Harmony resting after a fun day at daycare
    Charles M.

We've been bringing our 6-month-old cattle dog mix, Harmony, to Dog Time Stay and Play for about a month now, and it's been a great experience. On her first visit, we tried putting her with the big dogs. She was a little unsure and spent most of the time sitting off to the side, just observing. The staff was incredible--always present, patient, and clearly paying close attention. On her second visit, they moved her to the "sleepy dogs" group (low-energy big dogs), and she started to warm up. By the third visit, they tried her with the small dogs, and her confidence took off. She was eventually ready to rejoin the big dogs--and that's when she really came to life. Now, Harmony's excited to go, runs right in, and has made several dog friends--especially a Dalmatian that belongs to the staff or owner. I love checking the webcams and seeing her play, rest, and engage comfortably. The staff also makes sure to manage energy levels and gives her breaks when needed. We've even boarded her--first for one night, then for five while we were out of town--and everything went perfectly. She came home happy, tired, and a little more confident each time. Dog Time has been a game-changer for us. Harmony loves it, and we feel completely at ease knowing she's in such good hands.

Update: staff did not tell us he got bit, period. staff said he had displayed aggressive behavior although he has never shown that at any day care boarding facility before or around other people or dogs. staff did not offer more information at pick up and only said "he had a lot of energy that he didn't know what to do with it". staff should work on communication with clients and suggest recommendations rather than just banning them and being rude. I left my pet there for boarding over the weekend and I would check in on my pet daily during his stay through their cameras that operate during "business hours". He would be playing with other dogs, walking around, sleeping, having a good time. No issues (supposedly until the last day). I had scheduled a bath for him on his last day and when the front desk person went to grab him from his kennel he comes out and his face is completely dirty - what a horrible bath. Additionally he has a bite on his face. I don't understand what happened here when the cameras were off but he did not get a proper bath and he got bit without any mention of it. I wouldn't bring your dogs here.

I love this place! When I brought my puppy Labrador home I was aware of the amount of energy he would have and knowing I work full time I needed to quickly figure something out for him ! Once he was the proper age I had him signed up for an evaluation. He did great and since then Moose goes twice a week to daycare I have also used their boarding services and it was heaven sent I emailed Tony that first day and he updated me with how Moose was doing. They took very detailed notes about his needs and feeding schedules I really appreciated that they also worked me in providing a treat when he was kenneled since he was still figuring out that kennel was a safe space. What sold me on this place was the cameras and that they send pictures during his playtime also the fact that it's only 10 min from my home and 5 from my job doesn't hurt at all lol. I can't say enough good things about this place. I love my Moose and he loves going to play with his friends at school. When i updated my budget this fell under the "Need" category. Looking forward to many more play times and sleepovers with Moose!!!!

Took our puppy Gus to beginner training and couldn't be more happy with the results. Gus really came out of his shell and did great. Krista was so patient and gave extra help when needed. We also tried daycare and loved it.

My dog gets very excited for three words walk, park, and daycare. This is her home away from home since she was a puppy. From overnight boarding to daycare during the week, I know she is safe. A great daycare and reasonable rates!

5 mth old Boerboel, sit and stay mastered, good boy!

Their pricing is more than reasonable, and the services are the best. Molly was recommended by a friend as "the dog whisperer" and that is correct. We have a little senior guy who loves other doggo's but doesn't have any teeth to defend himself, so it has been really difficult to find a boarder for him to be safe. Even having friends who he is familiar with staying at the house hasn't worked out. Insert Doggy Lama. We did a trial run of boarding with Molly, and he passed so we were able to schedule a weeklong vacation knowing he would have the best time. He got to hang out with some other senior dogs and have long walks in the wilderness and lots of doggo time. Molly kept us posted daily with pictures of our little man being a dog. The experience way outperformed expectations. We are working to sign our guy up for some walking adventures throughout the week. Go see Doggy Lama for all your needs.

When Wilma first started going to Molly, she was a shy and timid pup who wasn't comfortable being off leash. Over time, with Molly's patience and care (and the help of Fabrizzio and the other amazing walkers), Wilma has grown so much in confidence. Every time I drop her off she always goes running to her, that alone shows her true character. She has a huge back yard that is perfect for sun bathing and has snacks on snacks on snacks! She keeps the area clean and always does what she can to make my dot feel comfortable while I am away. I especially love when she sends me picture updates. Here are a few!

This is in response to Lucia's comment below…read more 1) He did not have existing scratches. Mickey stayed here for boarding from June 24-July 8. Please look at the newly added picture of his nose just the day before drop-off. Where are the scratches? Don't lie. I also have texts of you admitting you didn't notice the scratches on his nose during his stay or how they formed when we asked about it. Those are new scratches. 2) He recently stayed at another boarding center, Club K9 in Sunol, and he was fine. Zero issues. He came back with all A's on his report card. The handlers handled him fine. Multiple people were able to leash him and take him out without a problem. I highly recommend them for boarding. They have multiple people on site watching the dogs, instead of two. They have a better handle on the dogs and any situations that may arise. Aside from this experience that you claimed, I had zero experience of him showing any aggression to myself or others (including strangers). I'm not saying he didn't bite you or your nephew, I'm saying something or someone must've triggered it cause this has never happened before. NEVER. Since this was my first boarding experience, I went in blindly and trusted her version of what was happening, the biting, the fighting, etc.. After my second boarding experience elsewhere, I am more skeptical than ever about why Mickey was acting the way he was at Lucia's. I find it odd that he was showing aggression. He has stayed with me a total of 5 months now, 1 and a half months when I dropped him off at Lucia's, and was unsure of how he would act there since I've never done this before. After spending 5 months with him, the dog she described does not align with what I've been seeing on a daily basis. He has been in several foster homes and has never had any experience with aggression. Some homes included other dogs and cats. In regards to Lucia's comment "Which part of this are you taking responsibility for?" I should have researched your boarding center more and taken the 1-star reviews on yelp and google reviews more seriously. This was my first ever boarding experience and I wasn't sure what to look for or ask. During the meet and greet, there were no other dogs present but she assured me it was fine and that he would fit right in. Red flag #1 -- Since Lucia was the "expert" I trusted her judgment, although my partner questioned why there weren't any dogs around to be sure Mickey got along with them. Red flag #2 -- One person looking after 6+ dogs? I should've known better. Red flag #3 -- When feeding him the first night, he got into the other dogs' food. He has food allergies, I specifically asked for him to be isolated. She assured me MULTIPLE times that wasn't a problem. The instructions weren't followed and I have the texts to prove it. Red flag #4 -- He is kennel trained. He sleeps and eats in his crate since he went to the rescue and prior with his previous owners. One of the nights you let him out of the crate to feed him a snack in the middle of the night with your senior dog present when you could've just slip it into the crate. I'm not sure why he attacked your dog and I truly apologize if he did, but several of these situations could've been prevented had my instructions been followed. I should have pulled him out, but I had no one there to take care of him. If I could go back, I would've found somewhere else. I take responsibility for not doing more research and asking the proper questions during the meet and greet process. There are reviews of dogs getting loose during their stay and Lucia running down the block and yelling within the boarding facility and she acknowledges it in her replies there. I should've looked at all of this prior to our stay. That was my mistake. I let a lot of the red flags slide and put my dog's health and safety in jeopardy. If you have time, take a look at the reviews on google and dig further in yelp. I stand by my statement that if you have a rescue dog, please take them elsewhere. And based on the tone and replies to negative reviews, you should reconsider letting your dog stay here even if your dog is well-socialized and easy to care for.
