They're out here rolling sushi, frying chicken, and making sandwiches like it's midday... meanwhile I'm still negotiating with my coffee. I went there a few days ago to do a bottle redemption; I had a bag full of 7 bottles, but only one bottle was accepted. The rest were rejected. And all the bottles I tried putting in the machines were brands carried by Wegmans (Brisk, Vitamin Water, Snapple, etc), plus they had 5¢ deposits marked on them. I tried feeding them into the machines, but I kept repeatedly getting error messages from the machines. Customer service did squat for me except give me 5¢ for the one bottle that was accepted. Come here for groceries, but go elsewhere for bottle redemption.

I wanted some capellini with Asiago, but this one seem to not have it. But they have other selections for others, just not for me this time. I also wanted the antibiotic free roasted turkey, but I didn't see any and nobody was there to assist me since it was 8pm. Besides that, they did have fresh fruit and veggies. :-) I may not be back to this one, but I will be back to a Wegmans near by. :-)

I had to ask a few employees to help me find what I was looking for, and then I was able to quickly purchase it and be on my way. The deli doesn't just sell cold cuts, they make excellent hot and cold subs made in fresh DiPalo's rolls. They are generous with the meat on these sandwiches and the prices are reasonable. Come in at lunchtime and plan to wait in line, but not long they're pretty quick. The prices on their lunch meat by the pound are also pretty reasonable. If the review was for the deli alone it would be five stars, but as a small rural grocery store their prices are a bit high and selection is a little limited. That being said, the owners are there every day working side-by-side with their employees. They have a great meat department and a wide selection of local beers.

The deli case which holds open product has never been cleaned and has mold growing in random locations. The counter with the slicers is peeling and is now held down with duct tape. The deli case for the subs does not get cleaned and is constantly freezing and thawing. No associate within the deli washes there hands before/during or after handling raw chicken/hamburger. Or even at the start or during there shift. The cheese case (on the sales floor) many of the product is expired by a few months to weeks to days. Along with some product the expiration date is crossed off. (Go check for your self). I know this was I used to be an associate until I walked out.
