She wasn't really interested when I told her that no refund could be found and I just gave up. In this day and age, you have to be accountable and this store was anything but. During Covid times, the store is mostly blocked off except the front, which has plenty of plants, flowers, and little trinkets. Unsurprisingly, during Mother's Day weekend a majority of their flower options were already sold out, but luckily, I was able to find a beautiful peony and lily bouquet. The owner and her daughter were both working the shop when I came in and they were so helpful and efficient all while respecting social distancing. I asked the staff if they could create a custom bouquet with peonies and a colour scheme. She made it in 15 minutes, and it turned out stunning! It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it. And when I visited my mom a week later, the peonies had opened up beautifully.
