My fear was that there was a clog somewhere in the air handler itself. AC guys came highly recommended in our neighborhood and gave them a call late Saturday evening to schedule an appointment. Talking through tje issue, they helped me troubleshoot some things and when those didn't work, the appointment was set for the next morning. Chris swing by promptly at the scheduled time and quickly diagnosed the issue. There was a clog and he was able to resolve it rather quickly and added a section of pipe to resolve future issues faster. We will need to dispose of all of these expensive, impacted items, as we are currently suffering from allergic shock/ anaphylactic shock, with multiple trips to the ER. Can't safely bring these items-- and the mold potentially on/ in them-- with us to our next home. Ethically, I think TAV Air should have declined to do this work when they saw clear signs of water damage and mold, deferring to a certified mold remediation specialist with the proper permits from TDLR. Serious ethical issue, resulting in immediate health issues for me, my husband, and our dog.

J gave a fair quote again and said he could get the unit shipped in that weekend. J instead was able to find the unit in Austin and was out the day after.
