The salesman asked what I wanted, told me which items were in stock and pointed me in the right direction. Delivery was in 2 days and Mike and Rick did a wonderful delivery and installation! "Sales final."They made 100% profit while I am stuck with a used refrigerator at full new price. They price-matched Home Depot and acted like they were doing me a favor. There is no satisfaction guarantee and no return policy of any kind.They even attempted to blame our contractor rather than take responsibility for what they sold us.I have filed a complaint with the NYS Attorney General's office. This is not how a reputable business -- family-owned or otherwise -- operates. I will never buy from Charlotte Appliances again and I strongly urge others to shop at Home Depot, Lowe's, or Ferguson instead. At least those companies actually stand behind their products. Today I was working on another Yelp project and did indeed see the store closed, lock, stock and barrel. I did some research on it just now because I'd heard there were some interested buyers so I'll share the article with other Yelpers and the public. Big Lots has completed a deal that will save up to 400 of its approximate 950 stores from going out of business. The closeout retailer said that it has successfully closed its sale agreement with Gordon Brothers Retail Partners that will enable Variety Wholesalers to acquire between 200 and 400 Big Lots stores and up to two distribution centers. Variety plans to operate the stores under the Big Lots brand. Big Lots, which filed for bankruptcy in September, announced the deal at the end of December, after its plan be acquired by Nexus Capital Management fell through and the retailer said it would hold store closing sales at its locations nationwide. "We are pleased to close this strategic transaction, which provides a framework to preserve thousands of jobs, maximize value, and maintain the Big Lots brand," said Big Lots president and CEO Bruce Thorn. "We are working closely with the Gordon Brothers and Variety Wholesalers teams on this transition. We are grateful for the continued hard work and dedication of Big Lots associates across the Company." The place is set back in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The store is small but cute. They have a handful of counters with jewelry. I have a Tiffany's bracelet that was engraved over a decade ago that had faded. The nice lady help me decided on the font of the bracelet. I also have a Tiffany's necklace I wanted to have a pawprint engraved. Unfortunately they can only do letters and numbers when engraving. She did show me that I can get jewelry etched on in. In the end I decided on a singular letter for the necklace. The pieces I brought in were small and dainty. I was called a week later when it was all done. The pieces came out beautifully. I am so happy with the results. It was only $15, so affordable. I highly recommend Trilliant Jewelers.
