Croissant 5/5 -- love the texture of this, there was a smoky taste that you get of the burned sugar. Sticky bun with nuts 3/5 --- this would have been a lot better if there was a cream or filling of sort. It was a little dry. I definitely would come back to try other things here. It was a little busy but not too bad and there's plenty of parking.

I saw quite a number of bright, yellow reduced stickers on a lot of items. Not sure if that's what stands out for other people but for me on this occasion, that's what was standing out. I picked up a container of Silk brand non dairy Greek Style yogurt. This stuff is usually quite pricy. This one had a yellow reduced sticker on it. "Reduced $4.19" is what I saw on the sticker. My first thought was that it had been reduced by $4.19. Well, I got to the checkout counter and of course discovered that was too good to be true. It was not $4.19 cheaper. It had been reduced to the price of $4.19. Lesson to be learned...those yellow stickers reflect the new price of an item and not the amount it has been reduced by. $4.19 however, was still a good deal for this particular yogurt (imho). So I stuck with it, brought it home, dished it into a container and put some Peach Oolong Oreo cookies in it cuz...really loving that 2 ingredient Japanese cheesecake trend! Aside from lots of bright yellow reduced stickers, I also noticed a small fridge with canned beverages in them that were all $1 each. Whoa, really? Just $1? Can you even get a drink for $1 at the dollar store these days? That actually is a good deal! Like I said...starting to see the appeal to this place!

This particular location gives me a diff vibe from the last few i've been to, the store is well lit, spacious, has free underground parking and free steering parking during specific times. I love how this location has a wide variety of groceries and goodies. I saw a bunch of asian items, hotpot meat, dumplings, sauces, snacks, noodles and so much more. One of the things that caught my attention the most is the variety of zero sugar options for the carbonated drinks. And even though i don't like cherry, i like how there's unique flavours as well such as cherry float cola! If you like asian buns, there is a selection of asian pasties such as taro bun/custard bun! I can appreciate the variety of salad kits!! I can see myself visiting this location regularly and the hours is good too. The store was properly staffed too despite it being the last hour before closing. Staff were friendly and knowledgable. I love how tidy the displays are. There was a wide variety of egg options and sizes and quantity! If you haven't had the chance to check out this location yet or NO FRILLS in general, highly suggest you make a stop at this one!

They have a great selection of sushi and hot foods that you can take away. This location in @centralcitysurrey even has a self serve section where you can put food into takeout containers for yourself. I've found their selection of dessert cakes to be much improved from the past, and now I find that their bubble tea offerings have also improved.  I was so excited to find this Dragon Ball Ice Pop drink. It looked so cool with all the multi coloured boba poppers floating around in it. Our daughter was excited to see it too when it brought it home and showed it to her. There were other cool drinks there too. There was one called Pineapple Sunset and another one called Mango Delight. Both of those drinks had boba poppers in them as well, and it looked like there was more liquid in those cups than in our Dragon Ball Ice Pop drink. This particular cup of Dragon Ball Ice Pop turned out to be more boba poppers than liquid. We sucked up the liquid pretty quickly. No complaints though as we love boba poppers and paired our leftover boba poppers with vanilla ice cream for homemade ice cream sundaes!  I went back about a couple of weeks later and they had all sorts of mango foods on offer, including a very attractive looking Mango sandwich. The size of the mango inside the sandwich was huge. It was basically a whole mango, and looked comparable to the giant mango mochi from Rice Holic in Richmond. I've never had a mango sandwich before and this one was calling out to me so I decided to give it a try. There was some white stuff in it. At first I wondered if it was mayonnaise but after biting into the sandwich I realized it was whipping cream. Loved this sandwich! Honestly, I enjoyed this mango sandwich more than the viral giant mango mochi since the mango in this sandwich was just as big, sweet and juicy as the ones from Rice Holic, plus this sandwich was easier to eat than the giant mango mochi. The mochi was so gooey and stuck all over our fingers, but sandwich bread doesn't do that so it made for a much tidier eating experience. Maybe it was meant to be a limited time seasonal item but I would love to see this mango sandwich as a regular item all year round at T&T Supermarket !
