It is easy to see as you are driving by on Colorado Boulevard because many times they have special sale items located in front of their display windows. When I walked in, I was impressed by how well everything was organized for display. They had items that were organized by size as well as sections for both men and women. Prices were easy to find. Many of the items in the store were clothing but they had other items as well. There were pieces of furniture and electrical items for sale. The store is crowded with products to view. I was not pestered or bothered as I came in the store browsing. When I had a question there was a friendly and knowledgeable staff member named V who helped me out. She let me know where the items that I was looking for were located. She also explained that items were constantly changing daily. Items I looked at were in good condition. Revival Boutique is worth stopping in to see what is available on a periodic basis. There were a few people that were browsing for items when I was in the store. I have been by the store when there were many people shopping inside. After talking with V I realized they must have had a special sale in progress. This is a great location near Pasadena City college, and nice residential areas. This area of Colorado Boulevard has a number of other small stores, restaurants and coffee shops. It is a great place to walk. There is usually parking along Colorado Boulevard or on one of the side streets nearby. I will continue to stop in and check regularly for items that I didn't know I need but must have!

Finishing a conversation face to face with someone who wants to support your business seems like the least a business can do when they have a lit up open sign and open doors. I have been a loyal customer since this location opened, and I have never been treated with such disrespect. I found an item without a price tag and did exactly what customers are supposed to do- I brought it to an employee to have it priced. As I was in the middle of checking out, Rosa suddenly took the item out of my hands and refused to sell it to me, claiming it was "not for sale" because she needed to "investigate" it. I calmly asked, "I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?" Instead of explaining the situation professionally, she spoke to me with a rude, confrontational attitude and began questioning me as though I had done something wrong. I remained respectful the entire time, yet I was treated like I was being accused of something simply because I wanted to purchase an item. The situation became even more disturbing when Rosa followed me outside of the store after the interaction. As a customer, that was intimidating, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. No employee should ever make a customer feel that uncomfortable. I've shopped at countless thrift stores, including Savers for years, and I have never experienced behavior like this. I left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and deeply disrespected. The donation attendants have consistently treated me with kindness and professionalism, which only made Rosa's behavior stand out even more. If Rosa's actions reflect Savers' standards for customer service, then customers deserve to know that. If they don't, then management needs to address this immediately. No loyal customer should be treated with hostility, have merchandise taken from them at the register without a proper explanation, or be followed outside of the store. This experience has completely changed my opinion of this location, and unless something is done about the way Rosa treats customers, I won't be returning.

I was introduced through a mutual acquaintance who knew that I am a vintage Dior fanatic. Raquel had the most amazing 1950s Dior Silk coat that I never would have found on my own. I wanted it immediately and through an easy peasy purchase it arrived beautifully wrapped within 48 hours. Excellent investment piece which I am going yo keep for myself. The kindly & TALL shopkeeper of a man helped & tried to find it & even looked in the back to see if a bread knife was not yet inventoried. Just my luck (or lack there of), none. Lots of nifty items that stood the test if time to give new life if purchased. It was joyful to see some items that I may have seen or encountered in the past, probably from my mom's or grandma's era. Also, good to see a glass pie (for baking) container for $2, the tin for a $1, good value. Would've stayed longer but Hubby was getting antsy. Bread knife, no dice. If you are a fan of the Huntington Collection in Pasadena, you'll be sure to love the Bargain Box. Just like the Huntington Collection, I can't call it a thrift shop since it's not like any thrift shops I've been to! Looks more like an expensive antique shop when you step inside. I was blown away by the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm.
