It was pretty awesome for $20. We did have to wait 2 hours on line to get in, but it was totally worth it. The walkthrough is about 15 mins long. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Even my 7 year old who was scared ended up liking it and enjoying himself. If you have 2 hours to spare, go for it !!!!

A haunt with real actors! Some creepy stuff and excellent jump scares! They moved to an indoor space eliminating any weather issues.

Ask the Community - Scared by the Sound

Is it indoors? Worried about the rain tonight...

The actual maze is covered, the graveyard at the end is not but they're open rain or shine

Is this too scary for a 5 year old? She wants to go to a haunted house, but I'm wondering if this is too scary? Thanks

Might be a little to scary but you can always take her to the line/waiting area and see how she feels. Also they don't offer refunds if she doesn't go in so just keep that in mind

I was expecting more of a kiddie haunt but was extremely surprise with a professional and very well laid out haunt.

I am writing to formally raise concern regarding a Nightmare Cirque performance I attended with my…read morefamily. The show contained explicit sexual content and adult-themed material that was inappropriate for the audience present and not consistent with what was advertised. During the performance, a scene involving a Beetlejuice character included sexually explicit behavior on stage. This included a male performer introducing a prop male dildo/penis during the act. Audience members were also directly engaged in portions of the performance, with male audience members being specifically targeted for participation. This created an environment that I and others experienced as uncomfortable and inappropriate, with personal boundaries being crossed. This was more about sexual orientation agenda pushing homosexuality. Asking male audience who has a big penis. Humping another man from behind bending him over. Sexual harassment at an all time high. Extremely disturbing and disgusting. There was no clear warning in the advertising or event policies indicating that explicit sexual content or sexualized audience interaction would be part of the show. Families were present, including children(which should not have had entry access), which made the content especially unsuitable for the setting. As a result, my family and I felt misled and left the performance early. We also requested a refund but were not able to reach the appropriate decision maker at the time. Overall, the experience involved content and conduct that we considered inappropriate for a public performance and resulted in emotional distress.Mental nightmare. I am requesting a formal review of this matter and clearer content warnings for future performance. Rated R sex store production is what customers unwilling paid for. ATL GA

Lines not nearly as long as seasoned haunts like Bane or Brighton Asylum, but location gaining interest from repeat customers. Got there before 5pm to avoid long lines, sat back, relaxed, chilled in the store, got on line at 6pm, and was inside at the expected time of 6:40pm. Could have arrived later than 5pm without issue, but since parking normally sucks a huge dong figured get there early enough just in case. Staff checks you in, gives you a wrist band, then you get on the hay ride over to the orchard. Get there wait in line, finally they cut off the wrist band and you go "inside". Since there are little to no indoor mazes haunts come from every angle. Possible to be caught up in someone else's scare and totally miss a creep running up on you. Vibe is eerie enough but still slightly flat. Creeps keep on coming in wave after wave. Even Dennis the dead security guard lets you know no position in line is safe from scare. Overall nice attempt, a little lame, but nice considering it's almost entirely outdoors. Small things to improve on; every employee should be in costume, don't want to see a well dressed attractive woman guiding guests inside the haunt when Shovelman the Ugly Ghoul is also doing the same. Interested to see what they have in store for next year.

The line moved quickly and the actors entertained us the whole time we waited, making it fun. Once inside, they come from every direction and it's sometimes impossible to predict it or see it coming. The haunted houses built inside the attraction were pretty spooky, but the doll maker was by far the one that creeped us out the most. Fun night getting into the Halloween spirit. We will be returning.

Ok, so it's been a while since I've been in Playland. I wanted to see the aftermath of the lawsuit…read morefiasco... GOOD THINGS: - Good-looking park, beach, and atmosphere - Added a pool area in there - I rode the Dragon Coaster, Sawmill River, Bumper Cars, Grand Carousel, Music Express, Old Rye Motorbike Factory, Zombie Castle, and the Crazy Mouse. - Affordable - Solid food - Nice employees - Great beach as usual BAD THINGS: - About 25% of the rides were closed - They removed some rides, including the Go Karts... - Lack of variety for the arcade prizes - Lack of park maps Hopefully they'll make this park better for the next 5-10 years.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Awesome, local, Westchester amusement park that your kids will have a blast at! + Lots of kiddy rides in the Kiddyland area of the park. + Not a huge park and very manageable for families with young children. + There are a few adult/big park rides around the rest of the park, including the famed Dragon Coaster. + Multiple food vendors inside, serving the usual burgers, tenders, fries, soft drinks, etc. at the usual going prices that you would find at any other amusement park. + Huge private parking lot right outside of the park, BUT there is a parking fee of $15 (as of August 2026) on top of admission tickets. + Park is adjacent to the Rye Playland Beach and Boardwalk, but the beach requires a separate admission of $10 (as of August 2026). + Easy online purchasing of tickets, but you can also purchase in person. + Only children require tickets/bands in Kiddyland to go on rides, so there is no need to purchase tickets/bands for adults if those are the only rides your kids will go on. + Even though it's stated that they don't allow outside food and drinks, they TOTALLY do. Security checks bags at the entrance, but they will let you in with just about any outside food and drink. We saw families bring in entire 2L bottles of juice! THE NOT SO GOOD ----------------------------- - UNFORTUNATELY, a majority of the employees (mostly high school/college students) operating the rides weren't very friendly and seemed somewhat tortured when operating them. MIXED THOUGHTS ---------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Big park ride tickets/bands are slightly more expensive than Kiddyland tickets/bands and Kiddyland tickets/bands can be upgraded as well if you want to go on Big Park rides. = There is a small souvenir/gift shop at the entrance of the park that sells park branded clothes, keychains, pins, magnets, etc. = For parents, you can probably have your kids go on every ride in Kiddyland in less than 2-3 hours. = And, of course, if you're a movie buff and seen the movie, BIG, then the boardwalk will look verrrrrrry familiar because they filmed part of the movie here and this is where the Zoltar machine was located in the movie!
