The only thing I would change is maybe making it a little whole wheat, or adding some oatmeal or rolled oats to the dough. I'm weird that way. The only hot drink is coffee, which, even though I'm a tea drinker was fine. We split an Americano. my husband had a pleasant chat with the owner/sales person about the espresso machine. There are several nice looking, larger places on either side if anyone wanted something more substantial. If we're ever in the neighborhood, we will come back. They have a standard rotation of donuts but sometime there are some special ones. The donuts are this soft pillowy texture on the inside and just the smallest amount of bite on the outside. The icing can be a little overly sweet (if you're sensitive to that sort of thing) depending on the flavor but I've found that the passion fruit is always a solid choice. I also enjoy their maple bacon and marionberry. I'll have to try their filled donuts next. They also have savory croissants, get the jalapeno ham and swiss if they are available!
