For my first appointment, the staff was friendly and though there was a bit of a line for vaccinations, they got me through in 5 minutes. For my second appointment, they were nearly empty. There was no line, and I quickly made it to the back where I got to listen to pharmacist Lisa and her previous vaccination patient complain for 5 minutes about COVID, New York State, and frustratingly ironically, about people getting paid to not work. She talked about her past in Arizona, and about how she's only in New York because of her parents, and that she's going to be moving to Tennessee after they're gone. Eventually, I asked another pharmacist behind the glass if there was someone else who could help me, because the conservative ranting was not winding down. It was at this point that she interrupted Lisa, who then ended the conversation and finally administered my vaccine. Sorry to ruin your fun of getting paid to not work, Lisa. As I waited the requisite 15 minutes after both shots, I had the chance to browse the store. Everything sure is more expensive here. Though all the staff (except Lisa) was friendly and professional, I would not recommend this CVS.

Not only did this happen, as we were waiting to figure out what to do my son threw up all over himself in the van. This is a 34° day and it was windy as hell. So I go inside to buy paper towels and baby wipes to clean him up. I tell the cashier what happened and he says we are more than welcome to wait inside in the warm. He then gives us hot chocolate, loans me a charger for my phone, and also loans my son his Switch to play to keep him busy. This cashier rocks in the customer service aspect. Made such a terrible day much better just by being kind to a mother and her three sons. I will definitely be coming back to this place on my travels though the area.
