It was pure happenstance that brought my friends and I here. I usually have an itinerary and a pretty good idea of all stops on trips, but on this day, we kind of winged it and it a wonderful day was had. We came to Snoqualmie to see the falls, and then decided to check out the local flavor. We visited the brewery next door and happened to see this spot on our way out. We have a tequila and mezcal lover in our group and it happened to be close to her birthday, so we had to check it out. There is a hall connecting the brewery to the bar where they have a shared bathroom, but they are two separate businesses. The place was empty in the early afternoon we came, but more people came in eventually. We happened to have the owner Marta take care of us and she was such a great host. She and some locals were super friendly and gave us great suggestions and chatted with us and told us about the area. It always makes me all warm and fuzzy inside when we can just sit with the locals and have good conversations. Though I am not a tequila drinker, I was impressed by what this small town bar had stocked. A couple of friends went the tequila route and got some cool creations. My friend still talks about the tequila old fashioned he had in Snoqualmie. Since I just had beer, I stuck with it and got a local cider called Two Towns Marionberry Cider. I found it to delicious and refreshing. We didn't eat, they do have a pretty good menu of small bites. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed this place and glad we took a chance on it. I would definitely come back the next time I am in Snoqualmie. read more

Made an unplanned stop in Snoqualmie, and found this delightful spot. Tamales, my Latina dinner companion called them second best to her own mother's version. Tacos, one critique (same know it all) the pork was more like shredded pork than the advertised pork belly. Still good, just not what was expected. A mezcal cocktail with huckleberry (grandson's name) was superb, and the margarita was great. Nice decor, upbeat music and vibe, and the waitstaff was on point. Try it, you'll like it. If you don't, there's always more tequila. read more

This little gem of a place serves more than tequila. They have a full menu of tex mex style entrees. We had the Steak Tacos and the chicken burrito. Both were delicious. There waitress was very friendly and attentive even after more guest showed up. My glass was never empty. read more

A perfect lunch on our Sunday Road Trip to Snoqualmie Falls. After a stroll around The Falls under scattered clouds & occasional drizzle, decided to take the short 5 minute drive SE to the quaint town of Snoqualmie for a cocktail and a bite. We chose Añejo based on favorable food reviews, the ambiance of a 'warmish' interior decor combined with lots of windows on a cloudy day. We grabbed a table easily, & were greeted by friendly staff Marta and her great music Playlist! Enjoyed appetizer nachos & Boom Shrimp, frosty tasty espresso martini & yummy margarita. Just a follow up to my original review. Marta- the owner of this business, reached out and offered a refund to our food portion of the bill . We agreed and then have been ghosted for over a week. This was such a cool little find! We went to this cute town and had a brewery on the list and this bar was right next door! I am so glad we went in! Marta, the owner, was such a sweetheart, so warm and welcoming! She tailor made a drink just for me so I could enjoy a blood orange martini and it was delicious! She was such a joy to talk to and told us how she just opened about 6 months ago but also owns a local coffee shop as well! If you're in the area, highly recommend you to swing by! read more

This Restaurant is one of my favorite spots in snoqualmie. the Tequila selection is unreal and the cocktails/Margaritas are fantastic. They have a dynamite happy hour from 4pm-6pm on the weekdays with a great value of drinks and food for the money. Great place to watch a sports game or grab food and drinks after a long day. Found this spot and decided to stop by after visiting Snoqualmie falls and was not disappointed! We came right before the dinner rush, so we were seated right away and greeted by the lovely waitress who was super sweet. The inside is very clean and has a nice modern look. I ordered the cheese and jalapeño taquitos which were super tasty, the only thing I'd say is I wish it had more jalapeño. The nachos were perfect and such a large portion for the price. My friends and I visited this place on a whim, after having a beer at the brewery next door. I love TQLA, so it was really my request (for my bday), but they were down. The place was essentially empty when we came in, but it was the middle of the day, so expected. A few patrons ended up popping in after we sat down at the bar. Drinks - I should have asked her about a tequila flight instead. But I got the Federales Azul, which was good. My friends had the Marionberry cider, an Old fashion with Repasado tequila - which he loved, and the Damnt Janet. Everyone enjoyed the drinks/vibes. Service - was with a smile. Came here about two months ago and was planning on leaving a review. However, I would have been the first to leave a review and I didn't want to kick the reviews off on a bad foot. Let me begin with the positive though. All the employees were super friendly and decently attentive. The owner was especially thankful to all those who tried out the restaurant. The interior is quite lovely! I especially loved the live edge bar! They did a great job of using the smaller space to their advantage. The bathrooms are also really nice! Okay, now unfortunately on to the cons. First of all, this place is a tequila bar. But, they don't provide any light appetizers to go along with beverages. Chips and salsa are not even on the menu. Came here after a hike and ordered the nachos. They don't come with any tomato's or onions. The chicken honestly tasted canned. And the chips were definitely store bought. Very grainy. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning. Which is especially sad because it would have been so nice to have a Mexican tapas spot in Snoqualmie. read more

The bartender was polite and tried to be helpful when I couldn't decide on a drink. I decided on a "mojito". It wasn't described as a classic mojito with lime juice in it on the menu, which is why I chose it. Listed ingredients were: dragonfruit infused rum, mint, topped with soda water. So, a sort of spritz or something, intriguing. When I got it, its beauty (I quickly snapped a picture) was over shadowed when I discovered that it tasted like 95% lime juice. I couldn't take more than one drink. It was the most sour thing I have ever tasted. The bartender did check back and ask if it was ok after a while, but at that point we had decided to go around the corner for Italian, so we just asked for our check. I did want to try the food here, I'm on the fence. Maybe I will wait a while and see how other reviews go through time. read more

It's confounding to walk into a space that says "elevated mex", and then spend $100 on a very "meh" dinner. A tad disappointed with the service. They are very short staffed and will remind you of that. They also reminded us an hour and a half prior to them closing that they were closing soon. Great service, conversation and atmosphere! Finally got the opportunity to check out Anejo in downtown Snoqualmie after hearing recommendations from family. It did not disappoint! Got there right before dinner headed out and ended up coming back for some drinks later! Love the atmosphere in here, I can definitely see this being my partner and I's new summer spot! Went a couple weeks after they opened and tried a couple items. It was nothing to write home about. We decided to give it another try recently and it was horrible. Store bought tortillas that were dry and split in half when we folded the tacos. The sandwich we ordered was so tiny (not even as big as an English muffin). The sandwich came with salad and the greens were wilted, had already turned brown and were slimy. Something the kitchen and server had to have seen, yet still felt compelled to serve it. Lastly we ordered a dessert. It took so long and the server said they were still making it each time she passed by. When it arrived it was clearly evident it was store bought and not prepared in house. It was vile and tasted freezer burnt. read more

We ordered chips and guac and got a salad dressing container worth of guac. But based on taste it wasn't a loss. Stopped in for drinks and appetizers. The restaurant didn't have a sign or notice on the table about happy hour and because when we were seated and only were given the normal menu my partner and I ordered cocktails off of the main menu. We heard the waitress offer a lady sitting at the bar a happy hour menu which alerted us to the fact that they did indeed have a happy hour. Luckily we heard this before ordering any food. I'm disappointed that we weren't offered a happy hour menu when we were seated. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and the chips & guacamole. The shrimp dish was not good at all and if you've had this type of shrimp at other places you will be disappointed too, it was nothing like described. The chips and guacamole were good though. They do have a nice selection of cocktails but are very expensive in my opinion, like $16 and $18 which for me is a bit steep. I'm glad we stopped in but I'm not sure if we'll go back in the future. Oh and the location and ambiance of the bar was quite nice, I give the bar 4 or 5 stars for that. read more

Good place, the owner Marta was very friendly and answered all our questions from the area and about the restaurant (even went to her coffee place Dark Horse Brew) down the road . We have been twice since it opened and both times it was excellent. Our first encounter included eating and drinking outside. We had Tequila tasting which was great I especially liked the anejo (oak barrel aged) Tequila. On both occasions I eat the "steak" tocos, thee well filled tocos, which I would strongly recommend. On the second occasion I had the Tequila "Old Fashion" which was so good I started making the at home. Everyone was friendly and the place has a cool vibe. However, if you are look for the traditional Mexican Restaurant with chips and salsa, this is not it. It's a Tequila Bar and they have done a great job offering a unique experience. read more
