This place had seemed to be on a down turn, really high turn over, lots of order mistakes; I had to get money from the atm and figured I'd give it another shot; the employees seemed happy, wait time was practically nothing, got a pickle and hot sauce with out even having to ask. They even took a little break to look at my red cellphone old school telephone receiver. Reminded me of old school Austin when you weren't looked down on because of your car or job. Hope you guys keep it up. read more

As a reward through their app, I went to redeem my birthday gift: any small sandwich with a $1 purchase. I chose an oatmeal raisin cookie and an Avocado Turkey sandwich. It includes turkey, avocado, lettuce, red onions, and tomatoes on their signature sourdough bun. One of the chefs brought it out to me very quickly and personally wished me a happy birthday. It was such a nice gesture; it made me feel special, even though it was a week after my birthday. He even offered me a bag of chips; I chose the Jalapeño. It's very pleasant to dine in. The walls are decorated with iconic Austin images, such as the "Hi, How Are You" illustration by Daniel Johnson. There is also a lighted sign with the words "Austin Born and Bread." This is a nod to their famous sourdough bread. Even my table had Austin-centric designs read more

Too far from home to return regularly, but I sure wish it was nearby. When everything is good, there's not a lot to say, but this place is a good example of a good location. Clean, organized refill station, food quick and well made. And the staff especially is very upbeat and a lot of comaradere. They all seem to like each other's company, and that's real nice. A nice touch is the perfect era late 70s rock channel playin'. Anyway, wish it was near my place. read more

Earlier this year, this location of Schlotzsky's donated $10 off cards to the school where I work. Since it's been years since I'd visited one I thought a free $10 was a good incentive to go. I found a flatbread pizza for about that amount and had lunch for under $2. Bonus was.... It. Was. Delicious. I'd forgotten how good this place was. Since then I've popped into this location a handful of times...and between the friendly staff, clean restaurant and delicious food... it's pretty perfect. Went in a few days ago and got the "meaty" pizza for lunch. It's enough to feed 2 (or do what i do and get a box and have it for lunch the next day). Glad I got a reminder about this local legend. read more

I sat in the drive threw for 5 minutes and no one ever took my order. I just left. That's ridiculous

Ordered a Cinnabon that I did not open until I got home. It certainly looked amazing but was clearly not fresh and was somewhat dry. The person who took my order at the window did not seem happy to be there either. read more

I placed an order through the app for delivery to my workplace, and when it arrived, it was missing paid-for items -- a drink that was part of the combo and an extra bag of chips. I called the store, as directed on the receipt, and spoke with the manager, Silvia. She was completely unprofessional and dismissive. When I asked for a contact email for the owner to escalate the issue, she refused, stating she doesn't give out work email addresses. Instead, she insisted she needed my physical mailing address to write the complaint in a "complaint book." She did share the owner's name (Joanne Thomas) but refused to provide any contact information or a path to resolve the issue. If this is the person you've entrusted to manage your business, you are setting your business up for failure. Silvia's demeanor, attitude, and complete lack of concern for resolving a customer issue are deeply concerning. There was no effort to take accountability or ensure customer satisfaction. This experience was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. read more

Still haven't gotten my food and already having a bad experience with the bad customer service. 1st time here and employee at the register seemed like he didn't not want to be talked to. read more

If customer service were a sport, Sylvia would be the MVP! From the moment I walked in, she treated me like I was the only customer in the world--like I was a celebrity and she was my biggest fan. Ahh jkjk Sylvia's energy is contagious, and I left feeling happier than a kid in a candy store. If you want great food and even better service, head to Schlotzsky's and ask for Sylvia. read more

Ordered the pick 2 that's a 10 meal, agent up charged me to 15, cancelled it and left, post your prices clearly or I'm gone

Good franchise but the location is terrible. Awful customer service. Just go somewhere else.

The only reason this location will get a 1 star out of me is because the manager was nice enough to let me come back and re make my order BUT it was still wrong. I ordered a Avacado Turkey sandwhich and the bread was soooo chewy it was not toasted AT ALL. I never had a sandwhich put together soooo LAZY and this is one of my favvv places smh. Second time I go back so they can correct the order and it's the SAME THING. No toasted bread and no cheese and no tomato nothing on there it was such a horrible sandwhich I just gave it to a homeless person ! Worst location read more

I went today to the Canyon Ridge location. The half sandwich was nothing like the picture. They omitted the diced avocados that the picture showed. Come to find out it's a smear of smashed avacado, because diced doesn't really exist in their kitchen. The guy that makes the sandwiches on Sunday seemed stressed and shocked when I pointed it out. He for what ever reason added more lettuce as a filler. I paid over $50.00 dollars for 3 people to eat. Just know that at this location your sandwich will not come close to looking like their pictures above the cashier. Do not waist your time and make your sandwich at home. This was my last trip in. Also if a recession is on its way they won't survive. Big disappointment and waist of money and time. Pay more and get less. read more

Not happy!! I ordered a bbq chicken and jalapeño pizza just now and realized I got a pepperoni pizza when I got home. The staffs are not friendly and the service was horrible. The girl that handed our order didn't check the order and was busy on her Apple AirPods. read more

Ordered delivery via the Schlotzsky's app. Didn't get what I paid for and no dressing for my salad , not even a fork. I submitted the pictures and receipt via the app, then got a message saying email this person "Joseph" who emailed me back saying he cared about the issue etc. never got my money back or a response afterward even after providing contact info as requested by them. And after all of this, the Cinnabon I ordered was over cooked or burnt . So just threw that away. Complete waste. read more

For whatever reason, the Schlotzsky's location close to us is limiting its delivery services, so we've been getting orders from this S Congress location. Of the dozen or so times we've had orders at this location, not once have they got the order correct. Not. Once. Last straw was the bacon on our requests for no bacon...both of us, missing items and meager, tired ingredients. Avoid this location until they give a crap about accuracy and appeal. It's beyond ridiculous. read more

The service is excellent but the food has not been the last two times we dined at this location. The bread tastes stale and the sandwich is very dry. We used to love their food but something has definitely changed. read more

I do not expect gourmet sandwiches but for what I receive after paying I am truly satisfied with their menu choices. The service has always been friendly and sandwiches (or pizzas) have always been fresh. I am pleased everytime I go to a Schlotzky's, whether to sit-in or pick up via their drive-thru. read more

Bad customer service, lady giving me the food looked mad and didn't say a single word just handed me my food.

Isaiah was working the cash register today when I went in for my free birthday sandwich and although I was having a really rough day he made it so much better. His attitude is so kind and friendly and you can tell it's genuine and he definitely gives the best customer service which is truly hard to find these days. Thank you Isaiah for making my day just a little better with being so kind. read more

James had. Great costumer service !!! Had to be the best service ever thank you James for the amazing vibes!!

First time ever leaving a bad Yelp review EVER This is the second time I've been to this location. First time, the lady that took my order could not get it right after repeating it 3 times on the intercom. Ended up saying screw it and pulled forward. Today, same girl with a piss poor attitude and AirPods in. I ordered at 7:20pm. There was only 2 cars in front of me. Finally got to the window, sat for 10 minutes to then be told to pull up to the front cuz "it's gon be awhile" with no apology. All I ordered was a sandwich and a flatbread pizza. While at the window, I could see a staff member eating food. There's only 6 people inside. It's now 7:55pm and still out front no food. Had time to type this up. Absolute trash service and speed. Guessing the food will be to. read more

I just went through the drive through and the lady in the window refused to speak, had an attitude on her face the whole time, grunted at me to take my drink and then slammed the window. People like this should not be allowed to work in an environment where they have to interact with other people. I will never go back to this location because of her. read more

Ordered a California Chicken & Avocado Flatbread, USUALLY a really good item from Schlotzky's. This was not only missing the AVOCADO, which blows my mind when it's literally in the name of the meal, but it just didnt taste that good. The one in buda is way better read more

Went to this store and had placed a order like I always do online. And pay at the windows done it countless times never had an issue. I pull up to the window and a cranky old lady in a already aggravated tone says "what do you need" told her I was there for an online order. She said I had to come inside this and that mind you I've paid at the windows lots of other times. I come inside and she continues with her tone. And keeps at it with smart remarks I ask if she's a manger and she says she is. Very sad that that's who is in charge of our food. read more
