Found this gem in Vacaville from a co-worker referral. Whaat .. found a gold mine!! Location: Easy to get to, across from Starz Bowling Center, next to the Nugget Marketplace Private lot for parking, donation center what front and center, but not blocking the entrance. Freeway to hop on 80 west was right at the intersection. Easy on and easy off. Store: It's hella big, pretty organize and surprisingly clean. Rows and rows of clothes, knick nacks, larger items towards the back corner. They even had pillow covers. I went after Halloween 2015 and they had all the costume and accessories 50% off .. most had tags on them and didn't look like they were 5 seasons old #score I will definitely go back and possibly even donate some items. This is by far my favorite thrift store. Great prices, beautifully organized, so clean. You hardly ever find a thrift store so clean and well organized. They give you a discount when you donate to them and clothes that don't get resold at this location are donated to third world countries!! Their name is a lie. You will not save money here- in fact, you will pay more than brand new at retail. I can't speak for the clothes as I mainly shop for household goods. I can not tell you how many times I see Dollar Store items here marked 3.99 or original price stickers that are less than their prices! Also lots of chipped or broken items, too. Great thrift store. A friend who lives in VV told me about it. I live in Cordelia and usually shop at Goodwill but their prices are getting high so...I try to catch them when they have the 50% off clothing sale once/ month. But, GW now has some competition and it's worth the drive to VV. Love how organized the store is and they even have a membership so you can receive coupons and promotions. I'm only giving one star because I have to give one. Went today to donate clothes. I had 2 bags in my hand and was at the door to drop my donations and the employee closed the donation center door and said "sorry, I understand the sign says we accept donations till "blah blah" time, but we stop half an hour before closing. We have to put the sign there but it's up to our discretion to stop when we want to, and I can't take the donations if I need to finish my job for the night." Excuse me? The sign says 8, but it's 7. Guess my donations aren't needed. I don't want the used True Religion jeans or scratched table from 1983 in your store, you don't need my barely worn clothes. I had a homeless guy asking for my clothes. If it wasn't mostly dresses and and girl clothes I would have given him all the bags of clothes. I will never donate or shop there again. read more

This place is EXTREMELY picky and expects brand new items to be donated. Attached is a picture of my cherry wood dresser that I attempted to donate. Guess what they said? They said,"it has scratches on it and we aren't sure if we can take it" really? You're getting a FREE dresser that you can take and sell to profit your business and you don't want it Bc it has "scratches" on it?? And btw, it IS a USED item what do you expect? Something brand new with no scratches?? I thought the dresser was nice-maybe needs painting or staining but it's still a good working WOOD dresser!!! So, finally the idiot agrees to take it. Must have twisted his arm on that, as WE (meaning my husband and I) were unloading this heavy piece, my special needs mentally disabled son is sitting on the truck ALONE Bc this piece of garbage worker won't get off his a** to help us unload. He was LITERALLY sitting around B.S-ing with a friend. Since when does savers employee workers to sit around and B.S.?? I literally had to ask him to get up and help us. Bad place to donate bad place to shop-7.99$ for a USED shirt is crazy, it must be made of gold or something. Even Kohl's is cheaper than that. Went there for the first time today with my mom and their staff were rude. Went to check out their jewelry section that they kept in their glass case and they had no patience. Had to find a staff that could help us out and she was called to take care of something else. She made a bag for us as we were still looking at more jewelries. She sent someone else to help us and she was so ignorant. She was huffing and puffing as if we're a big inconvenience. Another coworker was mentioning that she's going on break and she completely said out loud "hold up wait for me" then turned her back on us and started talking about us. I stared at her and thought that was rude and she looked away. My mom told her that if she wants to leave she could as she'll continue to browse around. The lady immediately said "okay" chuckled and and walked away just like that to take her break. We walked out of the store and didnt buy anything from them. Worst experience ever. read more

This used to be my favorite thrift store, but the pricing changed and I don't feel like I'm really getting a deal. Most items are overpriced, especially the shoes. I politely asked a cashier to hold an item behind the register for me until I was ready to check out, and she snapped at me. "NO. Take it with you". I thought she was joking at first because she was smiling when she said it. After I gave her a confused look she said "seriously, either grab a basket or put it back on the shelf where you found it!". This is the only time an employee has been rude to me so I just brushed it off. Be nicer to your customers please. read more

Nice large selection and a very clean setting. As with a lot of thrift stores the women's section eclipses the men's but there's a good selection. The jean section is massive with a lot of nice brands! Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren aplenty. The jerseys were well picked through but that could have been my timing, ok t shirt selection and tons of button ups. I even found a Givenchy tie, it was heavily stained but still lol. I went here and looking for a item that they said on the phone that they had and i get there and there nothing there i then speak to a employee and she told me she was on break and couldn't help me for 15 minuets and anyone back there can't help me because there all on break i go and find another employee and she started smashing things down and just seemed she was just very irritated that she had to help a customer which is part of her job i then go to the register and ask a lady and she wasn't rude but was very clueless about everything i then spoke to the manager and he makes it seem like it was nothing and that it was just something that happens often i will not be coming here again horrible customer service. read more

Savers is one of my fav "go to" thrift stores. At times I fell like it can be a hit or miss but for the most part, I always walk out with something. It's pretty clean and organized in there. Certain days of the week the color on the prices tags can have a extra percentage off. If you sign up for the email, they send you emails that will say things like, "50% off jeans this Wednesday ", etc. Also, if you donate there, they have punch cards and if you get a certain amount of punches you get a discount on your next shopping trip. Really want to support this group. We have a lot of options for donating here in Solano County and I loved to support this group, but i will not be after today. Took a car load of clothes, speakers, bags, jewelry, and misc items to donate from Suisun only to be greeted rudely but the attendant Ben. Completely impolite, called my donation "junk" even before looking at the items I had. Then proceeded to talk crap about my donation to the next patron and ignore me before I was done. Manager offered a weak apology, but apparently they don't need the assistance of the community anymore. Please weigh you options carefully when looking to support a local charity. Thank you Savers for being awesome and gladly taking our donations on a Monday evening. All three gentlemen were very helpful. We initially went to the Goodwill after calling to confirm they'd accept our desk, dresser, bookshelves, office equipment, iPod, massive CD collection, purses, clothing, toys, bedrooms bedding and curtain sets... we were sent away from the Goodwill who said they were closing at 5pm, but just told us they were open until 9pm and yes, accepting donations. Terrible customer service Went in was waiting at their boutique 20 minutes then the lady harps on me about my service dog asking me several times not letting up. Rude non-compassionate people in this store . After telling them more than once they kept on me about my service animal to the point I was shaking and then had the nerve to sick their security on me who comes out to my vehicle being rude . Very clean thrift store. Love the 30% discount cards you get from donating. It's like trading your clothes, very cool. Management is very friendly and I have never experienced a sales clerk I didn't like. There are a few new clerks that are really sweet. I visit here about once a month. I always come home with goodies and have fun. I have to have a good 3 hours as I like to browse EVERY section, afraid to miss something! They put new things out daily. Once I went just like 3 days later and found a bunch of new things, so the inventory is always updated. I'm always happy after a fun trip to Savers. It's close by my house and I must say my favorite thrift stores,I've been thrifting for years. read more

Way overpriced. Heres a few "bargain" I seen on my last trip. Lots of dollar tree items being sold for $3 and up (had dollar tree tags on bottom). 10 used plastic hangers for $3? Expired baby formula sample $4.99. Rolls of weed blocking fabric with $3.00 Big Lots price tags being sold for $6.99. The list goes on and on. On the flip side the store is clean and well organized but so is Walmart. Might as well go there and get the same stuff cheaper and new. read more

Great new thrift store! HUGE store that has a ton of merchandise to browse through. I found most of the prices to be reasonable, especially when compared to other thrift stores in the area. I have been a fan of the Savers stores in Reno, so this is a great addition to Vacaville. On the day I was there the employees were super helpful and knowledgable about upcoming sales. I signed up for a frequent Savers card and was told that when you donate items the store you get a 20% off discount for that days purchases! read more

I bought a electronic Roomba Vacuum from this location. I asked the cashier what their return policy is and he said "two days". The vacuum doesn't work so I took a look at my receipt and it says I may only exchange for a same day store credit. I called the store for clarification and the customer service rep confirmed that they will only exchange the item for a credit. If they would have told me that they only exchange items when I asked what the RETURN policy is than I never would have purchased it. I will never shop here again. I hate having to write this review because I absolutely love this thrift store. It is by far my favorite I've been to. However, my past visit left me feeling pretty disappointed. I am a huge fan of Savers because they have so many great membership deals and sales. When you donate 6 bags of donations, you receive a 30% off coupon. I was so excited to finally receive and use my 30% off coupon on a purchase of $80. I didn't realize until I got home that the cashier had taken my coupon but didn't ring it up. I went back, about an hour before they closed, to get my refund. When I got there, I approached a cashier and explained my situation. She then contacted her manager. The manager came over and immediately seemed tired, annoyed and rude. He was being extremely short to me and the cashier. After about 5 minutes of them trying to figure out how they could give me my money back, I said "if it's easier, I could just accept another 30% off coupon." The manager looks at me and rudely says "well why didn't you say that in the beginning?" I replied " because I just thought of it". I couldn't believe how rude he was being to someone who just bought $80 worth of stuff from his store! He was also being rude to the worker because she accidentally typed in something wrong on the cashier while issuing my refund. They eventually ended up giving me my refund but I was so put off by how the manager treated me for a mistake his own staff made!! Most of the other workers there are great and friendly and helpful. This is the first bad experience I've had here. Hopefully there won't be any more in the future. read more

Went to Savers on the evening of 1-17-2015. There was an African American young woman that was my cashier with Operator ID 7333. Didn't catch her name. She was the rudest person I've ever met. When asked if she could give a discount on a ripped shirt, she rudely stated no and that shirt shouldn't have been out on the floor to sell. We could pay full price or the store would have to donate it. She treated us HORRIBLY! Then had a pair of roller skates with a price tag ripped half off. So I asked how much they were. She then lectured me that those can not be sold without a tag. She acted like it was my fault for it not having a price tag! She was extremely demeaning and has no business working customer service. Clean nice store with a regular non thrift feel. I have been several times this week, found lots of great finds. French connection, Puma, Gap, Billabong, Vasque, Abercrombie, Element, American Eagle, Vaneli and several others I purchased this week alone. All name brand and most of what I have bought was new never before worn. Prices are a bit higher than a usual thrift store but that's ok for the labels. Have been here several times. The store is huge and really neat, organized and clean. It even has some kind of air freshener/deoderizer throughout the store which is my favorite thing. It doesn't smell like old stale items like goodwill and other thift stores. Some prices are pretty good, but most I've seen are a little on the high side. However, I think its probably still cheaper than goodwill and you can definitely find something for a real steal! But be quick....items are gone fast!! read more

My brother and I donated clothes and we got a 30% off card plus a form for taxes. We went right in to the store and shopped. Great items and friendly people. The store says on Yelp that it is open until 6pm tonight, Sunday night March 5, 2017 but they are actually open until 8pm. This is by far the cleanest/well-maintained thrift store I've ever been to but that's pretty much the only good thing about this store. I'm really disappointed at the quality of stuff they sell around here nowadays. I don't know what happened but things have changed. Last few times I've been here I bought bags of cool stuff but today, I only left with 3 decent items. I'm mainly referring to the clothings. A lot of items had holes, stains & are super worn-out but they're tagged for $5.99 or $9.99 a piece. Good heavens! They're not even designer items. I can now say the quality of items here are now comparable to Goodwill's but pricier. How sad. No longer worth the drive from Sacramento. I'll stick with EcoThrift. read more

My preference in Thrift store shopping is as follows, 1. Savers/ Value Village.( value village I believe is the East Coast Name of savers.) By far Savers/Value Village is the best 2. Goodwill (pretty well organized also) 3. Salvation Army (usually poorly organized, but find good household stuff) I like savers because of it's organization at style. Everything is organized by the style of clothing and sizes. For example, there is a long sleeve shirts aisle, and it is organized by size also. In Goodwill they just usually put a lot of different tops together by color. Although they do have some well organized Good wills , savers is always well organized and has a good selection. Although, you might come in looking for a sweater for yourself. Take a look around because you will definitely find great stuff for your kids too and all members of the family. My wife is pregnant with our second child, and it's a girl. With our son we had a lot of hand me downs and new clothes. He barely wore most of his wardrobe because he grew so fast. So my wife has been buying the baby lots of clothes here for her. Its great buying a carters outfit for $2.99 versus $16.00. The one thing I don't like is the household furniture area. Even though we don't buy it and are not really looking to buy anything; the selection usually is 70's looking or looks terribly abused. read more

guys... this place is just okay. pros: it is CLEAN. things are well organized by sizes and easy to flip through. that being said: is this a thrift store, or like not really?? jeans for $12 and $27 bucks. most dresses $10-$15. i have a strict moral code against buying something i could get new at TJ's for the same price, ya know? i browsed for two hours (don't judge my time stewardship) and bought a pair of very cute gap boots for $10. allow me to get on my soapbox for literally three seconds: the book prices are ABSURD. for someone's well read paperback, i was to pay two quarters, maybe a buck max.
