    It's PI Week!

It's Pi Week, and several pizza chains are offering $3.14 pizza specials! Some have BOGOs, but the best one is at "Sauce Pizza & Wine." They're selling cheese pizzas for just $3.14, limited to 2 per visit for rewards members, so you could technically go every day. I love their made-from-scratch wood-fired pizzas with a crispy, light crust, and for that price, what's not to like? Hurry up, you've got from 3/13 to 3/18 to grab one!

Sauce is decent. I mostly frequent it out of convenience. The mac n cheese is pretty good. Caesar salad is good. I dont find either the best but they suffice. Mostly I order s pizza with meatball topping. Its not my favorite pizza but again I dont hate it. Ironically I find the pizza lacks enough sauce. Its a bit too dry. Im a repeat customer however. Just wish it was more saucy.

First time at this location. Came in on Labor Day. They had a good special. &9 cheese or $12 specialty pizza. We ordered the sausage and caramelized onion . Also the chicken and apple salad and the bruschetta. Everything delicious. My only " complaint" would be that the pizza came out first..... long before the salad and Bruschetta. If you check in you get a free cookie too. That was a nice touch.

Holy Mac and cheese! I was really in the mood for good old fashion comfort food after a few stressful days......well my go to comfort food is the grilled cheese panini with cheddar, mozzarella and havarti! Tasty and toasted perfectly! Okay let's talk about the star of the meal the Mac and Cheese! For less than 2 dollars I added mushrooms expecting a couple slices here and there but whoa it was filled with mushrooms! Best $2 dollar add on I have ever had! It was gooey and very rich I managed it divide it into three meals. My partner had the turkey and havarti panini and said it was delicious! Looks like I have a new comfort food spot!

I decided to try out their wild mushroom pizza (their pizzas are 12 inches), mac n cheese, and a triple chocolate chunk cookie. First off, it's important to know that the price for their cookie on their online menu was incorrect. This company should double check their menu items to ensure that the correct information is displayed. Although the food was of above average quality, they forgot to include a piece of bread that is supposed to come with all pasta orders. I would say that the argula was the best part of my pizza. I think it's either odd (or a flat out mistake) that argula is not one of the toppings you can choose in their online portal. The quantity of food is also not as much as you would get at any other pizza chain unfortunately. The total cost of my order was $27.15.

Excellent pizza and salads! Ask for the vegan cheese! It is not on the menu but they had it. Great service. Delicious salad - quinoa salad with no cheese. I ordered a build your own pizza with vegan cheese. It was so good! Great place for vegans!

I got the burrata and tomato pizza. There aren't as many tomatoes as advertised. Other than that, it was good! If you want something more filling, I would choose something else! The salad pizza is really good too!

**July 2026: Saturday Night Visit**…read more My friend and I had been eating a lot of heavy food this summer and were really craving something healthy and nutritious. It was also pretty late on a Saturday night, so we wanted something fast and convenient, which led us to Flower Child. Flower Child is such a great fast-casual spot if you're looking for a lighter meal with bowls, salads, wraps, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. It's especially nice if you want something veggie-forward or gluten-free. We decided to order the Turkey Cobb salad for $14.45 and a seasonal summer salad for $13.95, which had strawberries, heirloom tomato, watermelon, quinoa, marcona almonds, arugula, and balsamic dressing. We also added shrimp for $7.45 and got their housemade lemonades, which were really refreshing. The meal was exactly what we were looking for. My body definitely appreciated the nutrient-dense food, but it still felt light, which was perfect since we were eating so late. I'm definitely a fan!

Food is delivered fast, within about 5-10 minutes after ordering at the counter. Staff here is friendly, patient and helpful when someone who can't decide between all of the options is in front of them. :) I ordered "the rebel" French dip and loved every bite of it. I especially loved the little side salad that came with it that I wasn't expecting. The French dip itself was savory, tender, flavorful and the horseradish added the perfect "kick" to the wrap. I'd definitely order it again but there were also so many other things that I'd try on the menu! I'll stop back every time I'm in Arizona because it's worth the trip to try everything that looks so yummy!

We decided today we wanted to try the wraps for the first time. My husband ordered the fajita wrap and Decided he wanted steak so there was a $1.25 uplift for that. He said it was tasty, but some of the steak pieces were a bit chewy. He loved the heat level and it was chock full of fajita type veggies I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and I enjoy the hot sauce and blue cheese mix of dressing. I only have one complaint and that is I had opted out of carrots and they gave me a choice to add something else so I said tomatoes and they basically put whole cherry tomatoes in my wrap, which were kind of impossible to eat . Those really need to be sliced up or use a different kind of tomato, but I'll not make that mistake again! All in all- great option when you want to eat fresh and decently healthy food- I order the dressing on the side to keep it lighter as well.

Their prices are great and for the portion size, you can't complain. This time around, I went to the drive-thru and ordered the Cobb Salad with ranch dressing (instead of blue cheese). The lady over the intercom said, "oohhkayyy." When I got to the window, the guy asked if it was okay if it had blue cheese crumbles on top. I wasn't feeling blue cheese, but I kept quiet to avoid confrontation, plus it seems the salads are pre-made that way. Other than that, this place was quick and the drive-thru was efficient and convenient for me. The salads here are always on point and today's Cobb was no exception. I also like their flavored lemonades, but resisted temptation today, lol.

They ordered a Breakfast Burrito, Mac & Cheese, and Avocado Toast with Eggs. I ordered the Matcha latte which was alright -- I wasn't wowed with this one, and I feel like the price didn't really match it for me. You could also tell a bit by the color in the picture I attached. My sister's Honey Cinnamon Latte was pretty good. What I did really love was the pastries! We unfortunately only got one (the Pistachio Cruffin), but it was really good! Their whole pastry section looked and sounded amazing, I was excited when I saw their selection. They had a very unique menu at Toasted Owl, with many items cleverly named after the bodacious birds. My wife got the Three Tacos plate, my daughter got a gluten free blueberry pancake and soy chorizo, her husband got the Owl 66 and I got the 'Owlapeno Scramble'. The entire restaurant was decked out in owl decor, from the menus, clocks, glasses, wall decorations, cookie jars and trinkets, just to name a few. Everything in there was also available for purchase. Everything at the table was scrumptious in the most satisfying way. My scramble was so satisfying, with the cheese and pickled jalapeños and the three poppers on top. The breakfast potatoes were so savory, seasoned just right and the huge flour tortilla and salsa were all perfectly complimenting. We each ordered drinks that came in owl mason jars, which we bought for $2 each. What a hidden gem for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

It featured approximately two slices of pastrami heroically trying to survive beneath a mountain of sauerkraut. The egg sandwich came on bread that looked like it lost a fight with a flamethrower. When my food arrived with the wrong side, the waitress's solution was, "I guess I can have them make you some onion rings." The enthusiasm was truly inspiring and a testimate to the industry. Speaking of service, our server spent so much time MIA I wasn't sure if she actually worked there or was just passing through. Then came the gift shop adventure. I bought 6 adoarable Toasted Owl branded cups, only to be told after I paid that they were used. Since buying previously owned & used restaurant drinkware isn't really my thing, I asked for a refund. The response? "Unfortunately, you already paid for them." I'm not in the tech industry, but I was under the impression someone had invented a way for money to travel in both directions. I think they call it... a refund. If you're looking for burnt toast, a sauerkraut mountain, surprise used merchandise, and customer service that's more of a rumor than a reality, this is your place. Cheers. Side note: Everytime I use those cups (after washing them again), I am going to make up backstories for all the patrons I assume used them.
