A wonderful place for keeping pups healthy and clean. Much better than trying to corral my dog in the bathtub and hoping she doesn't shake water all over the house! The de-shedding tool is a lifesaver, my dust rhino population is now under control. They also sell high quality products and dog food for reasonable prices. I've stopped going to the big box pet stores - sBarkles has everything I need! Very nice local owners. Glad to give them my business! read more

I came here after a very dirty hike with my Aussie. Overall, I was very pleased with the self serve dog wash. The facilities were clean & the prices were reasonable. Everything was included in the flat price: towels, soap, & brushes. I never felt rushed and was able to make sure I took my time to get my pup cleaned up. Definitely would recommend! read more

DO NOT take your dog to get washed here, overall awful experience. 15 dollars for rusty/broken appliances, hose with a hole in it, and cold water. Our dog was absolutely miserable and we got soaked from the broken hose. Employee was rude and very unhelpful AND knew the water was cold and didn't warn us. read more

Great Dog Wash in a comfortable atmosphere, helpful staff and great selection of accessories and dog food

I get my cat's food here. Really healthy and not full of all of that garbage even big names like Blue have. Gluten free too :) It's pricey, but not as pricey as doctor prescription ordered food that had gluten and other harmful products in it. They definitely know what they are doing here and my lil man is worth the cost :) Staff is always friendly and owners are extrememly friendly! read more

I went here for the first time today. Let me start with the one bad thing. It's 15.00. I could see 10 bucks. But 15.00 is a little steep. I could see paying it on a rare occasion but definitely not regularly. If you have a small dog it's not worth it as they are easy to wash at home, but any dog over 25 pounds and it's great! They have everything you need right at each station and it was so easy. A good place to go after a day at the river. No bending over a home tub, no clean up. My dog smelled delicious! :) read more

These guys are GREAT. With the COVID 19 virus, they offered to even bring the dog food to my house. I called Bob at his store told him what we needed, his staff took my credit card information over the phone and we were done. Since I live in Folsom 15 minutes later Bob showed up out front. He left the dog food I ordered on the porch and called me to let me know that he was here. If you are not buying your dog and cat supplies from Sparkles you should be. Their advice and service is second to none! I would recommend them as the place to go! read more

We have been going to Sbarkles since they open. Bob & John are very helpful picking out the right dog food. The right food is very important for your animals. Although Brittany is my favorite:) read more

Sbarkles - Pet Stores Near Me - Folsom, California

Good little high-end pet shop with a dog washing station. They carry a number of difficult-to-find brands of food and treats -- prices are comparable to other similar stores. read more

I took my dog to Sbarkles to use their self-wash. I loved this place! They have a hydro surge soap system that automatically puts soap on your dog for you and makes life a lot easier when you have a large hairy dog because the soap and water go all the way to the skin. I was able to wash my dog twice and condition him all for $15. The staff was very nice and even gave me an extra towel when I asked. My mother-in-law purchased some gourmet goodies and my pup loved them. Sbarkles also offers a variety of pet foods and toys. I would much rather spend my money here than at a large chain store. We will definitely be back. :D read more

Sbarkles is the best! They make washing your dog simple, fast, and fun! The owners and employees are AWESOME and very helpful. And, while you are there, you can do a little bit of shopping for your dog too! Pick up some great dog food, treats, toys, and much more. I absolutely love this place! ;) read more

My wife and I come to El Dorado Hills a few times a year to visit family, and this is the best store in town for pet supplies. Laura and Sofia helped us out tonight and were both great. Will continue to come back here to get food and supplies for our pup! read more

I haven't washed my dogs here yet, but I was looking for some specialty high protein cat food for my diabetic cat and they were listed as having it. When I went there and talked to the guy working, he was very knowledgeable and even gave me giant samples so that I wouldn't buy a bag of food my cat wouldn't eat! When I returned to get the kind she liked best (the suggestion he made, not the one I originally was looking for), he carried it to my car even though I was right in front of the door. When I popped my trunk, he saw the bag of dog food I had purchased at another store and told me that his distributor carried it & he could order it so I only had to go to one place and could use the 10% coupon they put in the Folsom flier I get in the mail. Very accommodating, and the 10% off food coupon is a great deal. read more

I work a few doors down from this store (Home Consignment Center) , which is how I found out about it. We now purchase raw treats for our furry customers and even the pickiest (according to thier owners) of them enjoy the treats we share . Our resident dog Eli is now so spoiled on treats from here he will not eat his milk bone treats his mom tries to give him ! Always friendly staff members . Support local business . read more

Love this place! All the staff are so friendly and will take the time to talk and help if ur concerned about any problems your pet may be having. I highly highly recommend this place for good quality pet food that Sbarkles stands behind. Prices are good and return policy if your pet does not like the food is 100%! Can't beat that! read more

Me and Petey my American Bulldog love our bath times at Sbarkles. I always use 10% coupon and by the package, because we know were going back.. The owners are great, and so is their staff. Everyone knows Petey and what I use, and I don't have to ask, they just bring it to me. and give Petey love.. read more

Sbarkles - This is Petey..he loves Sbarkles.. - Pet Stores Near Me - Folsom, California

Shop independent & local! These guys run a very friendly store, great stock.. and a dog wash! This dog wash is great for a medium size dog, it was a little awkward of a set up for my Great Dane... as she walked up the ramp to get in the tub her body brushed up against the switch for the dryer (bad design) and turned it on and scared the day lights out of her... we probably could have created a viral video had someone been recording! So now we only bath our medium sized dog here, and we love it. Great food selection of good quality nutrition and cool toys. Love this store! read more

Went in there tonight to wash our dog. No where on the website does it say the washes close at 6:15. Their website says closes at 7. Either the woman working didn't want to clean up the washing space and help us or you guys should really post that somewhere so your customers don't waste their time. Maybe it's time for a new dog wash place. read more

Awesome brands and high quality products! Food, treats, toys and more! Pricing is cheaper than even Chewy.com! Buy and support your local store! They are worth it plus, if you're looking to groom your own dog, they have do-it -yourself stations with all of the equipment! It's awesome. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Always the best greeting when i arrive! Meet owner last week and he gave me several samples of food and knowledgeable on treats. Recommended the algae treats and my dogs love them. The also stock Fromm which is so hard to find. Will never use another pet store. read more

I love the self-service bath. Lots of shampoo options: hypo-allergenic, eucalyptus, shed control, etc. The water is warm, and there are slip mats and towels provided. Great customer service. You're welcomed as soon as you step inside, and there's a treat bowl on the counter with dog treats - help yourself. The owner clearly loves animals and is passionate about his business. Great selection of products. But please be advised that this is a store with high-quality products. It is a great place if you're looking to spend on your animal, or get a special gift for an animal lover. If you're not prepared for premium products, you might be more comfortable shopping the pet aisle at Walmart. There's nothing wrong with that, you should just know before you go. But if you're looking for a great Kong toy, a hypoallergenic shampoo, or a bone/chew substitute made from non-animal products, this is your place! read more

Sbarkles - Black lab in the tub - Pet Stores Near Me - Folsom, California

Five Stars for sBarkles Folsom!!! My daughter and I take our dogs there for their weekly baths. I love the raised tubs that are so much easier on my back than the tub at home. The de-shedding tool works great! I think I brushed enough hair off my Corgi to make another dog! The owner's are wonderful people that truly love pets. The store also offers good quality, healthy dog foods and treats. Buy the dog wash package, you won't be sorry. You get a free wash! read more

Nice store with the right amenities to wash your dog. Beware however of the absolutely terrible service provided by the bored, condescending and downright rude young girls tasked to run the place. There are too many competitors providing the same price/service with a much better and helpful customer service experience than this place. Our advice is to go elsewhere until the owner hires people who are actually mature enough to understand what customer service is really about. It's a if they're being forced to work there and would rather be anywhere else. We'd rather give our business to a place that cares. Our advice would be to stay away... read more

SBarkles came to my rescue one Sunday afternoon. My dog was out of dog food and Bark Ave & Western Feed were out! Luckily, I called SBarkles and a very nice employee told me they had the food in stock and the different size bags available. When I arrived, the employees already had the bag of dog food in a cart by the register. Thanks so much for the great customer service and saving the day! read more

Not a good place at all. I sent my dogs in for teeth cleaning last Friday (Very first time... and very last time I bring them to that shop for cleaning) and they came home with fleas!!! a) My dogs never had fleas before at home, not even when I bring them to parks. b) My dogs did not go anywhere else between Friday and today (Sunday). When I called the shop, they refuse to accept any responsibility and not even interested to do anything about it (like cleaning/treating the store). I was calling to at least ensure they treat the store and don't propagate the fleas to others, but they're not interested and just flat out deny that the fleas are from the store. I never had a problem with another store that does teeth cleaning (Western feed) in Folsom read more

What a great place! I brought my dog in for her bi-yearly wash and realize just how easy it is to do this monthly at Sparkles. John was a great help explaining how to use the tubs and the "wash rack". Afterwards my dog was nice and cleaned and we browsed through the snack area to see if there was something to treat her with. Great service, great products and a clean dog. What more could you want? :) read more

Just took my dog here for a shampoo for the first time. I was walked thru the process and given good instructions. My four year old son was with me and he had so much fun helping me--And, as a parent, I like that it's teaching him at the same time--to care for our dog, responsibility, etc). It's a really friendly shop and I can def. see coming back in the future! read more

The kindest guys work there with amazing knowledge of dogs, their breeds, behaviors, and needs. Great prices and a wide variety of healthy products. The are locally owned and operated as well as active in the community. While there asking my dog, I heard someone ask about their dog who had been sprayed by a skunk. Their answer wasn't a product. It was a process with foreseeable issues (He said, you will think the smell is gone but when it rains, even a sprinkle, the odor will come out again.). Their knowledge was unlike anything I've ever heard at a big chain store. read more

I do not recommend Sbarkles. I started going to Sbarkles shortly after Bob and John opened the store. When the business was new, the owners were hungry for customers:,but now, they are (particularily Bob) sarcastic, impatient, and arrogant. Sure, they will be pleasant until you become one of their regular customers. You walk in and they greet you with a big smile. They have automated the time they spend with you to about 5 minutes - or less, if it looks like you are not going to buy anything. They moved the store to a bigger location and the prices on the products seem to have gone slightly up. The food items are pricey. The products are MORE EXPENSIVE than Elliott's (yes, the health food store). Elliott's carries The brand "Solid Gold." They are more expensive than Whole Foods for Halo and Primier (raw food). They are more expensive than Petco for most brands. More expensive than Trends and Treats located in FairOaks, CA. BE CAREFUL. They do not take anything back. I found this out the hard way. Also, several times, I had to bring to their attention that products on the shelves had expired. I think they would not have any problem selling it to you. Every time I go in I spend a lot of money (usually around $75), mainly because I have supported them for many years and I believe in supporting local merchants. NO MORE! In five years I brought one thing back and I was addressed rudely by Bob who asked me in a sarcastic way, "what do you want me to do." He was smacking his gum and did not want to even look at me, instead typing away on the computer. Perhaps, they should state on their receipt that there are no RETURNS. How can someone possibly know, with a closed package, that your pet will like it. They need to put samples out for everything. Also, their suppliers often give samples of their products to give to customers. Bob and John hide these samples and when they offer them up they act like they are doing you this amazing favor and taking good care of you. These are the exact words from Bob's mouth! Anyway, They just lost a regular customer! read more
