Well, i am sitting here outside Sweet Heart Dessert and it's 11:10. As you can see from the sign on the door, the cafe is supposed to open at 1100 and i got here early at 1045 because i was craving an icy boba drink. There is nobody inside the restaurant and no note on the door that says "sorry, we will be closed today." Now a worker just appeared and opened the door but did not say "welcome!" or anything vaguely inviting. The boba here is okay but this is not their shining hour of customer service, i can tell you that ... if you are going to open late, you should at least put a note ... and greet the customers who have been dutifully waiting outside. While i was here, at least three other peiple came up, tried the door a d walked away discouraged. read more

Decent price for drinks, and I love that I can get bakery items here if I wanted to. I'd give the drinks a 4/5 and the egg tarts a 3/5. I ordered an oolong milk tea with boba 50% sweet. I loved that I could actually taste the oolong tea. It wasn't overpowered by the milk or the sugar. The red bean egg tarts were not crisp and flaky as most egg tarts typically are. The inside was more like an airy croissant. Be aware that they don't always have all the toppings or pastries that are on their menu. I think they rotate the pastries they serve per day? My friend and I walked in and were planning to order an egg tart, but they only had red bean egg tarts that day. The store was owned by an Asian family. Inside the store was bright, clean and cozy. They sold cakes with creams and fruit-fillings, such as strawberries, mangos and durians. They also sold chocolates, mocha, green tea flavored cakes, also egg tarts, and red bean breads. I tried the fruit cake with mango and strawberry fillings, it's pretty good, and not overly sweet. Beside cakes, they also sold bubble (boba) teas. I ordered the strawberry-infused green tea. It also tasted yummy! I will come again. :) read more

Great service! A very kind owner who handmakes every drink and dessert possible!! Decent prices for all drinks and has many options. Boba in drink was definitely handmade too, but very good. Not overwhelming with sweetness and not bland either. We ordered a chocolate crepe cake and it was beyond our expectations. It was cold and had frosting under each layer, absolute perfection :) Please come and try their stuff, i think their business isn't getting too many attention throughout the years. So fun!!! Have been waiting for them to open and their desserts are fabulous. The crepe cakes are really good (husband got Strawberry) and my mango cake was awesome and not too sweet. There are lots of good matcha offerings which is really nice, and they have both dessert and drink options. It was so nice to have milk tea not completely loaded with sugar. the environment is lovely and so was the sweet girl working there by herself. I just have to say we waited like 30 minutes to get a boba and an Italian soda. We're very patient people but eventually we started getting impatient. She kept leaving and going across the street to the Thai place and then coming back. And the lady before us must have been there even longer than us she seemed so frustrated. Then I get my Italian soda and it's nothing like it was advertised to be on the picture. Maybe it was my fault for not asking for cream but I just assumed it would come like it showed in the picture. Very disappointing cause it's a cute place. Delicious and light cakes and friendly service! This cafe opened about a month ago, they have fruit cakes, crepe layer cakes (love the Oreo) and other pastries. The tea was about the price that you would eexpect and tasted fine. The furniture was cute but the overall design didn't quite hit the mark.
