My second visit here need not disappoint. When I thought there was nothing to improve, the owner made this visit even more memorable. He still kept the personal visit while making sure every table was well tended to. I tried the short rib special and I don't think I'll ever a better short rib anywhere (and I do order short rib quite ofren). I'll be sure to continue to come and support Nonchalance both in and out of season.

Nice little restaurant in a small strip mall. Nice ambiance, but very noisy. Owners and staff very friendly. Limited menu, but decent variety. Longer wine list than I would have expected and at reasonable prices. Food prices were also very reasonable. But, be prepared to wait and wait and wait for your food . Ours took over thirty minutes to arrive . Two of us had fish and chips. The fish was cod and delivered piping hot. The crust of panko and flour was crispy as it should be. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside...perfect. The tarter sauce had a spring of fresh dill that really brought it to life. My wife had chicken pot pie. She said it was tasty, but the bread topping was brittle, somewhat confusing the presentation. So when you come, pretend you're in Europe and just enjoy the company of others and forget about the long wait...

Another amazing wine dinner here, with Montepulciano winery owner Alessio Antonini. The evening was joyful, surprising and very satisfying! porchetta skin= meat candy, the cacio e ove was fluffy, the cioppino redemptive. This place is inspired, playful and comforting!

What an enjoyable little spot! The decor is cute and funky, welcoming and fun. Prices are very reasonable. They have an extensive wine menu. I tried the dank nug sandwich and my friend had the Ross and Rachel. The nugs were plentiful and seasoned really well, and the nonchalance sauce was delicious. Everything was very fresh and made to order. Service was a little slow but it wasn't a big deal as we weren't in a rush. We were not offered dessert and the checks were dropped before I was finished eating - not huge deals, I think they are still working some things out. Definitely make a reservation as they are small and busy!! We both greatly enjoyed our food and want to return to try more items. Be sure to stop in and give this hidden gem a try!

The food was full of robust flavors. The flavor combinations were divine & creative. The service was excellent. Although we did not have reservations they still seated us, that alone should give you an idea of the level of service!

All I had was some rolls. They were decent, but not mind blowing. The environment/decor was weird. Service was good. Everything took a long time, but you have to expect that with the whole place being run by two people (not a complaint). I'd recommend at least checking it out, but make sure you're not in a hurry and reservations may be a good idea, as it is a small space.

Was a great evening! There were six of us plus a toddler. All range of tastes. We ordered a lot of different things - from apps to dessert - and they were all excellent! The wine list was good as well. Good food and friendly, interesting people. Definitely will be back and recommend.

i thought it would be a hidden gem, or a diamond in the ROUGH, but let me tell you... it was ROUGH. we got the fattest fries ever and we wanted thin fries. the DANK NUGGS were mediocre. the blind date i attended was SUPERIOR so i was expecting the food to match the standards there were some small children staring at us while we waited for the restroom (the stares came from inside the one person restroom while the other small child was completing the urination process) where someone HID THE TP!!! the pasta was drier than my last relationship (NJB bob does not adore you) although we learned a valuable lesson on deceiving others... i feel personally violated since a homeless male individual was staring at my blind date and her perfect daughter during the entirety of the encounter my date complained that the TP (toilet paper) was to hard to find, so she didn't wipe (led to issues during our private dive) nonchalances did not provide for my need of horCHaTa. i enjoyed my dining experience, and when i was swimming in an aquarium in japan, a shark stole my panties, leaving me afraid and exposed. the lighting in the bathroom was good.

Great service, wonderful food, friendly owners, unique dishes, easy to get to. I'll be back soon!

This is my favorite local restaurant. They are a true family restaurant run by an experienced chef/sommelier couple and their awesome kids. They put a lot of thought and care into their food and extensive wine list. Ask for a recommended pairing (or better yet a flight). Reservations recommended. And this is a great place to relax and enjoy your time.

Two sauces two toppings--marinara and pesto for sauces, pepperoni and sausage for toppings. It has a very thin crust. It was absolutely delicious! You could fold the crust and eat it NY style. Plenty of flavors and the crust had just the right chewy texture. All in all I can't say I could find any flaws in the pizza. I could eat it every week if I lived closer.

The pizza was excellent great crust, quality toppings, the kind of pie that reminds you why you came here in the first place. And the Tribute? Smooth, easy drinking, perfect pairing for a pizza night done right. Service was solid, no complaints there. Friendly, attentive, got the job done. But. That pizza took its sweet time coming out. We're not talking a little wait we're talking enough time to really get acquainted with that bottle of wine. Look, good pizza takes time, I get it. But when you're hungry and staring at an empty table, every minute feels like ten. And then there's the thing I can't unsee. Watched one of the staff folding pizza boxes, and she dropped one on the floor. Picked it up. Folded it. Put it right back in the stack like nothing happened. Now, maybe that box never holds anyone's pizza. Maybe it gets tossed later. But from where I was sitting? Suspect. That's the kind of thing that sticks with you. The Verdict: The Don pizza is excellent, the wine selection is on point, and the service is perfectly fine. But the long wait and that questionable box situation keep this one at four stars. Grimaldi's, we love your pizza just tighten up the details.

That said--Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Myers absolutely crushed it. I do my own version of "One bite, everyone knows the rules!" and let me tell you... this pizza passes with flying colors. Perfect crust, great balance of sauce and cheese, and that fold? Legit. This is the kind of slice that makes you stop talking mid-bite. For a Florida pizza, this would honestly knock Dave Portnoy off his feet. If you didn't tell me where I was, I'd believe this place could hold its own back home in NYC. If you're anywhere near Fort Myers and craving real-deal pizza, Downtown House of Pizza is a must. Brooklyn-approved, no debate.

Funny enough, our Airbnb host put together a local guide for us and she also recommended Downtown House of Pizza. Plus, they've been in business for 20 years, so we figured it must be good. I ordered a 16" NY style pie with pepperoni and hot honey sausage -- Wow, it was so dang delicious! A little sweet and a little spicy, just the way I like it. Delivery was quick and the staff member who delivered it was so nice. The slices were large and we had plenty left over for the next day. I may or may not have eaten pizza for breakfast. Glad we listened to the locals and tried this place while we were in town!

They have cute pics on the wall. We enjoyed the atmosphere. It was not busy at 5:00 pm on the Saturday after Christmas. However, our server Emily said they had a large lunch rush and that they have been steadily busy since opening July 2025. We also love wings, so we ordered 10 lightly tossed with hot sauce. Like other reviews, I can confirm that the wings are large, juicy and meaty. The hot sauce wasn't terribly hot and had a bit of a sweet taste to it. The accompanying ranch dressing tasted home made. Our pizza was a meat lovers with extra cheese. Toppings included Sausage, Pepperoni and Bacon. It was very meaty. But, the best part of this thin crust pizza is that their crust is crispy, which we love after living in St. Louis for many years. In fact, if they used provel cheese vs mozzarella, it could stand in for a St, Louis style pizza. Very tasty, we loved it. Emily was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We met the owner who is the cook and she was also very friendly. We loved the signed bills on the wall, so we added one of our own. We will look for it during our next visit.
