Stella enjoying what I'm sure was a very brief moment of rest.
Alina T.

Bratpak is hands-down the best daycare and boarding for my pup! My dog is the definition of a Velcro dog, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a helicopter mom who struggles to trust anyone with my baby. But from the moment she realizes we're heading to daycare, her excitement says it all -- she absolutely loves it there. I do occasionally check the webcams, and even if I can't immediately spot her, she's always near a staff member because she loves them so much. I know she's a handful with all her energy, but the team handles her perfectly. She not only loves playing with her friends all day, but she adores the staff just as much. When she comes home, she's exhausted -- in the best way! They've always been gracious with my sometimes crazy schedule, including last-minute daycare bookings. The daily updates I get while she's boarding are a lifesaver and keep me from obsessively watching her on the cameras all day. I truly feel blessed to have a place I can trust, but even more importantly, a place my girl genuinely wants to keep coming back to every day if she could.

Toffee hanging out in the yard looking relaxed :)
E L.

Just to start- I felt that I HAD to write this review, because I was so pleased with their services! My wife and I were heading out of the country on a week+ trip and our usual relatives boarding situation was a no-go. My dog, Toffee, is a little over 2 years old and has a bit of separation anxiety, so we weren't quite sure how well it might work out by boarding her- she had never been boarded anywhere else. She's well adapted to hang out with dogs, but people, not so much as she's a little suspicious and distrusting of humankind. I thought that BratPak might be a good choice if we had to leave her somewhere for a while- that way she could spend her days mingling with other dogs, rather than being cooped up in a kennel all day, only being taken out for potty breaks. We first did a driveby without Toffee and spoke with Danica. She explained how the daily procedure works and where the dogs would be sleeping. We felt comfortable with that, so we set up a 30-minute interview bringing the dog in to see how she would fare with the other dogs. When she passed the test, we got the green light to leave her there for longer stays without us- the first being 45 minutes, then the second was 2 hours all in preparation of ultimately dropping her off for her 11-day stay. They have two large play yards, but they don't separate the dogs by size, they do it by energy level, which I thought was a better idea, since Toffee actually likes to play with dogs bigger than her. It was thoughtful that there was a plan to ramp her up for the overnight boarding experience. I really appreciated that. While we were on vacation, we could watch her on our cell phones, since they have cameras in the various yards. Every few days, we would get text message updates on how our pup was doing. It was very reassuring to still somehow be connected. All the counselors were great! It was easy to see that they all felt passionate about giving the dogs great care. Leaving Toffee with BratPak was a good thing for everyone. Now we know that we have a safe place to board our dog, where she can make new friends. It was good for Toffee, because it helped her to become a little bit more comfortable and approachable with people. Next time we're in need of boarding, we won't hesitate for a second about leaving her here again!

Loki after daycare
Minju K.

I was a little apprehensive about leaving my precious baby at day care after the pandemic because he was in quarantine for so long without seeing other dogs. I didn't know if he would behave and was scared he would get into fights. They did an assessment with Loki and took the time to explain his interactions with the other dogs. They're really good about keeping an eye of the dogs. He's been so happy to go to daycare and I can keep an eye through the cams. He's so tired after daycare that he sleeps for the rest of the next day. We love it here and I feel safe about leaving Loki with them!

not true - not convenient to do owners

Deeply disappointed especially after using their services for about 2 years . Not all business can keep their customer service high as the initial time of joining or using their service. Flexibility - Absolutely no flexibility, its their way or 'no way' Booked a daycare for Sat april 29th, they asked to bring the dog early at 8 am since my dog dint do day care for 2 months, I mentioned about how far i live and that time wont work and if they can do before 11 AM as per the rules i can drop before 11 AM, my request was rejected as the owner got offended when I mentioned about their policies in my message. Their website says convenience for the owners but not true, complete convenience to them only. Vindictive : 1) Rejecting Service instead of working with the customer for a suitable time that works both for Customer and the Team. 2) immediately Blocked my Dogs Instagram account after rejecting my services, if they really like dogs they wouldn't have done this, I thought i was still trying to work out a deal with them. Policies : Extensive polices that you have to sign that works completely in their favor, to sum up their policies, if anything happens to your dog like anything its not their problem, you cant question them or sue them. Ego and Pride : Mentioned how i like this place and want to stick to them instead of another doggy daycare boarding, immediately rejected my service. Bratpak Team - your services are not free, if it was i wouldnt have asked a single question, since am paying and leaving my child at your place i have every right to ask options for flexibility, but rejectign services for asking questions speaks of your character not mine.

Freshly groomed puppy. Thanks, Virna!
Cindy D.

Having just acquired a new pup, I've utilized their services a few times just this month alone. My 12 week old goldendoodle has been in twice for grooming with Virna. She is extremely thorough and took the time to get him acclimated to being washed and blow dried, while also checking out his nails and cleaning inside his ears. Everyone here is so good with dogs and treats each pup as if they were their own. In addition, Sean, the owner, has come out to our home for private training. We haven't owned a dog in over a decade and definitely not a puppy this young. Sean was very helpful in answering all our questions and giving us a brief "puppy refresher" course. I've also had a tour of their facility and have seen first hand how they treat each dog with the most care and respect. Sean is incredibly knowledgeable about puppy and dog behavior in general and I can tell he truly loves all dogs. My pup is too young for their daycare program (minimum of 4 months amongst some other requirements), but I can't wait to send him here to socialize and play. I'm so glad they opened in Livermore.

I honestly don't know what we'd do without BratPak! We rescued our dog Buddy in December 2019. He was weary of people, especially strangers, but he loves the handlers at daycare. We used to have to pick him up to get him in the car but now he hops right in and gets so excited when he realizes we are on our way to BratPak. This says a lot to me about the handlers, they are amazing and give helpful feedback. I am an extremely paranoid, helicopter "dog mom" and I completely trust BratPak and their handlers with Buddy. They also have live feed cameras that you can utilize anytime to watch your doggy playing. We also love the "cage free" concept. Buddy always has a great night's sleep after spending time at BratPak which allows me to take adorable pictures of him cuddling his toys If you are on the fence about bringing your dog, don't be! It's definitely worth checking out.

We love bringing our pups to the BratPak Doggie Daycare & Boarding. Great staff, facility and online BratKam to checkin & see what our Cooper & Lulu are up to. They have a great obedience training program as well!

Junior & Cookie
Soo L.

Junior is two years old Westie, and he is very friendly with people but isn't with the other dogs. I saw Brat pack on Instagram. We had a plan to have a new puppy, so we decided to put Junior to take socialization classes. We like Seon's approach, and it works a lot. A few days ago, the new puppy came, so we enrolled private class for Junior and the new puppy. Before had a class, Junior and the new puppy, Cookie, were separated. But, after training, he changed his behaviors and no more aggressive. We appreciate it. And, we have another class on Thursday. We're looking forward to having it.

However, my girl has been used for service dog work and always with me. We got our second dog this year and they are great playmates at home as she's not needed to work unless I'm indoors.. We are traveling next March for baseball and trying to cover all bases. We will be staying at a dog friendly home, and saw a Camp Bow Wow in AZ a half mile from our stay. Thought it might be more fun for the dogs to go there then stay home 4-5 hours in a strange place so we should check out our local franchise. The staff here was amazing. Very lovely people and encounters with everyone we spoke with. One of the gals mentioned she brings her own fur baby sometimes and that says enough that she trusts the care and treatment here for her own family. So how did mine do? Well, I had my girl go in first. Our second pup has learned to follow her and thought that would be the best introduction for them as he always wants to go where she does. It doesn't help I just too her to the vet for the vaccines needed to visit and had her nails done and anal glands at the same time.. I think she felt the same stress coming here a couple days later. They said she tried to nip when they put her with other pups, but they let her calm down and relax a bit and then she went in and did just fine. Oddly our newest rescue that shakes at every new experience went in just fine.. again, he knew she was there already, so that went okay. I thank the team here for letting my pups destress and go in with the other. My boys dog looked like he was doing leaps and bounds with others on the doggie cam.. it's a bummer my girl just wanted to lay by the gate and wait 4 hours for me. She didn't cry or do anything bad, nor did Camp Bow Wow, she just wasn't thrilled to be there. I was my big bow get some pats and loves as he will run up for attention, but she didn't get any, and I watched the whole time she was gone (yes, It was a big deal for me too to be away from her).. Not sure if they aren't allowed to go up and pet or comfort dogs that are just laying in the corner, but it would be nice if the did. I will take them back a few more times here in Livermore and see how my girl does. I'm not sure he would do great there without her but might try that too as another option. I just appreciate the people here that didn't give up on letting my pups give doggy daycare a try.

In October 2025, I paid a $855 deposit via Zelle to reserve boarding and requested a refund after canceling. After multiple follow-ups, I was told the refund would be processed. I was later informed that the refund had been sent to the wrong person and would be corrected, with a commitment that it would be completed by February 18, 2026. We don't believe in yelling at the dog or shocking her and freaking her out.
