Absolutely Gorgeous thrift store. A good %age of merchandises are brand new as they are donated by different brand name companies, and one can see they still have the original New item tags on. Even the ones that are not, are generally of an Ultra fresh condition. The prices are unbelievably low for the great quality they're in. Once a week they have a specific tag color that is 50% off for the entire week. if one for example like something of which the price tag happens to be yellow, and Yellow is the discount tag of the week, whatever the price is, 50% will be subtracted off that at the check out! Once a month, on average, they usually have as close to BLACK FRIDAY as one could hope for, as they get 1000's of new items on daily basis, and the select merchandise is usually 50% on the specified days. Every Tuesday, Seniors get 30% off anything they purchase. And If for example one cleans up their house and turn in bunch of items they no longer use, depending how big the load one drops off as a donation, they get a coupon of 30% to use for their next purchase. So if you donate something, don't be cheap. Each time I dropped a huge load of clean mint condition stuff, I got my coupon for future use right then and there. Some drop off couple of shirts and a pair of useless jeans and expect to get the coupon. You are not going to get it. They will give you a card with one stamp on it, that's it. You will have to make 5 or 6 more donations to get the full use of the coupon. If one joins their email list, one gets alerts about any weekly/monthly sales they might have scheduled, so they don't miss out on the great deals and bargains. Their employees are Xtremely nice. Music is loud, atmosphere is festive. The place is huge as it used to be SUPER Ralphs Store. I absolutely love this place. Oh, ...almost forgot. The book section. I call it "My Barnes & Nobles", only Better than B&N... Just about every book one cares to read. Anything from spiritual/religion section, to medical, to reference, to self help/Business/psychology, to history, to biographies, to travel, Nature, Pets, cooking, to kids books, to novels. science and health, etc.. they have It ALL!!! And the books prices as in mint condition never go beyond 3.50 $ each. the Brand new ones are only 3.99 $ as they usually have a visible tag on for these!!! As far as the variety of merchandise, they simply have EVERYTHING. From great toys for kids to electronics, to clothes, to shoes, great purses, accessories, bed and bath stuff, furniture, luggage, mountain bikes, dishes. The only things I didn't see there are fridges and full size floor ovens. I've occasionally seen microwaves and toaster ovens there. The cashier Leilani was so rude. My fam shop here so many times and been coming here for a long time. She was so rude and have no customer service skills what so ever. After we waited for a long time because there was only 2 cashiers, she didnt even say thank you for waiting, no hi, no thank you. She just repeated the total, didnt make eye contact, no customer skill what so ever. She treat us like crap. She was so racist and to top it off, we are a member of savers ! We told her our phone number and she didnt even pay attention and said '' what is it '' like not even sorry what was it again? Nothing. No manner. So racist. Her name is Leilani. I will never come back. Such racism, rude and treated like we didnt speak english when we were born and raised here. Dont ever belittle people. This is how you lose customers because of people like her. So rude, inconsiderate, no customer service what so ever. Dont ever treat customers like that, no matter if its a thrift store. She just handed the receipt without even looking at us and not even say thank you. And when we asked, if we have enough points to use in this purchase and she said NOPE. I use to enjoy shopping and donating here due to it's size, cleanliness and organization and reasonable prices. The last couple of trips I have seen the prices soar, not sure if it's just the store or organization wide. NeverthelessI will be looking to take my business elsewhere. read more

This place used to be Ralph's, but now it's a large thrift store. There's a huge selection of clothes for men, women, and kids. All the items are used, but in good condition. I couldn't look through all of them cuz there's so much clothes. Racks on racks on racks! There are tons of books, toys, household items, purses, a few furnitures. It's pretty much a clean, modern version of Goodwill. Women tops were $4.99 and up. Dresses $7.99 and up. I got a Charlotte Rouse skirt for $5.99. So I recently purchased at Savers, but I decided to return some items. I went during the 50% off day hoping to exchange. When I went to exchange and pay for my things, I found out that I that I couldn't exchange on discount days. But I found a lot of things! I either had to let go all the things I found or come back and find something else to buy for the exchange. I guess I looked really sad when I turned around without exchanging yet. Then they asked me how many things I wanted to exchange since I was going to buy so many things. They let me exchange this one time. I am really grateful they let me exchange even though I don't like that policy. read more

This is a pretty bad store and I'll explain why. For one thrift store like this aren't supposed to be for just the trendy 16 year olds to come in and get items for outrageous prices, this is for families that need to come here that can't afford actual store prices. It's sad to see that the prices go up every time I go in, I bought 3 long sleeve shirts and my total was $40.. why would I come to a thrift store and spend that much when I could just go to an actual store that sells new things and spend $40, you need to think about your clientele because this is just a slap in the face to anyone trying the SAVE, the only cheap stuff in the store is the ugly broken toys that are thrown in bags all over the walls, it's not even clean inside of this store and to top it off you're selling illegal fake designer bags for the prices of real ones, should be careful before someone calls the better business bureau on you. read more

Very wide selection of clothing! Huge huge store. I have found some awesome stuff here. If you're looking for vintage flannels this is the place. I also found a lot of skirts similar to american apparel tennis skirts :). I found a super cute Brandy Melville maxi skirt for $5 which I'm very glad about. Only downside is this place is pretty overpriced, they price things based on how nice it is from what I've noticed. Size small men's clothing is generally more expensive than the men's large. Someone probably caught on to girls also buying from the men's small section of clothing and took advantage of it. Many of the men's button ups in small are around $8 while the large button ups are around $5. I also found some boat shoes. They have very cute home items, but I'm unfortunately too scared to buy home stuff because my good friend Larry told me scary stories about stuff like that. I really like this store. I've never been in this type of massive thrift shop before. I didn't have the ability to drive, as result it limited my access to understand the resources around me. once I did OMG I discovered this shop. I didn't have anything and was looking for a shop to get everything. my god this store helped rebuild my whole life. everything here is priced within my budget. I'm not going to lie the store is priced higher than any other 2nd hand stores I've been to; expect pricing from 0.99-10.99+ compared to other 00.25-maybe a high 7.99+, & for this area the taxing is 9.5% now in 2017. The store is pretty massive and surprised me. everything is well organized and theres always amazing surprises. I bought most of my clothes theres. my wardrobe is 95% from here. for once, I have a wardrobe. I feel like a rich person. I feel so beautiful from all the clothes I bought here. I even bought so many shoes here. I feel so lucky shopping here. I can't believe it. all the items is so perfect, right size, the style is beautiful, the quality of the items is superb, everything is hitting the mark for my approval to purchase the items. I like the spacing enough here where you can get around if you have physical disabilities such as using wheelchair or a motorchair along with oxygen tank. I can spend so much time here looking for cool treasures. I think its important to look everywhere carefully because you'll find just the most strange items. just when you think you can't find don't want anything you find almost everything here. the workers here are pretty professional and try to answer your questions and take the time to be patient with your interaction. most of the staff is really young. most of the labeling here is bilingual Spanish/ English. I'm not sure if theres braille in the labeling. the restroom for the female is kind of crowded and I think uncomfortable if you use a wheelchair. its dirty and murky in ways. I always come back for more, I get addicted to the strange finds. I always try to make the most the discounts with 50%weekly coloured tags changes every Wednesday, a accumulated 30%off card for donations @ 5% each time, 20%off rewards point membership with every 100points from each 1 by each dollar you spend and the whole 50% blowout sale during this country holidays. with this store, everything is within reach, I almost have everything I've wanted. only if Ive discovered this store going 10years back I've would've been able to change my whole living situation. now I have a microwave, heater, blender, juicer, rice cooker, lamps, cooking utensils, table, chairs, yeah just about everything that is functionally helpful. I even bought all my office stationary items here: you can find most of the items priced 70%down compared to other outlets. I've found binders 1.99-3.99, clear sheet covers1.99-4.99, folders1.99, paper 1.99-3.99, notebook1.99-3.99;many bunched up together such as 2-5 sets, a students haven. you can even find cute boys here too, although you cannot buy them on discounted prices. give this store a chance. It's really disappointing how much they've increased their prices!! I'm a life long Savers lover. Started in redwood city and have been to savers in Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Jose, Hawaii, Milpitas...everywhere! I've been a VIP member for a long time and have turned at least 30 friends into Savers fans as well. I always donate to Savers and can honestly say it's my favorite store of all time. BUT, it's kind of outrageous how much the prices have gone up. It used to be that only high-end were expensive. Name brands like channel or Gucci. But I went today and dresses with no brand were $12.99 or $9.99. A jumpsuit from The Limited was $19.99! That's crazy bc it was probably cheaper than that at The Limited once it went on sale and that would have been brand new. This one was used. I'm not sure quite why happened- maybe a new person has been put in charge of pricing? For the first time, I walked out of there with only a $20 purchase. I usually spend 3 or 4 times that amount. I was just super annoyed seeing things that can be found cheaper at Ross. And even dresses that were missing buttons, had stains or small holes were still priced at $10! Very nice large store, easy to find items because of the great store layout, and outstanding customer relations both inside the store and at the easy to access donations drop-off location on the south side of the building. First off, you know that Savers is a for-profit entity based in Bellvue, WA. - that has been sued by the Minnesota Attorney General's office for not disclosing information about their for profit model. (http://www.invw.org/2015/10/28/thrift-store-industry-thrives-with-its-do-good-veneer/) On top of that, Prices are way high. $6.99 for a used starbucks mug you could get for between 25¢ and $1 at a yard sale? $5.99 for a medium sized glass bowl? $6.99 for a used computer keyboard? You must be effin' kidding me. Not everybody is a rich Silverlake hipster searching out the latest treasure...some people actually are shopping at a thrift store because they don't have a lotta $$$! And then they generally have a skeleton crew working. You'd think with the prices they charge - especially since they got the merchandise for FREE i.e. donated - they could put a few more people on registers when there are 7-8 people in line. When i first found out about this thrift store i was excited cause it used to be the old Ralphs grocery store that's a huge building thinking that there would be alot more items to see than regular smaller thrift shops. I was impressed in the beginning to noticed that it was huge and with more items to choose from and that it was super clean. They also add a strong scent of jasmine scent in the air. The items they sell that are best in my strong opinion are the clothes. They have some awesome clothes for men but they're way too over priced for a thrift store!!! I was taken a back by items that are not worth the high prices being expensive for this type of place. Tee, sweaters, shirt for $7.00- $10.00 and higher? So ridiculous! I can get new items like this at Ross for these prices. The shoes are nice but they need to spray some wash the mens tennie shoes or at least spray some Fabreeze on them, it stank around that area that made my shopping experience unpleasant. I was also shocked to noticed they have mens dress shoes and boots that were $39.00??? I can get some lesser at Target or at the Marshalls brand new. They gave me this Savers discount card that supposedly would save me money like the type we would get at the grocery stores in the past but said it only works on special days? They told me i'd have to wait when they'd send it to my email. I was under the impression it would be everyday. I'm sorry but many items at this store are not worth spending what they ask for especially for $4.00 used boxers, should be a buck or so. I read that this is an excellent place to buy donated items but HOW MUCH OUT OF A DOLLAR DO THE CHARITIES RECEIVE AND WHICH CHARITIES? Under "About Us", it says: "We also help more than 120 nonprofit organizations by paying them for donated goods, which supports their vital community programs and services. Our brands comprise Savers (in the U.S), Value Village (in the U.S. and Canada), Unique (in the U.S.), Village des Valeurs (in Quebec) and Savers Australia. All in all, we operate over 330 locations and have 22,000 employees." If I am reading this correctly, Savers BUYS donated goods and resells them at their stores. This store says it supports local charities but I can't find a list of them. I just received a call from them asking for donations for the Epilepsy Foundation but I can't find anywhere how much they donate to them. Also, for an operation that has 330 locations, they are not listed on Charity Navigator, the most comprehensive rater of charities. I think not at this time. read more

I almost never come out empty handed! When they first opened I went with some friends and ended up spending maybe $8 on some of the best books I have ever found in a thrift store! It was obvious a fellow book worm had passed on or gotten rid of his collection because I found just about every book I ever wanted to own from the entire Inferno series to several Shakespeares, Hemmingways and Steinbecks. When it came to finding kitchenware for my new apartment, I made sure to head over to Savers and found almost everything I needed from Pyrex dishes, mixing bowls, soup bowls and more. I did find out later that I only saved a couple dollars on the pyrex but anything helps when you're in college. My thrift-a-holic friend always begs me to take her here because we always have the best luck in the clothes department compared to the thrift stores out by our school.
