Kuram managed to get me an appointment with only a day wait compared to the other places I called that were way booked out. The groomer Valerie took excellent care of them. Took Biscuit for an emergency haircut because it suddenly became so hot everyday!!!! Booking was real easy and was happy to make an appointment at 8:30 for 9:00 this morning. The owner was very generous with giving Biscuit several treats to try.....the owner said it was like getting samples at Costco! Elza, our groomer was super friendly, very attentive and made sure she knew what we wanted. I liked they had a sample of how short you want the haircut, it was like carpet samples. Because of that there's no surprises or disappointments because they know how short you want it. I wasn't aware of my niece's really old Yorkie nail's until she showed me because she was beyond concerned over them. His name is JB and is going blind, he gets so spooked over his own silhouette. I just tried for the first time their grooming services with my cockapoos and the attention to making sure my two dogs were confortable was great! Although my dogs had a lot going on, matted and dealing with ear infections, I really appreciate how gentle and mindful the grooming ladies were. They had to go very short to just start all over again. The owner is very knowledgeable as well with recommendations on what to try for their allergies and skin sensitivity. I'm not normally one to leave reviews but we just started grooming my 60 pound golden retriever to get her on a deshedding schedule with baby on the way, and Pet Evolution has become my favorite place. This place is so much closer than my current groomers and my current groomers is so busy that I never get to speak with anyone on the phone. I have to leave messages that haven't recently been returned. That said, I really wanted to love this place. The first red flag was that the cost for my dog was twice what it is at my current groomers-- more when you include tip. I justified it by saying prices have gone up on everything, and maybe their service is worth it based on the reviews I read. Plus my dog really needed a groom. We paid for the deshedding package on top of the regular bathing. When he was returned to us, he looked good, but not great like we were used to seeing when he was freshly groomed. And worse, hair was still coming off of him just by petting him in the car. By day two, I was able to pick clumps of hair off his rear haunches and off the couch. Whatever deshedding we paid for was not effective. In fact, it seemed like it loosened the hair so that it came off more at home. The exact opposite result that we wanted. I'm not saying they didn't get any of his hair. I'm sure a great deal came off, but there was still a lot more to go. And we definitely paid the price to get ALL the hair. Based on the hair, the very high prices, and the weirdly "friendly" interactions that somehow felt fake, (except the older guy behind the counter who seemed genuine) I'm gonna work harder to make appointments at my old groomer. I gave this place the good old college try, and I just can't justify using them again. read more

I just spent well over an hour walking through the whole store with two of the lovely girls that work here who spent all their time trying to help me figure out what would be best for my five animals. Terrible grooming services. Non experienced and it shows. I have given them three chances and each time they complain my dogs are wiggly. I was at my last groomer 7 plus years. No problems ever ! I just had both my dogs groomed here and am extremely happy with the results. There are different grooming packages to chose from to suit each pet and compared to prices I recently paid at a nearby high end grooming place, Pet evolution were a little cheaper and I can't fault the amazing job they did. I think grooming prices vary greatly based on convenience and area. I like that they have a shop too for various pet supplies, and the convenience of being in a shopping area means I can run errands while I'm waiting without having to drive all the way home.
