I'm reluctantly posting this because I am scared I will eventually have a hard time getting a seat here during season. This is the best overall food/presentation in Southwest Florida. If you like eating at chain restaurants - this place is not for you. If you feel like dining is meant to be an experience. Come check out chef Matt. He will not disappoint. French onion, crispy yellowtail, and bread and butter service(trust me) are must trys. I've only been twice and have not tried any of the main courses yet but I will get there. Pro tip - sit at the bar. Fun to watch the preparation right in front of you.

Wow this chef is next level. Everything we had was delicious. If you're a foodie it's a must.

What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is so well appointed even down to the dishware. They have a very nice selection of wine. Also a very tasty menu. We tried the baked brie, frog legs, beet salad, and steak and frites . It was amazing! 1000% would I go back. I recommend a reservation.

I heard about this place from a friend. My girl and love French food and decided to stop by. We had 7pm reservations and Eddie was our server helping us out. Awesome food. Great service. Even better fresh bread. We had a relaxing meal for a very reasonable price. We'll be back for sure!

As I've grown accustomed to doing, I first heard about this place by asking a fellow diner at my favorite restaurant (shoutout Liberty) if they had any recommendations in the area. He immediately said to go to Azure, and so we did on a quaint Thursday night. Unassuming from the outside, quiet on the inside with tasteful decor and a welcoming atmosphere. We sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen/prep area and feasted. Service was attentive and pleasant, tastefully toeing the line between attentive and aloof. They'll also say "thank you" a lot during the meal. A lot. Like when you order, when you get your food, when they take your plates away, when they bring you your check. You get the idea. It's a charming little schtick that was at first disorienting, but soon became endearing. Food was good. Very good. Anything with a purée should be a priority. Bread and butter tasted like very good toasty bread and very good salty butter. Bacon was so very smoky and deliciously salty, and definitely needed the arugula/mustard/cheese/currant accoutrements. Escargot in a creamy sauce were delightful. Olives were great to snack on throughout. French onion soup was nicely sweet and rich, but not heavy. For the mains we had the pork chop (with celeriac purée that I want infused via IV in my arm) and the Chilean sea bass special (with a beet purée that should be IV'd into my other arm). The charred cabbage that comes with the pork chop was probably confit-ed in delicious butter for a year then quickly grilled; I don't particularly enjoy cabbage, and I could probably eat a veritable wheelbarrow full of Azure's rendition. If I had to knock anything I'd say the beet didn't exactly hi-light the fish, and the pork chop was a bit over. Dessert was beignets and the mousse. Get the mousse if you're on the fence. Dark and delectable. Azure is a bit quirky in the service department, and rock solid on the food side. Undoubtedly a top-3 restaurant in the Fort Myers area, and one I'm excited to explore more in the near future.

Excellent meal tonight with wonderful service. Every dish was a delight to the senses! We'd have stayed longer but there was a super loud woman a couple tables over...modulation, darlings especially in a charming restaurant. Looking forward to monthly visits here!

    Chablis and crostini. Peekaboo.

We were guests in what our hosts described as "their favorite restaurant" and Yelp awards a 4-stars review...my conclusion was: either the restaurant was having a really bad night or reviewers have lost their understanding of what a 4-stars restaurant should be like. Our hosts ordered a bottle of white Bordeaux which the owner poured in our glasses as if she was pouring the lowly Sarasota water, filled our glasses almost to the top practically emptying the bottle. Then it was time to order, the lady host asked for the foie gras appetizer which she had absolutely recommended...Sorry, we are out! Appetizers: we ordered 2 Escargots, and the Homemade Country Pâté. The Escargots in herb butter were tasteless (I had to add some salt) and one of the snails was full of stones and grit. Main course: I asked for the Homemade Country Pâté which was portioned significantly less than what our host had gotten...was it to punish me for ordering 2 appetizers? My husband ordered the lamb chops...4 chops cooked to the point where they were tough, and a potato gratin reminiscent of a brick. Our hosts ordered the Pork Marco Polo and the Smoked Salmon Salad. I cannot comment on their entrees even though a comment was made that the pork was overcooked. The Salmon Salad did not look appetizing. But, the 'pièce de resistance' was when our host ordered Crêpe Suzette and was told that 'we are out of orange jam'...whaaat? You can find orange jam in any grocery store, you should never run out of orange jam. We have dined in many restaurant that we felt were subpar, this one won first price. Needless to say, will never go back.

I ordered the French onion soup and it was very good. Hubby ordered the devilled eggs with bacon pieces in them. Again very good, he even likes them better than mine. (Which is his mother's recipe BTW) I told him I will try to make them the restaurants way. I ordered the chicken on a croissant and bechamel sauce with the greens. I would have liked the greens separate from my meal, cause it made them a little soggy, but overall they were very good. Hubby ordered a bacon & chicken meal in a sauce with mashed potatoes. Absolutely loved this! Wish we had more sauce on it, it was soooo good. I did get an eclair to go and it was really good also. Bottom line, I will be coming back here, I would love to try a quiche. My request is that they put vichyssoise on the menu. I sure love me a cold potato soup.
