Bland dry Halibut with a bland watered down ramesco sauce to go with. So awful. Hummus platter, wth?! If you don't actually have heirloom tomatoes, then don't say you do. If you've only got two olives left then go buy some more. If just hate making the dish then don't. Caesar salad, except with a vinaigrette? Why would you call that a caesar salad then? All these good reviews must be paid for. There is no way food this bad can get this high of a rating. Service was fine. read more

Food service ambiance all very great! The scallop was cooked perfect with saffron rice. Gambas, tiramisu and their cocktail were alll delicious. Will be back! read more

SO GOOD! We got 3 hot tapas for 2 of us and it was perfect. The cauliflower and mushrooms were top tier. Had no problems eating here as vegetarians! AND, sober pals unite! Non-alcoholic wines and drinks galore. Pricey, but worth it for a night of fun. read more

Came here with a group of six. It was pretty crowded and the food was decent but not spectacular. Service was great and I actually would come here again, but just was not blown away by the food. read more

"Oh my, that is good!" became our repeated refrain throughout our lunch. The empanadas had a delicious dough with a fabulous texture. The filling was rich and complex. The mini lamb pitas were amazing. The lamb had an incredible long cooked flavor. Messy to eat, and yes, I can't wait to have another. The garlic shrimp was nice, just not as special as everything else we sampled. The cauliflower is well cooked with a few crispy bits and complimented with a couple almonds (could have used a few more!) and that sauce I want to bottle and take home. Note to me: do more interesting things with cauliflower at home. Pretty good parking. But located in a little building with other restaurants. Worth tracking it down - simply delicious food and a very pleasant environment. read more

I wandered into Bainbridge Bistro by chance, not realizing they had just rebranded a few days earlier. What a wonderful surprise. This was probably the friendliest experience I've had with a restaurant owner or staff since moving to Washington five years ago. I dined alone and ended up having a genuinely lovely conversation with the wine tender about food, running restaurants, and even Tacoma spots I recommended--something I'll remember fondly. The food was excellent. The scallops were perfectly cooked, served in a thin but creamy garlic sauce. The spinach pies were exactly what I've been craving since leaving the East Coast: flaky filo pastry with a rich, cheesy spinach filling. Even the coffee, served French press style, was smooth and satisfying--I only needed a touch of sugar and cream. The atmosphere is just as thoughtful as the food. The lighting is dim in the best way--soothing and easy on the eyes--paired with soft instrumental music that creates a calm, elegant environment. Fresh roses at every table are a beautiful touch. It's the kind of place I'd recommend both for a romantic date night and for a quiet, restorative meal if you (or your neurodivergent friends) need a break from overstimulation. Bainbridge Bistro feels personal, welcoming, and refined all at once. I can't wait to return. read more

My teen and I dropped in for an early lunch. The owner/host greeted us warmly, gave us some advice on the menu, and we ordered hummus, cauliflower, and the chicken main to share. All were amazing. Service was also great, too, and we appreciated the care that went into the place. My daughter is a self-proclaimed hummus expert and she was impressed with the hummus, loved the chicken, and learned that cauliflower is good sometimes. We both left full, happy, and impressed with this restaurant. read more

This is a real hidden gem. Do your self a favorite and visit this wonderful tapas restaurant. I've visited Spain on many occasions and the Sangria here is the best I've ever had. The service is wonderful too. Order a few small plates and share, the Wild Mushrooms are amazing! read more

What a wonderful surprise! My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, having never been before but intrigued by the menu, and as vegetarians I can now say that the food is SUPERB! From the potatoes to the cauliflower to the hummus, incredible, but the highlight of the savory was the mushroom dish, and the evening was finished with a delicious creme brûlée and coffee. Great food is one thing, and this place has an abundance of that, but the service was what sealed the deal for this evening. Our server, Adam, was a delight. So kind, so knowledgeable, and a pleasure to chat with throughout the evening. We will be back, thank you!! read more

What a hidden gem! This place might be small but the flavors are huge! We got the Taste of España deal and every single thing that we ate was delicious! My favorite part was the empanadas and the churros. The servers (possibly owners) were super friendly and accommodating (half our party got stuck on the ferry and came very late), and didn't bother us for the table. We don't live close by but will definitely be back! read more

Run don't walk to have Tapas with Sonia the owner! This place is hidden but worth the find if you enjoy authentic Spanish Tapas freshly made. The place is small, what a blessing because Sonia makes you feel like Family. The Spanish wine offered is splendid. We wet our palette with two of Sonia's red blends and a garnacha. We were served plates of lamb pita, pork skewers, clams with chorizo, potatoes, falafel, and garlic shrimp. All superbly flavorful and filling. Sonia studied her culinary prowess in Spain and is sharing her delicacies here in Bainbridge, where she was born and raised. Let's not forget her kitchen staff who must create these dishes. Pass all the other establishments offering diner fare, American burgers, wood fire pizza, and street tacos to enjoy a taste of España. This review is for anybody who wishes to hear my opinion... read more

We didn't have a reservation, but they accomodated us! Great, personable service. Provided info about many of the plates we ordered. Everything was delish! My husband and I ordered three small plates each and shared. Great variety and not that pricey. There was a bowl of beaded bracelets on the counter. They were made by the daughter of one of the employees. How sweet! Of course, I bought one! We will be back for sure! Oh! If you want to make a reservation ( pretty much needed. We just lucked out) call the phone number listed on their website and leave a message!- read more

Bainbridge Tapas was an exciting small eatery, something Bainbridge desperately needs more of in every way. Few tables, great service, and spectacular food for prices normal people can afford. I really appreciate the attention to detail on the portion sizes and the prices that reflect that which enable a true tapas experience. I tasted so many amazing flavors, and they really knocked that out of the park for us. The kitchen looked lively, the staff was friendly and hospitable and didn't hover or pester but didn't forget we exist, ingredients were all clearly top shelf, and even the iced tea was brewed in-house. Most places on the island don't even do that. I can't wait to go back for date nights, lunches, quick bites, or drinks. read more

Amazing food, friendly service, and great cocktails. Wish the restaurant had outdoor seating but so glad we chose to eat here.

Small eatery inside of a business complex. Excellent selection of tapas with diversity of ethnic flavors. We had toasted almonds (can't go wrong), pumpkin soup (heavenly), falafel (taziki tad bland), empanada (tad greasy), and greek salad without lettuce (good). We had also ordered olives and spanakopita however these didn't arrive and our tummies were already full. read more

Mind. Blown. Every thing we ordered here knocked our socks off. The mushroom soup and the manchego and membrillo were my favorites but everything was incredible. I don't even typically like spanakopita or tiramisu but I absolutely loved their take on these dishes and would absolutely order both again. Plenty of incredible vegetarian options. Sonja, who I believe is the owner, provided excellent service and menu recommendations. It is a small restaurant but I enjoyed how cozy and private it felt. Can't wait to come back!!! read more
