However, due to a Canadian postal strike, the pharmacy switched to a cheaper shipping method without informing me, but still charged me the full $40 CAD. When the package arrived in Brazil, the shipping company hired by the pharmacy, in addition to the customs fees, which I am required to pay, charged me an extra $42.75 CAD, which I did not agree to pay, as it was never previously agreed with me. I refused the package, and it was returned to Canada. Now, the manager Kade and her assistant Kelaiah seem to beare, in an indirect way, making it difficult for the returned package to be received, possibly in retaliation for my not paying the additional fee demanded by the carrier they hired, thus preventing the refund. I was shopping in the store and picked up a La Roche-Posay Mela B3/Melasyl product. I intended to purchase it, but I also wanted to continue shopping for other items before going to the checkout. A female employee stopped me and told me that I needed to pay for the La Roche-Posay product at a particular counter before I could continue shopping. I explained that I still needed to pick up other items, but she insisted that I give her the product first. I understand that stores may have procedures for certain products, but the way the situation was handled made me feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. I felt as though I was being treated like someone who intended to steal the product, even though I was simply shopping and fully intended to pay for my purchases. It happened August 8,2026 around 4:25 pm I am a frequent shopper at this location, which is why I was especially disappointed by the way I was treated. I believe customers should be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling very uncomfortable about returning to your store. The manager, pharmacists and staff and friendly and helpful. Pharmacists readily make time to answer questions and provide medical assistance when doctors can't. They are extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of subjects that doctors don't often have time to be aware of such as nutritional supplements. I've been able to avoid having to go to a doctor in many many cases due to sound medical advice and common sense provided by this pharmacy. The counters are even at human level so it's easy to talk to anyone you need to and understand them clearly. Also the location is central, the hours are long and they provide delivery. Overall this is an excellent and cheerful place to visit for many health needs.
