What a lovely spot! I was craving sandwiches while walking around so stopped by. They have QR code ordering which is super convenient; no need to wait in line. I ordered the peach chicken sandwich which took ~15 minutes. I sat outside in the shared courtyard. The space is kept pretty clean which was nice. The sandwich itself was super flavorful. The menu pictures do not do them justice. It was juicy, the bread was hot and toasted, I loved it. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough slaw/veggies to break up the richness. Overall, I really liked this place! I would come back to try their other sandwiches, they all sound so interesting and delicious. But more slaw pls!

Heard nothing but great things about this place. Excited to try it.

Look, the easiest way to say this is you must try this place. The geniuses behind the sandwiches, the flavors, and all the different pairings is simply an orgasm in your mouth. I say that because we originally were going to only have one sandwich, which was the pork belly sandwich and head down the street to try a different restaurant for fish and chips. After we had that first sandwich we were like yeah no we're staying here and getting a second sandwich so that we can try another burst of flavor. The individuals creating the sandwiches and taking our orders were the owners of the shop. Both people were super friendly, answered any questions that we had regarding the sandwiches, and we actually bonded over the fact that one of them was a California native. The shop itself is super chill and laid back. There is seating inside on countertops and there's even outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the Sun. I would suggest sitting inside because you get more of a chance to talk with the owner and his fabulous co-partner. Again, you must try this place it is so so so good

I want to Sauce Novelle on Sunday. My daughter has celiacs and the restaurant was so great in ensuring her meal got made properly. My sandwich the Peach Roasted Spiced Chicken was awesome!

Stop. Just stop what you're doing, put it away for later, and go get a sandwich here, because whatever you're doing isn't nearly as important as trying this place. Proof? The Corn Relish Corn Beef (pictured below). Whoever created this had the perfect idea of what a corned beef sandwich should be (again, see the proof). I normally don't like being punched in the mouth, but when with flavor this good, I'll take it any day. And a huge shoutout to Brandon who asked if he was pronouncing my name right, so he'd "make sure it was correct for next time." Thanks, my dude!

Sandwiches here are excellent and perfect for a picnic in Bainbridge. It's a small little spot (so only takeout) but there's seating in the little plaza area. Service is really friendly and they make the sandwiches fairly quick. I got their chicken sandwich with a peach bbq sauce and mixed greens. It was delicious and one of the highlights of our Bainbridge picnic day! Our sandwich came with a small side of coleslaw which was also very tasty! Highly recommend this spot!

They have a ton of really cool combinations of sandwiches! I got the Peach roasted Spiced Chicken and unfortunately I wasn't huge on the taste, but my friend liked it and I ate her corn relish corn beef sandwich which was better but I wish I would have went with a more traditional sandwich. Worth the try though!!

Thanks Yelpers as you gave a great recommendation; I'm joining the chorus of praise. They have a very limited menu and they had run out of 2 sandwiches. Nevertheless, the corned beef sandwich, veggie sandwich, soup and salad were perfection! I don't even like sandwiches. Plus the owner was really nice guy. Order online to save time. There was 4 or so bar seats. Enjoy! I'll be back.

the herb turkey blt and the sandwich with pork and thai plum sauce (i don't remember the name of it) were insanely delicious! the bread they come on is so fresh, and the guy that was working was very nice and made sure to check that we enjoyed our food. the seating area is very peaceful too. 10/10 will be back here whenever i'm on bainbridge island!

If you love sandwiches this is a must try spot for you! The flavors are so well thought out and the bread adds a nice texture to the filling. Staff promptly worked on our orders after we checked out on the self serve kiosk and brought it to our table when it was ready. We enjoyed our meal outside on one of the outdoor tables, it was a perfect lunch vibe.

Because of the ferry two hour backup in Edmonds, I ended up crossing the sound via Seattle to Bainbridge Island instead. I wanted to try something different for my first meal of the day. Thankfully, the helpful Yelp app came up with Sauce Nouvelle (9/13/23). I showed up shortly after opening and received a friendly, upbeat greeting. After glancing at the menu, I couldn't decide between the Mint Proscuitto sandwich or the Corn Relish Corned Beef sandwich ($16); with tax & tip around $20. The counter person highly recommended the latter, so I went with that. I appreciated that the takeout packaging, fork, and napkins were all compostable. There's onsite counter seating, but I chose to sit in the shared courtyard area. I enjoyed the freshness, unique flavor and texture, sure woke up my palate! Tender, succulent corned beef with mangosteen mango chutney, romaine, white cheddar, sumac aioli on a ciabatta roll. Very generous sandwich and corn relish slaw side. This isn't a generic deli style sandwich shop. There's also some salads, daily soup selection, cookies, and even espresso on the menu. This review is brought to you by the letter F, for Freshness and Flavor! Great find, thanks fellow Yelpers!

Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and well executed in this fusion restaurant. The spicy truffle wontons with grilled shrimp were a standout! They were super aromatic with the truffle flavor coming through, and the shrimp added a nice extra layer of texture and richness. The wontons were not quite spicy, however. We also tried thier chili prawn noodles, which had egg noodles and was just as good. The tempura shrimp was also crunchy and added to the great mix of textures. We also had the rockfish, which was in a nice creamy sauce and cooked nicely, complementing the rest of the meal well.

Among a few other spots, Ba Sa was on our hit list to check out, so we came by for lunch. Its a nice looking modern Vietnamese restaurant with a fusion-y spin on Viet food. We didn't know what to order so we looked at a bunch of photos to see what looked good. We started off with the Chicken Buns. It was really good karage chicken bao buns, very flavorful, nicely prepared and the mayo was tasty! We really enjoyed this to start off our meal. As for our entrees, we got: Bun Cha Hanoi: Good amount of meats, I really liked this, comes with 2 pork patties, 2 grilled pork skewers, an egg roll, noodles to dip in the nuoc cham sauce with lettuce to make some wraps. I went to town on this! Sautee Beef Vermicelli: I got some bites to this dish as well, beef was plenty, quite flavorful stir fried beef, good marinade on the beef, comes with vermicelli noodles with some assorted veggies and crispy bits on top. A good non soup beef noodle dish! We came at a good time, we got seated pretty quickly, friendly staff, it is on the pricier side but we enjoyed the food a lot. The place got busier when we were leaving. Worth coming by to check out if you in the neighborhood!
