I never placed our previous dog in daycare but we our current dog is a camper. We like bringing him to Camp Bow Wow to learn to "dog" and socialize. What eases our minds is they have cameras on during business hours so we can check on him. There are no camera kennels except for the dogs in the private rooms. For overnight boarding, I bring his food, bed and a toy. They have doggie bed cots but I like to bring the comforts of home with him. I have utilized the enrichment course so he can have one on one time. They also offer baths so you can pick up a clean dog. I believe when they first opened I put a lower stars just simply because of the pricing. I often would drive out to Brentwood for the pricing difference. HOWEVER, my dog Tori has been coming back more frequently for the fact the owner and staff are all so great. Compared to other camp bow wows. It's worth the price to know my dog is safe. I boarded my French Bull Dog, Margo, for 7 days. I was reluctant at first but in the end I felt Camp Bow Wow (CBB) was the best and safest place for her to be. A little history of Margo. I am Margo's 4th home, and have only had her for 8 months, she is 6 years old, suffers from occasional anxiety. I was worried sick having to leave her. I started asking other dog parents who do they use when they go on vacation. Our friend highly recommended CBB. I have a list of reasons why I chose CBB and I was extremely satisfied. 1. CBB staff assured me their staff were trained to recognize when dogs overheat and had many ways to cool them down on hot days. 2. They administered her medication as needed and probiotics daily. 3. Fed her 3x a Day. 4. Access to live web cams 24/7. 5. Luxury Suite was Margo's own personal space, quiet and I could check on her throughout the night. 6. The dogs have an outdoor yard and indoor play yard. 7. The facility is very clean. I had confidence the staff had knowledge in caring for our pets. Staff is friendly, professional, and efficient. I could always reach them by phone and email. When I picked up Margo she was clean, looked healthy and appeared to be very well taken care of. I can only speak of their daycare service but my dog loves it here. Freyja gets excited as soon as we enter and 9/10 times she's putting her front paws up on the door to the back while wagging her tail as I get her checked in. All the staff members are great and whenever I check the cams, there's always someone being attentive with the dogs in their play yard. I'm impressed with how clean the areas are. Staff quickly clean up after any potty business and once a yard is not being used, it is sanitized along with any play structures thoroughly. Prices are competitive with other daycare and boarding facilities. Overall Freyja loves it here. She's a social butterfly who loves making friends with other dogs and I'm glad she has a space to do that safely in. I've been a Camp Bow Wow client in Reno for 4-years. They are great. Initially, I had to bring my dog in for an "interview day" to see if he would meet their requirements. I understand & appreciate that. Obviously, he passed the test. I have utilized Cam Bow Wows in Las Vegas & Salt Lake City for boarding during trips where I brought my dog. I'm going to be in the San Jose, CA area this weekend & sent a request to the San Ramon Camp Bow Wow. They insisted on meeting the dog for their own interview day before they would approve his stay. One of the reasons for a National Franchise Brand is to insure quality & consistency amongst locations. Apparently, every owner can impose their own rules. You might think a simple call to the Reno location would have alleviated their concerns. San Ramon is obviously only concerned about the local market and not serving the traveling Camp Bow Wow client. read more

I wish I could give Camp Bow Wow 10 stars! They have given my 1 year old puppy, Penny the best day care and boarding experience I could ask for. She gets excited to return to see her puppy friends and staff members. I can go away on a business trip and know that she is in the best hands. The facility is brand new and so clean! Every time I walk in to the front reception, the floor has been freshly cleaned. 10 stars all around for, care, knowledge, cleanliness, friendliness, communication etc. She was nervous to go her very first time, being a pandemic puppy with very little previous interactions with other dogs or humans but CBW-SR made her feel safe and happy in the toy dog yard! I was able to check in on her via the the puppy cams and saw just how much fun she was having. Often times a staff member was in the area with her and the other pups giving them pets and attention. Penny absolutely loves going to CBW - San Ramon! Shout out to the amazing and friendly staff! Upon check in they are very thorough and go through all of her food, medications, and daily routine for her stay. Our Samoyed puppy grew up at Camp Bow Wow San Ramon. Annalie, Carter, Danny and the whole team at Camp Bow Wow San Ramon is amazing and exceeded our expectations. We started puppy classes for our 4 month old Samoyed puppy to ensure that he would be successful early on in life. Through the process we ended up training ourselves too and learned more in a short amount of time than what we could have learned doing our own research. Camp Bow Wow San Ramon is now our preferred doggy daycare and boarding for when we need to leave our fur baby. We love that we can see him on the cameras when we miss him. Due to early puppy training, Snowball doesn't have any anxiety when we need to leave and board him. He also loves playing with other dogs and shows no aggression towards dogs or people. We also worked with Annalie for in-home puppy training. Our Snowball now waits patiently for us to prep his food and signal to eat. He's no longer a door dasher, waits patiently by the door and doesn't jump on visitors when they enter our home. She also taught him how to jump into the car within 5 seconds when we fail to get him to do it for months on our own. We feel so lucky to have met and had Annalie as our puppy & dog trainer. read more

Our dogs had to be boarded for the very first time. We felt so very fortunate to have found Camp Bow Wow in San Ramon. The facility is amazing. It's clean, it smells good, it's brand new and they have ALL of the state of the art features like power flushers where they flush the waste instead of put it in cans to sit around all day. The staff was incredible! We were immediately greeted with smiles and sweet baby talk and nick names for our pups. I ask a lot of questions and every single one of them were answered with great detail. That was huge for me! The pups have access to indoor AND outdoor play. In addition, I was able to watch our babies all day wherever they were. The feeding schedule was on point with them taking note that my boys must eat separately. When we picked them up they were happy, healthy and so so tired. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing first time boarding experience.
