We had to take our little girl (4 year old cat) in to see the doc. She wasn't eating or drinking…read moreand was lethargic. Everyone was fantastic! We thought she had hurt a hind leg and was just in pain. Doctors did X-rays and blood work. X-rays were good but the blood work showed an infection along with a fever. Docs put her on fluids for her dehydration and gave her IV antibiotics. After a couple of days in the hospital her fever was down and her blood work looked closer to normal, but she still wouldn't eat. We went out on Saturday night and spent about an hour with her trying to calm her and get her to eat. When we got there she had a petrified look and was scared to death. We were able to talk to her and pet her but still couldn't get her to eat. Doc said she might not eat there because she was so scared. We left her one more night for the fluids and antibiotic IV and a recheck of her blood work on Sunday morning. Temp was down and blood work was close to normal so we brought her home. After checking out the backyard and house she and our other cats all relaxed. She's eating and drinking like crazy now and just demanding attention. Everyone at VCA was great! From the receptionists to the technicians and doctors! Thank you for the wonderful care our little girl got! You all are fantastic!!

They gave him an IV and something to help him, but it was too late. He was in a lot of pain and I had to make one of the hardest decisions ever. They were patient, respectful, and helpful. I wish I hadn't needed to bring him in at all, but glad that since I had to, that it was here. My 15 y/o mix had been ill for some time. NOT HERE: First, we were told he had a mass, but most likely benign. I was hopeful and scheduled his appointment for a month out. He was not looking great, so I rushed his appointment to get it removed mid-June. They removed the tumor 6/24 but by then the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes. He's been home and being taken care of. Yesterday he wasn't doing well... I took him to a different ER because it was "more affordable" - big mistake because 12hrs later and we had not been seen. Yes, I paid a little more at VCA, but now I see why.

The level of care provided to kitties at national Cat protection society is just amazing! The detail in which the have to cater to each cat is amazing! Got the run around, they do not even understand ADA rules, including training, they are not trainers and have no experience in understanding how to evaluate a dogs abilities, they use fosters to give reviews. I asked if any of them had training certificates, no response. They quit answering my emails, I had made a donation to their rescue to help them as they are a non profit run by volunteers, after not liking my emails they refunded my donation with out my request, I asked for a call from a manager owner, even supplied them with my number, no response. Maybe the owner could call me. I would like to leave them a better review.
