The veggies were crisp, and the pickle spears were nice, cool, and snappy. The chips are similar to Lay's, so they may be Lay's in the Schlotzky's package. The service, on the other hand, cashier, couldn't get the orders right. The guy in front of me got charged for 2 sandwiches but only wanted one, and he did the same to me, I ordered mixed 2, and he tried to charge me for 2 sandwiches. I wanted the original, but instead of salami, I asked for turkey, and he tried to charge me for extra meat! I also had to ask twice for black olives to be added. I came through the drive thru and from the start, the order taker was talking over me and and I got through the order and it was not repeated back to me. The assumption is they got it right.... I ordered a small Turkey Original with double meat and add mustard. Pic attached and you can judge if it is double meat. I don't feel so. Went here for the first time today and.... It was amazing. I walked in for a pick up order they asked me my name and brought it out within five minutes. Got a sandwich and two pizzas. The food here is worse than Burger King at 2:00am. Pizza is like chewing paper, the turkey is dry as an 80 year old woman, and the avacado tastes like its only seasoning was open air for 20 minutes before it went on my sandwich. The only thing worse was the old stale sponge they call bread. Congratulations schlotzky's; I didn't think any place could be as bad as Burger King in San Marcos, but somehow y'all did it. Cole machine did not function, so you have to get your drinks from the back via an employee. They are kind of slow. Ordered two sandwiches, two chips two drinks and two small Cinabuns and it was $36. Kind of pricey in my opinion. They also did not give ma a receipt when I paid so Whalen they called my number I was unsure which order was mine. This review is absolutely typed out because of a poor experience. I legit only asked for two pickles with my meal (bc I didn't get any), and they tried charging me for them. I used a reward I earned through their app for a free giant sandwich so this visit wasn't as pricy as others. And as many years as I've been eating this food, I have never once been charged for something that they give out freely with meals. It's as if they're charging me for hot sauce packets or as if I asked for a handful. Was the individual upset (or staff) because I didn't pay full price? Why was I treated poorly? There is no customer service here, and I truly feel taken advantage of from this location, and I don't believe I will ever go back. I understand inflation, but to this degree? Absolutely not. We tried Schlotzsky's pizza earlier in the week for the first time while visiting Austin, and decided to try them again for a sandwich. Definitely appreciate that everything on their menu can be made gluten-free since my dad has a dietary restriction. The wait time in the drive-thru was reasonable, our order was correct, warm, and delicious. My mom also got one of their chocolate chip cookies (she wanted to compare it to the cookies at P. We planned day to have a Schlotzky's sandwich with today's BOGO Leap Year offer received by email. With forwarded email in hand on his iPhone, my husband went to this location. I jumped out of shower to answer husband's phone call. This store wanted a "code". On my iPhone, I found no code. At my computer, several minutes later, I found no code. The store asked for a coupon. The email has no coupon. The email said nothing about "must print this offer." Word came from the manager that we must print the email offer. So, empty handed my husband came home. I printed email offer and made it, without lunch, to my appointment. ... So, 2.5 hours later, with printout of the email in hand, we got lunch. To me, this is not good customer service. read more

I've been to this location many times since its opening and have never had any issues. Their eClub recently sent out a coupon that oddly the Kyle location doesn't accept due to their $1 drink special after 3 pm. The coupon requires the purchase of a sandwich to get free chips and drink. Now I'm no math genius but I believe a $5 sandwich is more than a $1 drink. How can a business turn that away? I ordered an original deluxe, no cotto salami, and received a sandwich with 2 pieces of ham on it. How is this deluxe? Maybe because it didn't have 1 piece ham? Came here a few nights ago to get a turkey and avocado cobb salad, was served by a friendly girl with pink hair. It was about 30 minutes before they closed and I got the order to go. I haven't eaten here since I developed my wheat allergy, so I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they'd added a GF bun! Now for the con, their menu is confusing. I ordered a drink and chips, which I thought was $2.39 extra. No, no, no. It's $2.39 for the drink and then another $1.75 (or thereabouts) for your chips. So, making it a combo adds $4 to your total, which I think is a bit steep, especially since I'm already paying $1.50 extra for the GF bun! read more

The veggie sandwich came out with only cheese tomato and black olive. That is literally one veggie. Missing cucumber, lettuce, and onion. The original came out with no veggies either.
