    Off leash adventures

Starting off this review with a bold statement - Training for Trust is life changing! Our dog Archie was a highly anxious and nervous Rottweiler mix. He had never shown aggressive tendencies but anything new and different to him would send him into a panic. With a young toddler in the house who could be unpredictable, we didn't want to take any risks with unfortunate accidents. We reached out to Ellie and Owen for help. Sending your dog away to anyone for an extended stay is a big decision. Upon speaking to Ellie, she really put any uncertainties we had at ease. It was obvious that she was experienced and most importantly, caring, and took the time to listen to our concerns and came up with a plan for our goals. After spending 3.5 weeks with Ellie and Owen, Archie came back to us as Archie 2.0. Everything that we loved about him still remained but you could tell he was in a better headspace. It was like therapy for him. He just seemed a lot calmer and more at ease in different situations and he would look to us for guidance instead of spiraling in his own head. He also learned how to walk so nicely on leash, which was important to me since I'm regularly pushing a baby stroller. We could also take him anywhere (outdoor cafes and restaurants), and he gets to enjoy off leash adventures because of his great recall. The world is now bigger and more enjoyable to him. Thanks to Ellie, Archie is the perfect family pet for us. It was the best investment that we could have made for him. There's also no other person I'd trust with handling Archie. Whenever we need someone to watch him, we reach out to Ellie and Owen first. Archie also looks forward to every visit and hanging out with their pack. They are simply the best.

However, my girl has been used for service dog work and always with me. We got our second dog this year and they are great playmates at home as she's not needed to work unless I'm indoors.. We are traveling next March for baseball and trying to cover all bases. We will be staying at a dog friendly home, and saw a Camp Bow Wow in AZ a half mile from our stay. Thought it might be more fun for the dogs to go there then stay home 4-5 hours in a strange place so we should check out our local franchise. The staff here was amazing. Very lovely people and encounters with everyone we spoke with. One of the gals mentioned she brings her own fur baby sometimes and that says enough that she trusts the care and treatment here for her own family. So how did mine do? Well, I had my girl go in first. Our second pup has learned to follow her and thought that would be the best introduction for them as he always wants to go where she does. It doesn't help I just too her to the vet for the vaccines needed to visit and had her nails done and anal glands at the same time.. I think she felt the same stress coming here a couple days later. They said she tried to nip when they put her with other pups, but they let her calm down and relax a bit and then she went in and did just fine. Oddly our newest rescue that shakes at every new experience went in just fine.. again, he knew she was there already, so that went okay. I thank the team here for letting my pups destress and go in with the other. My boys dog looked like he was doing leaps and bounds with others on the doggie cam.. it's a bummer my girl just wanted to lay by the gate and wait 4 hours for me. She didn't cry or do anything bad, nor did Camp Bow Wow, she just wasn't thrilled to be there. I was my big bow get some pats and loves as he will run up for attention, but she didn't get any, and I watched the whole time she was gone (yes, It was a big deal for me too to be away from her).. Not sure if they aren't allowed to go up and pet or comfort dogs that are just laying in the corner, but it would be nice if the did. I will take them back a few more times here in Livermore and see how my girl does. I'm not sure he would do great there without her but might try that too as another option. I just appreciate the people here that didn't give up on letting my pups give doggy daycare a try.

Somehow we found Hailey and called her and explained our situation and she accommodated us. Our child, Peter, is high energy dog . She told us to bring him in and she will evaluate. When I brought him in I was worried and had to tell her again that he is high energy to make sure everything would be ok. She met him and took him in and made sure I left feeling confident. She told me if he was uncomfortable she would take him home with her so he would be able to sleep. 100% would recommend Hailey. Outstanding to see how she handles all types of dogs and their behaviors to accommodate them and make them and their parents feel safe.

I reached out to Hailey after a positive referral. During our initial visit, she was very professional and helpful, and the facility seemed well run. We ultimately chose a home-based daycare for our 6-month-old puppy and canceled well in advance. In October 2025, I paid a $855 deposit via Zelle to reserve boarding and requested a refund after canceling. After multiple follow-ups, I was told the refund would be processed. I was later informed that the refund had been sent to the wrong person and would be corrected, with a commitment that it would be completed by February 18, 2026. Unfortunately, I never received it, and there has been no resolution since. I've attempted to follow up via phone (calls are no longer being accepted), WhatsApp (messages are read but not responded to), and email, but have not received any response. At this point, I am still waiting on the refund and have had to pursue formal channels to resolve this. I hope this can be resolved promptly.
