Marlo can be a handful with all his energy and need for attention, but Alex handled it like a pro - providing plenty of playtime, socialization and affection. It was especially comforting to receive regular updates and photos that gave me peace of mind while we were away. Marlo even made a new bestie, bonding with another doodle Alex was caring for. Roy at PawPaw is truly amazing and the only person I trust. I came home to a beautiful, clean and better dog than when I left!! It's like she remembers her early training again-- she sits on command, is quiet on command (now HOW did you do that??!!) and is just perfect!! Holy cow!! Roy sends pictures and videos every day so you know that she is safe and happy. I loved seeing her "tucked in" at night with the other pups. She is thrilled to go there weekly and they take such good care of her. She is a slow to warm dog but they worked with us until she got comfortable enough in their environment (they are diligent in their interviews) to start going there and now she is a big fan and so are we! I have utilized the enrichment course so he can have one on one time. They also offer baths so you can pick up a clean dog. If I have a problem with an online order, I can always follow up via email/phone and they are responsive. Hours are 7am - 7pm.

This is a review for Boarding at Club K9 in Castro Valley / San Ramon…read more We will not send our dog there again based on this experience on a 5 night stay from 6/27 to 7/2. This was not over a holiday weekend. Consistent messaging by email (after night 1) and phone from Club K9 staff was that Mira was having a great stay - we were notified that she wet her crate/dog bed the first night, but we weren't worried as that could've been a switch from dry to wet dog food. When we returned to pick her up - we were told that she had a great stay! But we were then told later that she had a second accident where she fully soiled her dog bed with diarrhea, likely due to the stress of being in the crate, and an employee handed out some extra prebiotics to help over the next few days. She also had a fairly large nose injury from rubbing it on the crate/fences. No one from Club K9 noticed the injury over the 5 day period or let us know - the reaction from the employee when shown the injury was "oh my god, we have no records of this!" with an off-the-cuff recommendation not to send her to this facility in the future. I have no issue with the facility's standard operating procedure of crating the dogs overnight- we were told and shown the facility in advance. I have significant concerns that staff are emphatically optimistic on every dog's "reports" when that optimism is unwarranted. Honesty that Mira wasn't having a good stay would have been appreciated- we would have made a call to have a friend pick her up for the last night or two. We will take the employee's advice and not send her to Club K9 in the future. Staff's evident ignorance of concerning issues, or lack of care to proactively address the situation, all while telling owners that everything is fine is too much for us.

They took great care of Sandi. She got so excited when she heard her dog walker coming to the door that she started jumping with excitement. A couple things they do to take extra care include: 1) Keelie (owner) personally introduces me to every person who will walk Sandi. 2) They use special leashes with AirTags. Their team members are licensed and bonded to. I highly recommend Keelie and her team.

My dogs are both super high energy, and they always seem to return relaxed from their stays. I like that there are certain activities they do with the dogs and that they video / photograph it daily. I do feel like a live camera would be nice but I understand that can bring more complications. Lastly, their actual place has gotten WAY nicer since I first went there. It looks very clean and organized.

Our senior dog is on heart medication, and Robert does a great job in making sure our dog takes his life saving meds. Communication has always been excellent. I received regular updates and photos of my dog enjoying his stay, which put my mind at ease while we are away. When I picked him up, he was happy, healthy, and clearly well-cared for during his time there. It also says a lot when Clifford tried to follow Robert back to the facility (instead of me) during a recent pickup. He must have really enjoyed his stay there! Overall, I highly recommend Robert! It's reassuring to know that there's a place where I can leave my dog with complete peace of mind.
