I have seen GREAT shows here and since I don't like traveling to the city, this is perfect. Seeing a show here is personal and private, almost like you are sitting in your living room. I live in Yonkere so it's a bit out of the way. i drive a car so i can't imagine how much longer it…read morewould be if you had to use public transportation such as bus or train. the theater is "upscale" and located in Pleasantville, New York. the movie they show here are mostly "artsy" "independent" style movies. whenever i see the occasional movie here, there are usually many comfortable good view seats available. it's a non-profit, "org", so they run on donations and paying memberships. it's a decent place to watch off the beaten path movies. i paid 17$ to watch the recent movie called "Tony" about the early chapter on Anthony Bourdain's life. enjoy the next flick!! i don't know anything about the prices at the concession stand. i don't purchase snacks at movies, you may want to call or consult their website. The cost wasn't an issue, but maybe put the parking fee and ticket price together? It'll save from having a long line of patrons sitting in their cars waiting, and waiting to get to a parking space. Also, place arrows along the road so the line of cars will know where to go. Why do the vendor only accept credit cards? I came with a pocket of cash ready and willing to buy things. Which, quite frankly, the vendors yesterday s...ked... Need to offer everything and anything for sale. Is there a reason why wineries or distillers weren't there selling? If politicians aren't allowed to participate, then keep the music performers from singing or talking politics? Why is the festival so Liberal? Is it because that was how Pete use to be? (bad idea! You need to cater to everyone!) Maybe have some raffles? Lastly, have more gates at the perimeter for coming or going. Or do a members drive to get more helpers?

We each had two smoothies a person bc they were slamming over at the food truck area. Enjoyed the music, the vendors, talking to activists, getting some cool henna and just being one with nature and folksy people in the warm sun. I'll be back next year Pete :)

Between the actors knowing when to move to other people and when to gather around. There was one part with a few actors who ignored my girlfriend as she ran an went straight for me, holding me agenst the fence as others went by and me being scared out my mind. Finally getting away they again cornered me as my girlfriend laughed away at the entrance to the next area. Between jump scares, hidden areas where ghosts an ghouls jump out of that you don't expect this place is worth every dime you pay for. We will most definitely be paying the price again and taking the ride Down each year. Head to horseman's hollow if you want a real good And true scare.
