that's pretty popular as well. The staff are friendly enough, the reason I'm giving 4 stars is THIS PLACE IS OVERPRICED. Nobody wants to pay $9 for a tomato in this economy. Because of this, this is more of a "special occasion" place and not somewhere I would shop weekly.

I feel better going here than Kirkwood Farmer's Market because it's lesser known and the prices are cheaper. Don't get me wrong, I love both, but Roger's is cheaper and sometimes has even better looking vegetables. They have a pretty good selection of pumpkins; most are uniquely shaped/colored. Nice spot!

I was in St.Louis to attend a family celebration for my wife's aunt who recently passed. One thing we always enjoy is ooey gooey butter cake. Usually, my mother in law would buy it at the grocery store, but the store outsourced it recently, and it isn't as good. My brother in law stopped in here and got one for us. It was exactly what we like. We borrowed his car the day we were flying out and visited the store to get some to take home. They have these cute little 3oz cakes in tiny foil pans wrapped up nicely with a tiny plastic spoon. We ended up buying a bunch of those to share with folk back home. One time at the airport, the TSA agent told us that gooey butter cake and provel cheese are the most frequent items they see folks taking from St. Louis. We had a slight wait while the wonderful lady behind the counter was making a few more cakes. We ended up taking two frozen ones instead of waiting, but were there long enough to have a great visit with her. She is a friend of the owner. Sadly I didn't get her name. She made us feel at home in the store. As we were leaving, several other customers started coming in. The whole little shopping strip was busy. I had a really hard time backing out of my space in my brother in law's monsterously huge car.

The aisles are big enough to accommodate several carts. They don't have the annoying cart rack that other Aldis do - i appreciate it. That said, I saw some missing holes on shelves in need of a restock. I didn't find any great deals on anything, or anything in the non food aisle. I will come here again to shop, as it is nicer than some in the area.
