I was informed that the pathways were navigatable and just a little "pebbly". In reality these are rock and sand pathways that are impossible for a wheelchair. The woman's bathroom was also non compliant as there wasnt a stall large enough to enter with the chair. I would have appreciated an honest assessment before I put my mother's safety as risk. After paying more than 50$, we were barely able to make it past the first foot bridge. Shameful.

We purchased tickets for Thanksgiving weekend, but a severe storm hit Chicago. The venue failed to…read morenotify us of the closure until 20 minutes before our scheduled start time. By then, we had already driven 40 miles in dangerous conditions, only to be forced to turn back. We were told we could reschedule, which we did for today. Unfortunately, my child became sick, and now they are refusing to reschedule again. The least they could do is offer reasonable flexibility given the original cancellation could have been handled more appropriately. Instead, they are keeping our money despite their own failure to communicate and accommodate. This is unacceptable and apathetic given we spent $200 and were put at severe risk. I fully expect their response to this post to cite "company policy," but policies don't excuse poor customer service. Taking responsibility and making a reasonable exception for their mistake would be the right approach.

It was a wet night with some snow and rain. We just missed the Rian and it was lightly snowing when we arrived, which added to the mystique of the forest ambience. Some pro tips would be to wear warm clothing, pack an umbrella, and wear thick socks under some wellies, because you will be walking for the entire event and if there has been any precipitation, the ground will definitely be muddy. We lucked out on the night we visited because of the weather. There were definitely less people than I'm sure there are, on drier days. We picked a time where the sun would have just set but it would still be early enough for our kiddo to enjoy the event without getting cranky. Parking was well-choreographed. There are people everywhere to direct you where to go. We parked pretty close to where we needed to enter. Weeknights are going to be the go-to time because there are much less people than on weekends. Admission was pretty seamless. We pre-ordered our tickets and parking online which made everything easier. We walked in with no issue. The bathrooms weren't terrible but be advised that they are port-a-potties. When we finally began the experience, we were amazed. The staff gave great energy, despite the weather. They were very engaging with the crowd and acknowledged the kids, making it a memorable experience. The displays were amazing. My husband and I loved the nostalgia, remembering the movies through all the scenes. There were also nods to Fantastic Beasts, throughout the experience. We each got to discover our Petronus, kiddo has a bunny, hubby has an otter (?) and I have a honey badger (yerrr). We tried Butterbeer, had marshmallows covered in chocolate, saw Dementors destroyed , and enjoyed some light food at the end. I even bought an Elder Wand for myself. This is a one and done event. I probably won't be back unless the prices are considerably decreased but I would love to bring my kiddo back after she's old enough tow aych all of the movies with us. It would be a completely different experience for her and that would be great to witness.

A ghostly night for families…read more Tickets go on sale online a month or two in advance and most nights get sold out quickly. Tickets must be purchased in advance. $15.00 per adult. We arrived on a Sunday night for a 7:00 ticket (the event goes all evening, but your ticket is for a specific time) and arrived a little early, 6:20-6:30pm. We followed a stream of cars to the huge back parking lot overlooking the Hudson. A walking path led from the parking lot to Philipsburg Manor. The walking path is dirt and natural mulch lit by lanterns with candlelight overlooking distant barns, the manor house, a pond and dam. The mood was authentic, natural, old Sleepy Hallow. Once you reach the manor, there is a large souvenier shop - fun and festive with many different gifts and trinkets to purchase. A little further you reach the ticket gates, where your tickets are scanned and you are allowed to enter. Again, there is another walking path lite the same as you are now walking around the other side of the pond. Soon you reach the event grounds. There are ghosts that walk the property, an awesome storyteller with a stage, camp fires and colorful, eery lighting of the trees, barns and manor house. Each barn has been artistically staged. Further there is a wooden fence set up overlooking a field where you wait for the Headless Horseman to appear! There are other scenes set up with actors and singers. Also, a small booth filling the air with the aroma of fresh popcorn and hot apple cider among other treats and drinks. A wonderful family event for a cool October night.

Yorktown Stage runs an amazing summer camp…read more Owner Barry Liebman knows what he's doing and has honed the camp experience into a dream come true for any up and coming performers. During the week, campers will work with a choreographer to perfect two dance routines -- one to a musical theatre show and another to a pop song. Between dance classes, campers will rotate into improv and arts and crafts classes. Each week culminates in a performance of the two dances in front of a very packed crowd of thrilled parents and relatives. The head counselor August is awesome and the staff and CITs follow his enthusiastic lead to deliver an incredible experience for all of the campers.

You can walk through in about 30-40 minutes but you can go at your own pace. The first tickets begin at 8pm since it must be very dark to appreciate. The kids love the bubble machines at the entrance and all the great insects and flowers that are propped up as you walk through. They are all made with plastic materials such as milk jugs and crates. The lighting effects are beautiful. Much time and planning goes into creating this as the The Blaze at Halloween time. There's two tents-one is a gift shop and one is for refreshments. The gift shop is my favorite: cutest items if you like antique, Victorian style collectibles and also light up toys for the kiddies. Light up toys make the experience more fun! We always have a wonderful time in Historic Hudson Valley. The tickets need to be purchased in advance online.

We got tickets right away and went to the 9pm show last night. I would definitely recommend going to the later show so that it is sufficiently dark enough to see all the displays lit up, they are beautiful. Discovering what materials were recycled to make each item was lots of fun as well. We will definitely be back for both the Blaze and Lightscapes!

Once fastened into the seat with vr head gear & seat guard, it allows movement from side to side, up and down and even 360° turn. There are 6 different story lines to choose from. It's a unique experience of VR fun & mini roller coaster ride combined. Few downside we experienced was that, 1) space is very limited 2) number of equipments are very limited. There's a sign on the wall which says 'Expanding soon with many more entertainment products'. 3) wait time was way over what we were quoted. For $10, it's worth the ride but, due to its limitations, wait was not short at all. We were told 20 minutes but, truthfully, we waited over 45 mins to ride a short 10 min ride.
