    lots of costumes available! 10/2025

heads up for those trying to sell, join their online queue on their website ahead of time. even so, be wary of the misleading wait times the queue may state. from my experience, the wait time stated was highly inaccurate. it told me i was 3rd in line and i had to wait 12 minutes... it stated this for over an hour.. it's def not the workers fault, but the system could use some fine tuning. brought in 2 bags of clothes (one mens, one womens) and they ended up taking 4 mens pieces out of the 20+. we received around $22 for the 4 pieces. parking is available on the street right out front or in any parking structure nearby.

    Colorful signage.

This is probably the smallest Buffalo exchange I've been to. Shelves of shoes and racks of clothes from Men's to women's and for anyone in between ;) Found some cute and necessary items. Well curated from What I've seen. I didn't see a lot of designer or luxury items compared to Crossroads. The selection here is not too shabby. I would really need to have something in mind to purchase otherwise I'm buying stuff I don't need lol! Prices are just about on target nothing outrageous. Staff was helpful and nice. I'd come back again and maybe on a non busy workday to avoid the crowds since it's such a small store.

Parking: Decent amount of street parking available Ambience: Decently sized store with a huge selection of clothes, shoes, and jewelry. It seems fairly organized and there are a decent number of dressing rooms in the back to try on pieces. Service: Very friendly! The girl behind the counter was quite bubbly and welcoming, and would explain that even if they didn't buy pieces you'd brought in to sell, it was because they had similar items already / they weren't selling well at the current time / some other non-offensive reason that didn't give off condescending vibes. If they buy one of your pieces, you'll get offered either 50% in store credit of whatever price they deem your item to be worth, or 25% in cash. The line can get fairly long if you're trying to sell, but it gives you time to browse the store. If you're buying anything, they'll always pause reviewing clothes sellers bring in to help you check out. My only misgivings were 1) There's no system to call / message you if you leave the store while waiting to sell, and you're told you have to stay in the store or else you lose your place in line no matter how many people are ahead of you, and 2) If you lose your card with store credit, then there's no way to recuperate those funds / you won't be in their system, but they will accept a picture of the barcode if you do happen to lose the physical copy. Overall, would recommend this place both for buying and for selling!

I think that since thrifting has become such a trendy hobby, prices have significantly increased, taking the true fun out of it. Buffalo Exchange has a good reputation for reselling the higher end and more desirable items, thus also charging a higher fee. I personally find that a lot of the prices are exaggerated and take away the luster from true bargain hunting. They are selective and I never really find any true treasures, but it's still fun once in a while. If you're looking to sell your items, they have a decent program if you decide to take Store credit otherwise they offer very little. I typically also find the staff to be a little on the snooty side. Lol ... it's all good, go in and experience it for yourself.

    vintage finds!

This is not Goodwill so don't expect items for dirt cheap but the items are definitely reasonable and cheaper than if you went on eBay, Poshmark or ThredUp.

Shopping in Pasadena, Los Angeles, California…read more.. My friend, Jun, was going to look at furniture at The Huntington Collection. He had learned about this cool place from our friend, Nikki B. Of course, I wanted to tag along with Jun! The Huntington Collection is not just a place for thrifting... it really is a collection of vintage items such as furniture, jewelry, clothing, shoes, books, etc. Check out this shop for interesting merchandise! It's for a good cause: Huntington Hospital's Senior Care Network Shopping here is also great for our environment: reuse things, recycle items, and reduce waste!

This thrift shop is a gem for nicer products, higher end clothes, curated items and furniture…read more It really is one of my fave places to shop and I have been coming here for a long time!!! I just need to share this story bc it is truly COMICAL and adds an unpleasant experience to what would otherwise be great. There is a Hispanic lady w very short curly hair that works the register -- and she consistently treats me poorly, is cold/rude and downright has a chip on her shoulder! I can't seem to tell if she is just rude towards me or everyone. Today I got 2 linen XL shirts, should be $8 each She rang the first one up as $8 and the next as $10 I made a comment: oh the shirt is $10?? She replied THIS IS A JACKET. The size makes it a jacket! (it is not a jacket. Literally a plain linen button up but XL size and I am not an XL sized person) I replied: but they are identical (same button up/brand in 2 diff colors) ie you charged me diff prices for identical items She says: well then I should be charging you $10 for both so just be thankful I made a mistake w the first one. I was sooo shocked she doubled down and said I should be paying $10 for both I wasn't going to fight over $2 and cause a scene but wowwwwww I will ofc continue to support and shop here but management should know the character of the people that work the front. After I paid she just walked away and could care less. The very KIND other blond lady working the front gathered all my stuff and I really didn't need a bag but she was very kind and offered to bag my purchases. Truly dread interacting w this chip on the shoulder lady whenever I shop here. They really are not jackets. I have no idea why she thought it was a jacket

I've been shopping this Salvation Army pretty regularly for a few years now and the men's section…read moreat least has really gone downhill. They used to have a pretty sizable, well-organized men's selection but after re-organizing the store, the men's selection is maybe 1/4 the size of what it was. What does remain is terribly organized--wrong sizes abound in S/M/L sections, and the men's pants are now nearly 50% obviously women's pants (Easy to tell by the cut and sizing, size 12 instead of 34/30 or whatever). I can understand a few "misfiles" of women's clothes in the men's section, that happens everywhere, but for almost half of the pants to obviously be women's clothing? That's either a complete lack of care or someone really trying to abolish gender norms in clothes. Which I guess I'm all for in theory, but it does make it frustrating to browse and ascertain sizing. There are also no dressing rooms (again, this is every corporate thrift store post-COVID, and I guess I get the reasons but its still annoying) and they removed the only mirror in the men's section to put up display wiring on the wall--which they've yet to attach anything to months later. Chaotic and disorganized, this went from one of my favorite thrift stores in NELA to my least.
