I do not like that the prices are no longer a $1 or even a $1.25 but more $1.75 and up! Previously I had shopped here thinking if I didn't need it right way or even at all , it was "only a $1" But even though it is not "expensive" relative to Walmart or Hobby Lobby etc. I now am more selective it I want to purchase something for an unknown future need , because now they are in a more competitive price point. i.e. I have other options to spend my $1.75+ elsewhere ! I will probably come here for stuff like q-tips but the higher priced things like glass vases, goodwill and Walmart are viable options. Once I choose the other vendors I will probably buy other items there that I can not get at Dollar stores like grocery items. So for Dollar Store it is a missed customer opportunity.

What I usually buy here are garbage bags, ziploc bags, refillable travel size bottles, and plastic silverware. They're way cheaper than at the grocery store or anywhere else, and some of them are even the normal name brand, like Hefty. They have some ok greeting cards, too, and packages of blank cards that are also a dollar. They get holiday stuff that looks cheap, and they have some strange off brand foods, but you can get good deals here.

I left the store but immediately returned and demanded that they take my returns. I was mistreated by the "cook", he was wearing a hat with tomatoes on it. He didn't like that I demanded that the Manager issue me a refund. He was extremely rude, telling me to take my cans to a different shop, etc. The manager told him to go to the back, but he continued to interject his displeasure. The Manager told me to take my cans to Shurfine even though I purchased these drinks from 7 Eleven. I had just come from Walmart, and the can return there would not take them because---I bought them at 7 Eleven!!! I don't expect to be mistreated like this, and basically it's unacceptable.

My friends were talking about the subs their. they told me that they really pack it with meat... I had to find out so I ordered a roast beef sub. When I went to pick it up, it was like they handed me a brick... I mean this sub was solid and heavy.... They were not kidding, I would say the meat was in ratio with the bread (which was a sub roll). I really enjoyed it. I also have tried their cheese steak which was just as packed with meat. I did try their tacos out of curiosity... The soft shell taco is like a mini burrito... but I wasn't too sure about the meat... kinda tasted too sweet for my taste. you also get a regular sized hard shell taco with the order. Overall, it is a nice store and the people in it our nice people. And the food at the deli counter is great. I have recently tried a soup mix and it was really good.
