I have been a customer of this pharmacy for two years, always paying $40 CAD for shipping. However, due to a Canadian postal strike, the pharmacy switched to a cheaper shipping method without informing me, but still charged me the full $40 CAD. When the package arrived in Brazil, the shipping company hired by the pharmacy, in addition to the customs fees, which I am required to pay, charged me an extra $42.75 CAD, which I did not agree to pay, as it was never previously agreed with me. I refused the package, and it was returned to Canada. Now, the manager Kade and her assistant Kelaiah seem to beare, in an indirect way, making it difficult for the returned package to be received, possibly in retaliation for my not paying the additional fee demanded by the carrier they hired, thus preventing the refund. ***Update 8/17/2017***…read more Okay, so I recently moved here and this pharmacy is the closest to my new home. I felt compelled to update my review as there have been some changes in this store since the last time I was here. And all the changes are TERRIFIC! First of all, they have remodeled and renovated their higher-end cosmetic department. It looks sleek and swanky and contemporary and is separated from the rest of the store. Next, they have started to stock fresh foods (salads, produce, wraps and sandwiches, eggs and cheese and other dairy products, etc). And the prices are excellent: $2.79 for a dozen eggs, $7 for two freshly-made sandwiches or wraps or ready-made meals, $3.99 for ready-to-go salads, etc. The manager informed me that they soon will be stocking fresh fruit and vegetables, too. They were readying the shelves for the produce inventory this morning. The store hours are great: they open at 8am and I think they close at midnight. Last, I return to the pharmacy and the great staff there. Today I chatted at length with the pharmacy manager Lucy. She was amazingly helpful and friendly and she assisted my kid and me SO much in navigating this new territory of BC health insurance for us. I can't say enough good things about her or how helpful she was to us.

I was shopping in the store and picked up a La Roche-Posay Mela B3/Melasyl product. I intended to purchase it, but I also wanted to continue shopping for other items before going to the checkout. A female employee stopped me and told me that I needed to pay for the La Roche-Posay product at a particular counter before I could continue shopping. I explained that I still needed to pick up other items, but she insisted that I give her the product first. I understand that stores may have procedures for certain products, but the way the situation was handled made me feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. I felt as though I was being treated like someone who intended to steal the product, even though I was simply shopping and fully intended to pay for my purchases. It happened August 8,2026 around 4:25 pm I am a frequent shopper at this location, which is why I was especially disappointed by the way I was treated. I believe customers should be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling very uncomfortable about returning to your store. I hope you will address this matter with the employee and remind staff about the importance of treating customers respectfully and professionally. Out of Towners don't know this which adds to the facade. The Grocery , Meat , produce , bakery and florist selection is specialty and international . There is a self serve cafeteria , The selection has daily specials , you can compliment your meal with wine and beer too , it's crowded and sometimes the check out line is too long . There is an express checkout but it gets clogged up as it doubles as a coffee, beer and wine checkout . It's annoying as the customers in front of you prolong contact with the checkout person on dialoging what they want. It's compounded when the customers cannot speak English properly and it's mostly the invisible minority Eastern European customers with their strong Slavic accents . We only go , not for the food but for convenience. Parking is reimbursable but only for one hour which is not long enough and often deters us from coming .

The service is prompt and excellent…read more They carry many non-pharmaceutical items at reasonable (non-Shoppers!) prices AND seniors receive a 20% discount on these! The manager, pharmacists and staff and friendly and helpful. Pharmacists readily make time to answer questions and provide medical assistance when doctors can't. They are extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of subjects that doctors don't often have time to be aware of such as nutritional supplements. I've been able to avoid having to go to a doctor in many many cases due to sound medical advice and common sense provided by this pharmacy. The counters are even at human level so it's easy to talk to anyone you need to and understand them clearly. Also the location is central, the hours are long and they provide delivery. Overall this is an excellent and cheerful place to visit for many health needs.
