Visited to grab a few groceries & ready-to-go food for dinner…read more * Store is always clean & tidy, loads of parking * Produce section always has rotating sales, check it out for good finds * To-go food section always has a wide range of options (maximum availability earlier on in the day), though prices have inched up the way prices have everywhere. Still a good value foe good portions & tasty eats * Queues move quickly & cashiers are very fast Highlight: Snapped photos of all the matcha options I found this time, hard not to try loads of them.

Love the ample parking, prime location, and how spacious it is inside. The rewards system is essentially a 1% cash back at a 1000pt cliff -- meaning you get $10 after you spend $1000 but no redemptions before that. Being a member also doesn't get you any additional discounts vs non-members. But hey it's free so it doesn't hurt. I'll always support there being more Asian grocery stores in the West Side of the South Bay. H-Mart always had that spot for me, but now it's shared. Mega Mart's marketed as a more premium store, but it does its best when they're running sales. Price between the two are pretty neck and neck. You'll spend anywhere from $70-$200 per trip cuz the small things do add up. They used to have prepped food marked off anywhere from 30-70% off in the final and early hours of the day. Now, it's an inconsistent luck of the draw. However, I've never had an issue with food quality with anything I've purchased whether it be prepped food or raw ingredients. 4/5, solid store. Hope they continue to grow and thrive as a mainstay of the community.

It's been quite some time since I visited Hankook. I've always been impressed by their cooking…read morelineup. And as usual, their collection was extensive and comprehensive. They had the usual array of nonstick pots, which don't work very well for me. They had a small but useful section for clay pots. I thought Amazon and AliExpress had overpriced clay pots, but I was wrong. These prices were significantly higher. I can only hope these are the best of the best. Checking up on 99 Ranch, I couldn't even find clay pots in there more limited kitchen utensil section. I ran across one item where knockoffs are ubiquitous. They've completely flooded AliExpress and you have to watch it with Amazon. Hankook had the authentic item and at significantly lower price than both Amazon and Aldi express. I found a tea section to be well stocked. I also recognize some of the tea brands. 99 Ranch has gone with lower cost options, but if you buy 6 ounces of tea, are you gonna be stuck with an enormous supply. Better to go with reliable brands that I have enjoyed in the past. I loved the produce section. It was nice and fresh. It also had wider selection of produce than other supermarkets. The store itself is stunning. The the aisles are spacious. The store is meticulously clean. The shelves are fully stocked. There were only about two items which were shopped out. The snack area and the frozen foods were even more interesting. It's obvious in those two sections that there were many more Korean brands. I should've tried some, but it's hard for me to resist snacks and there was a good chance that would finish the entire bag in one go. Better to skip it entirely. The parking lot for the supermarket is spacious. I had no trouble finding a spot even though I arrived in the late afternoon when everybody has gotten off work. I live about two hours away. And I am very jealous because there is no Hankook near me.

We have purchased a wok from here, twice, and they were reasonably priced (around $35 if I recall), and we got a spare lid for a reasonable price as well. They always have inexpensive produce, lots of fresh stuff. I got a bag of bok choy for $2. I think if you are looking for Asian produce, a great place to shop. They also have a lot of prepared foods, snack foods, etc. Everything is reasonably priced. They do have a large enough parking lot, and usually we park on the side to avoid the chaos.
